This podcast is the best podcast in existence. When I think about being a young Black man and getting the opportunity to hear stories from people in these industries that feel so far away, I’ve come to Claima seat and feel educated. I used to go to business of hype for game, until Claima was birthed to get in real life situational stories and hear the immaculate voice of Sir Bimma Williams (we put a Sir on him even though he’s not English) because he’s a goat and he’s a legend and he’s someone who sacrificed his own career for a higher purpose. I thank him and his people, I need me a purple coffee table now.

Simply one of the most engaging and compelling podcasts out there. Not just industry naval gazing. So much heart and soul.

This podcast highlights POC in the industry and it’s so important for aspiring POC who want to enter this field (or any field for that matter!) to hear these stories. I like how Bimma asks questions about the guests cultural upbringing because it really helps you connect to the guests even more.

Bimma is an incredible story teller who knows how to get the nuggets of information out of the people he’s interviewing to put a full story together about someone’s life and career. Love that this serves as way to see how other folks in the industry did it.

Bima has great timing. He fully allows guests to go in depth with their personal experiences. He is an excellent listener and always puts his guests at ease.

One of the best memories of 2020 was being able to sit in one of Bimma’s Claima podcasts. Learning about everyone’s journey in the sports retail is so interesting and insightful! I would highly recommend listening to this podcast! And if anyone wants to get into this industry this podcast is a must! The guest speakers don’t sugar coat about how hard it was to get into this industry. They tell us stories of their struggles and the hustle to get to where they are now in the industry they love. These interviews lend an enhanced perspective that people interested in these topics would never be able to gain unless they were well connected in the industry. This exclusive access and thorough illustration of not only the interviewees professional lives but also their personal history serves to bring the audience in as if they were gathered around the dinner table in a casual exchange of conversation; a mode of communication we all can personally relate to. Bimma and his team bring the people who work behind the scenes in the athletic and outdoor industry to the center stage, some for the first time, to show their audience how and why they’ve achieved so much. It’s not only interesting and illuminating, but also educational and extremely useful information that simply can’t be found published anywhere else.

This podcast is amazing! You get an inside look into different careers within the sportswear industry, how they got there, the ups and downs along the way, the struggles in their current career, and of course the successes that landed them in one of the coveted roles at companies like Nike, Adidas, UA, etc. Every persons story is different and each time I learn something new that motivates me in my career ambitions. Plus Bimma has the very rare natural ability to have the voice and talent for interviewing. He asks the right questions in the right way while making you and his interviewee laugh. Truly has a natural talent for connecting with people in an authentic way. 11/10 would recommend!

Very compelling stories that guests have shared and truly invaluable to learn from. As a minority, very inspiring to hear the experiences from someone who I feel can relate so much to my background, and uplifting to see where they currently are in their career, as well as what they’ve had to go through to be there.

I have absolutely zero interest in fashion or footwear, but Bimma is a natural behind the mic. Claima is an important project and a great listen regardless of l your interest in the industry.

Claima Stories is one of my favorite new podcasts! From Claima stories, I get to hear the stories of how professionals in various fields of work navigate the corporate landscape working for companies where many like them are underrepresented. It inspires me to never settle in what I feel I’m worth, and look to connect with others like me to foster relationships and leverage the power we have to push global brands to be better.

Very dope content, amazing energy, super dope stories. Putting light on people who a lot of us still don’t know about but need to know.

I’m such a fan of these stories! Listening to people share their stories of their struggles and successes in breaking into the sportswear industry is so amazing. I don’t work in sportswear but I take the lessons they share and apply to my own industry. It’s so cool to hear about people working at Nike, adidas, under armor, etc! Highly recommend.
