Marilyn0683Make you feel apart of their podcast!I started listening back in 2020. They are fun to listen too, and make you feel like your part of the conversation if they ask for feedback! Please keep it going and keep us laughing. Great job. Look forward to all the new stuff coming!

GhostsliderWhere do I start…..It’s Amazing 5 stars!!!Doug and Drew are the AV Geeks extraordinaire. From talking about all the AV news in the world to comparing some of the worlds best Airlines. Exceptional talk over things such as the A321Neo to Boom technologies Supersonic Aircraft. I love hearing of Drew’s private plane flights to Doug loving to fly to Taipei and back. I would definitely recommend this podcast to ANYONE who wants to get the inside scoop on Aviation news and information. You will definitely get pulled into the conversation and come out with a lot more information than you could possibly imagine. Way to go guys. Keep up the fabulous work and looking forward to the next episode 😀

SixpaqsBeen listening since CovidI have been listening since Covid kept us all locked up. It’s a wonderful podcast. I don’t miss an episode every Monday AM on my hourlong walk. Funny, insightful and very entertaining. You grow to feel like they are family. Best part of the show is talking to myself correcting Drew whenever he gets a random fact completely wrong. (Hehe!). But they have a great podcast.
-
CImblerAspirational listenI started listening after reading about it in NYT. Doug and Drew provide the perfect combo of aviation news and fun personal stories. I dream of my “next trip” while listening. Also they REALLY DO read your emails, I enjoyed hearing my on the show! Don’t miss an episode.

Parker AlisonAwesome insights, fun stories!Doug and Drew are awesome! I’ve been listening since episode 2, and it always starts my week off well. These guys know their stuff and provide interesting industry insights. Funny and friendly, it’s always a joy to catch up with the latest news each week. Their down to earth format is approachable and the guests are great too. Thanks guys for making my commute way better each week!

Bigboy RollinFor me, it’s the bestI am currently sitting on a 717 waiting for maintenance to fix whatever issue it is having. Thanks to Doug and Drew I know what’s going on and what to expect (actually anticipating switching planes) I patiently scroll social media, (on WiFi) but wait I haven’t listened to the Next Trip this week! SCORE! flight time and the latest episode will be about the same once we get in the air. Oh yeah I actually listened to every episode but in reverse from episode 150 back with new ones mixed in, so now I’m weekly, ugh

elikqitieAwesome and Entertaining Aviation PodcastDoug and Drew are one of the best co-host teams I’ve listened to over the past few years. These guys are informative, entertaining and funny! I’ve learned so much about the airline industry and airplanes from listening to their podcast and I know you will too! I’d love to have you both on my podcast to talk airline travel! Contact me through my website Travel Gluten Free Podcast.

Chris Kappa DPersonal indulgence!Drew and Doug are simply awesome in providing an informative and fun weekly update in all things aviation. I grew up with a father in aviation, so while I’ve been imparted with a love of travel and planes on the periphery...this podcast certainly bolsters it. More importantly, I personally experienced the beginnings of Drew’s love for planes in elementary and high school so I know the passion is real and genuine (not that it doesn’t come across in the show)! It is personally heartwarming to know he achieved his passions and is living his dream. Can’t wait to hear more. p.s. I will never see street tacos the same again!
-
crjlover-nolanBest travel podcastThese guys have an awesome blend of funny and informative intel in the nonrev and airline, and aviation world. Get the perspective of a ops agent, as well as a pilot in the USAF. 10/10

Cjbopp8Informative & FunThis show is extremely informative and truly enjoyable to listen to! It is nice to hear from professionals, as Doug and Drew have the experience and knowledge of this ever changing industry. I love how you guys have recorded in airports, giving the show a perfect backdrop and immersion. Plus I love how you have other professionals come as guests on your show to share their experiences! Your passion for the industry is very evident, which makes the listening experience even better! Keep up the great work!

gwpet01Best Avgeek Podcast Out ThereThis is the best avgeek podcast out there right now. They have fun, informative topics and try to be optimistic about the current situation. I always look forward to my drive to work on Monday mornings and listening to a new episode. Keep up the good work Doug and Drew!
-
ashrock.forward✈️ Pure #AvGeek enlightenmentIn the short time I’ve been listening to this podcast, Doug and Drew have increased my aviation knowledge by at least 500%. Great mix of news, ops, aircraft, and airports. I don’t work in aviation, but these guys have me seriously thinking about changing careers to get those lucrative nonrevs. Really appreciate their stories at a time when I long to get back on a plane. And they sound like kind, decent people. 💯
-
MileagerunnersteveGood Avgeek show from people who work in the industryThese guys are starting out, relatively speaking, in the podcast world, but they distinguish themselves from other aviation themed podcasts in that they actually work in the industry. They both seem like passionate Avgeeks, they know what they’re talking about, and they have a great camaraderie. Doug seems like the nice dorky (meant kindly) guy everyone liked in high school, and Drew seems like the guy whose smarts you always underestimated in school. Together they really care about aviation and the people working in the industry, which makes me like them even more.

J in FoCoSpot On!Been flying globally for decades but didn’t realize what an avgeek I was until I started listening to the Layovers podcast. That’s where I discovered Next Trip. Great compliment to Layovers that gives more ops and industry insight without being tedious. Episode length and frequency is spot on. A350>A380>B787 and is an amazing aircraft. Biscoff>>Oreo.

TheSaintSinnerMy weekly version of the „Layovers Podcast“This podcast has truly become my weekly version of the „Layovers Podcast“. Working Front Line in the air for an airline from Switzerland and being German I wish some of the topics would not be so US centered but that’s pretty much the only down point. Even for me it is highly informative and I can still learn things. This is especially true when it comes to operational topics, as the „distance“ between the people who work in the plane and the ones who tell you where to go is sometimes Very big! Therefore I’m extremely thankful that you guys also help to foster the understanding between different departments of an airline. I truly hope you‘ll get to do hundreds of more episodes in the future. Continue the great work.
-
Sn112903The AVgeek outlet I’ve been looking for!I’ve checked out many aviation podcasts and this has just the right feel. Y’all think just like I do and this will help me keep up with aviation news in a compact and entertaining way. Thanks for making this podcast and keep it up!
-
Robby SaylesLove the new vibe :)Love the #avgeek talk, keep up the awesome job guys! Robby :)
-
Annoyed VO UserGood listenThe best thing about the podcast, to me, is the rapport between Doug and Drew. Their insight, from working in the industry, brings a perspective that's different and quite enjoyable.
