Trail houndInterviews that bring many facets of running to lifeRon interviews interesting people in the running world, not just the elites we’ve all heard about. His convivial conversation lets guests offer their unique take on this sport/passion/lifestyle. It’s like a good long run with running buddies.

Chi runner girlPositive vibes and insight from one of the BEST!Ron does an amazing job of interviewing people in an authentic way. He has a gift of bringing out the best nuggets of information from the people he is interviewing. I value his experience in the sport and the guidance of the people he interviews. Ron is a natural interviewer, amazing athlete and overall the most caring human being who spreads positivity to all around him!
-
Robert DaltoGreat on themeRon does a great job highlighting stories across the marathon community, shining light to both the accomplishments and purpose behind what makes the sport so great.

TPK125Not what I expectedA friend of mine, who’s a friend of Ron’s, recommended this podcast to me. I tried, I really did. Listened to several episodes because I respect my friend’s opinion. But Ron repeatedly makes every discussion about him and it just makes it hard to listen to. His guests are pretty good and have interesting stories to share but Ron seems to want to make himself the star. No more for me. If you want to make it a podcast about you then just skip the guests.

hdud$$Truly awesome!I met Ron in Tokyo a couple of weeks ago. We instantly connected: it was as if I had always known him. Ron has a HUGE heart. He is incredibly authentic. He loves people and it transpires in this incredible podcast. I have been catching up on episodes during my runs and I know of no other podcaster who gets to the human drama the way Ron does. This is not about pacing, cadence or HIIT (even though you do learn a lot about all that!) and much more about human stories, with their ups and downs, struggles and victories. Because Ron is so authentic, and because he opens his heart to people, they reciprocate unconsciously and it makes for a deep conversations. I particularly loved the recent episode with Neely Gracey who is my amazing coach. Thank you Ron for the amazing work!

Clyde0216Jenny HitchinsToo much Ron, too little of his guests.

LushmuffinAllan Dias InterviewAllan is truly an inspiration and motivating not just in running but cycling and all aspects of life as well. Last summer I began running because of Allan he motivated and supported me he was there when I ran my first 5K Ron’s podcast are very interesting and knowledgeable. I always enjoy listening to them. I have heard nothing but great things about Ron
-
SchiffhankAllan Dias interviewKnowing both Ron and Allan, they both have a heartfelt love for the sport of running. It comes through in the interview. They are a bright flash of light in an otherwise cynical world. Enjoy the world that running brings to you!
-

Susan3733Ron is the BEST - insightful interviews with awesome guests!Ron has an unique gift for getting fascinating info and useful insights out of his accomplished, interesting guests. He’s super fun to listen to, always asks the questions I was thinking and really connects with his guests, who share all kinds of good running tidbits! I’ve learned so much about training, mindset, racing, nutrition and more from his podcasts. Highly recommend!
-
Atb275Great guests, but I wish we could hear them moreI started listening to this show because there are some awesome guests, but I got a little frustrated with how much the host talks over them and puts words in their mouth. I always like to hear some of the host’s experience, but this is a lot.
-
Tb0dsOne of the best running podcasts out there!I really enjoy Ron’s podcast. I love his style and energy when interviewing guests. I just listened to his episode with Rory Linkletter and found it very inspirational. If you’re looking for a great pod to run to, look no further!
-
VirginiaRunHerGirlAppreciate the inspirationGreat guests, energy, and content. one thing that’s distracting.... too many instances of Host breaking the flow of interview to talk about himself. The host Is great but really at his best when he is genuinely focused on letting the guest tell their stories with interesting questions vice devolving commentary about himself or qualifications at the expense of the guest. As the minutes tick on. You wonder is this podcast about the host or the guest. A compromise might be a quarterly episode with no guests- just questions from listeners about the hist.. the other episodes? Shine the light on the great people you bring to this show. .they are great.

melder83Most Relatable Running ShowI may be biased because Ron is a local legend where I’m from, but this is possibly my favorite running podcast. Ron has such great energy and is so engaged with each guest. And what I love about his guests, is that they’re often very relatable. He finds people who are less widely known, but who have amazing stories of personal triumph, and achievements that are more about about overcoming adversity than just winning races.
-
HoosierCowboyGreat stories!Fantastic running podcast, but the stories about each individual is what makes this unique. Everyone has a story and Ron always brings that out of his guests! Keep up the great work, Ron 🙏💯
-

runmrrunShedding light to Runnings unknownAs an educator I believe in the saying, “A real teacher never stops learning.” I take the same principle into my coaching and new running nerdom. Ron’s Running chat podcast has become one of my go to outlets for running knowledge. More than Ron’s experiences and insight, which he is very well versed in, but his quality of guests are quite intriguing. His guest are bringing attention to different sides of running that I was unaware of. I have been especially into finding older athletes who have discovered their niche in running. Learning more and more than competitive running isn’t just for the young. Ron’s found his niche in the running world and I hope he continues to share great content and inspire people like he has done for me.

DesignJLPDKEEP MOVINGAfter just getting to know Ron we immediately hit it off! I’m a designer / runner and with the podcast I listen to them on my runs and while I work. Just starting to make my way through the episodes and you can tell that Ron really has a true passion for what he does. Each episode has different feelings and you always want MORE! When I’m working and listening to episodes it’s easy for me to get lost in the podcast and almost makes me feel like I’m apart of the journey. Amazing work brother man - keep it up! Jared ☠️

danigogsGrateful heart! It is with the most grateful heart I say that of the few podcasts I have been a guest on, this was by far my favorite. Ron is totally on my wavelength, together we gelled we hit it all. We laughed, we swore, we shared stories of strength, courage, perseverance and gratitude. He is easy to talk to, has a beautiful speaking voice, is totally engaging and I can’t wait to do it again!

chrismorgs13Kept me runningI only planned an easy 10k today to break in the new shoes but had to keep listening until the end! I usually find podcasts have a time limit that reach a point in which the listener either starts thinking of something else to listen to or the podcast itself just runs out of gas. I found Rons podcast flew by with great topics and insights that honestly could have continued without the listener falling tired. I’ve listened to 3 different chats now and will be listening for sure on my next run. Great stuff Ron!

lgrayguthrieRunRon and Steve Sisson InterviewHey Ron, thank you for interviewing our own personal sorcerer. We love him too. You brought home all the feels for how much he had to offer. Not only as a running coach, but also a mental training coach. It carries over in many aspects of life. That’s because he does take teal life scenarios and ties it into our running and racing. Go Telos Tribe! And as Steve says, you are in the tribe whether you know it or not. ✔️ #telosrunning. #runningonpurpose Loretta Guthrie #teamtelosalpha
