    Loving this podcast
I work at a plant nursery and take care of many house plants, I Love listening while watering and caring for them! Thank you for your hard work in providing this podcast.

    Something I listen to repeatedly
This podcast is so informative and fun and witchy! Juliet often calls her readers and followers “besties” and you will feel like your witchy besties are talking shop with you over coffee or wine. I listen to all the episodes repeatedly. It helps when I’m feeling stagnant in my practice. The lore about the plants is fascinating and and brought about more appreciation for the plants I already work with. Can not wait for the next season! My only complaint is there are not enough episodes in a season, though I know they’re busy people 🖤

    Best Herbal Podcast!
Love you two ladies!! This podcast is so educational, and you guys know how to keep your audience intrigued and interested in what you are saying!

    misleading title
Based on the name of the podcast I thought there would be actual discussions about plants and herbs. I tried to listen to the mandrake episode but couldn’t finish it. This is probably a good podcast for teenagers or “baby witches” who are into WitchTok culture but if you’re looking for actual in-depth content, keep looking.

    Well-rounded descriptions!
Stumbled on this and absolutely love it. I love that they talk about how indigenous practices are seen throughout current traditions of colonizers. Plus, its fascinating hearing their perspective of 2020 in hindsight.

Love! Please teach me about Aloe :)
I love your podcast! Can you do an episode on Aloe?

I’m hooked! This is such a wonderful introduction to plants. I’ve been able to take in their information and use it in my own practices with my own spin on it. The freedom to work without restraints has really made me blossom into the best Witch I can be! Thanks so much to you both!

    Favorite Witchy Podcast
The first time I listened to the pod, I was looking into uses for the Rose of Jericho I was drawn to at the store and bought. They did not disappoint! I learned so much about that beautiful plant, and could not wait to listen to more episodes! I have learned so much about working with plants through this podcast, which is my favorite way to practice my craft. I have also learned so much about decolonizing my practice, which has been the most valuable lessons I continue to learn through this podcast. I love these witches. Thanks for your hard work!

    Entertaining and informational
I LOVE this podcast. Not only is the information given in an easily digestible way, but these gals are so entertaining! I love hearing their experiences and stories and how they relate it to their plant of the month. Their wonderfully charming personalities really make this podcast one of my go-to’s.

    I love it, but…
I love this podcast and I find all of the information very interesting and useful. I enjoy Juliet and Chelsea’s perspectives and knowledge. BUT, I wish Juliet would stop derailing the conversation talking about herself. She even says she doesn’t like to talk about herself, and yet there are so many episodes where the plant/herb is barely even spoken about because of it. I also wish the same personal stories wouldn’t be repeated in several episodes.
  • SumAngrySalmon
    Juliet ruins it with hatefulness
The Juniper Episode was awful when it comes to Juliet. What she said about her neighbors was so mean spirited and hateful I had to listen to something else to get the taste out of my mouth. The idea that she needs “protection” from her neighbors because they simply asked if she wanted to take a walk with them is ridiculous. She even talked about wanting them to move out of/lose their house because they had the audacity to be kind to her. It’s so mean it felt gross to listen to, had to turn it off. I started listening to this podcast because I adore Witch Baby Soap. I’m still going to support Chelsea’s store, but I definitely won’t let Juliet’s negativity influence me anymore. I don’t wish ill upon her, just wish she wouldn’t be so hateful, it makes the podcast hard to listen to.

    Top tier
I rarely leave reviews and even more rarely speak of my practice but I’ve been a practicing witch now for well over a decade and these two put out amazing top tier content. Any old fledgling dabbler could sit and talk about google search results but these women have clearly done the spiritual work! I am obsessed with them and choked on my air when I saw they had returned! Also very stoked about this mandrake episode one of my favorite of the baneful herbs. Please do henbane at some point, and please never stop this show! Much love!

    Bing worthy!
I found this podcast a few weeks ago and have been binging it ever since! I am trying to learn more about plants, pay more attention to my own, and connect to them spiritually and magically and this has really satisfied what I’ve been looking for. Juliet and Chelsea are so passionate, knowledgeable, balanced and fun! I also feel like I’m learning so much more than just the plants, but history, personal stories and uses. I’m already inspired and diving into Juliet’s books and I’d LOVE to see Chelsea put out her own book on Bath magic! Please Chelsea, that wold be amazing! I want to learn more!

    Memorable
While each episode is plant based, you get so much more than plant knowledge and it’s corespondents. The best part for me is when they start talking about life, the state of the world, religion practices, and even politics. If you are super sensitive to cussing, either ignore it or this isn’t the podcast for you. They keep it real and passionate. That is refreshing when most try to keep topics and conversation under the PG13 rating.

    Insightful & Entertaining
The podcast is insightful and entertaining. The conversation flow is authentic, not rehearsed. It’s easy listening, two friends having a chat, dropping wisdom, while having a good a time. The topics are insightful and provides a bridge for those who have grown up using plants but never knew why.

    Enlightening
I’m so happy this podcast exists. I’m a stay at home mom and I listen to it while making breakfast. It feels like Chelsea and Juliet are sitting at my kitchen table having a chat. I moved to a new state where I don’t have any friends and listening to them makes me wish they were my friends in real life haha I’m happy to learn about each plant and I love when they start to talk about their personal perspectives/experiences. I got so excited for the new episode they put out today, so glad they’re back.

    Speaking to my soul
I am new to the podcast but am absolutely in love! I’ve learned so much. The episode on walnuts was particularly life changing for me. I appreciated the knowledge being shared but the side conversation about making this your own practice and doing what you know and feel is right for you really hit home for me, and I needed to hear it - more than I knew. So thank you ❤️

    I love this podcast
Within a month I have binged all the episodes from seasons 1 and 2. Juliet and Chelsea provide so many interesting details for each plant but I also love their personal back and forth that they always tie back to the plant. Very organic banter. The Rose of Jericho episode, I mean; yes yes yes! As an Italian American I saved the chili pepper episode. Loved the info and it brought back memories of my families own ancestral folk magick for protection and good luck. Can't wait for season 3! Also, buy Juliet's books and Oracle decks (love them all) and Chelsea's body products (she knows what's up). Support these fighters that rose up against the odds.

Thank you for all the valuable content.

    Love this podcast!
I started listening in 2020 after I saw Elder Hour listed in a magazine article. I really enjoy learning about how the plant was used, mythology associated with the plants mention and how these practitioners use it in their practices! I also love the decolonizing of a lot of the plants in this podcast. I can’t wait for this podcast to come back!!!

So much love for this podcast
This is the first time I’ve actually gotten hooked on listening to a podcast. The information I’ve learned while listened has changed the way I view certain aspects a of magick and it makes me so happy to have a reliable source to turn to that is not only in a book ( mainly bc it’s hard for me to focus on books ). Forever grateful for this podcast and hope in continues!!

    Entertaining, informative and EMPOWERING!!!
Love these two ladies so much! Thank you for the knowledge you share with us, and we feel your love so we hope you feel ours! I very highly recommend this podcast; you will learn so much about plants and herbs. And it helped super jumpstart me on an honest and decolonization-based green witch journey. Xoxo!
  • frankie_doodle
    So much information!
Each episode contains so much information and always an insightful and fun conversion on plants, herbs, and spiritual journey. I adore these two women ❤️

    Fantastic resources and inspiring conversations
This is my current FAVORITE podcast. As a baby green witch, it was important for me that I only take in vetted information. Juliet’s book Witchery was my first book that I purchased on my journey, and I’m delighted that she made a podcast with my favorite self-care goddess, Chelsea from Witch Baby. Getting both the indigenous and pagan perspective feels both divinely inspired and comprehensive. I really really hope they continue to make episodes into 2021. Ya’lls conversations have inspired my baths and rituals, and helped me find greater peace within myself and nature. Sending you both love and happiness

    Educational & Oozes Warmth
I can’t describe how this podcast brings me comfort & joy! Each podcast I feel like I am learning from my two older sisters, as they guide me on my journey into witchcraft. It is not only about the research they learn about the plant, but they connect the plant back to their lives. Not only am I learning, but these two are also helping this Brooklyn girl, transition to living in Jersey. Also as a mixed baby (Cuban, Chinese from my father’s side | Italian, Irish, German from mother’s side), I love that they share knowledge of the plant from other cultures/religions, but also learning from a fellow Cubana is an added bonus(one of my cultures I connect with the most). I could go on about how much joy this podcast has brought me. Thank you Chelsea & Juliet for this wonderful podcast!!! Can’t wait for season 3!

    Fun and Educational
I love this podcast so much! Not only is the information fascinating and educational, but the chemistry between the co-hosts is enjoyable and fun. You feel like you are in a room with friends. I have learned so much more about plants thanks to these wonderful ladies and I can’t wait to hear more!

    fascinating
wow. Man these are like the homegirls I’ve always needed and never had! This is my first time hearing the podcast, and I don’t feel alone. I agreed with so many things that were so helpful for my growth.

My two new friends whom I’ve never met💜
Juliet and Chelsea feel like new friends that I am fortunate to spend time with. The way they respectfully research & convey their knowledge of plants, herbs, trees and the like is wonderful. The honesty in the way they talk about the adventures of being female and the joy of being plant lovers. I love listening to them while I cook, when I’m driving or just laying in my bed trying to sleep but I can’t go to sleep because I’m intrigued by every episode. This podcast is one my favorite to share with complete strangers as well as friends & familia ❣️ I’m am comforted, intrigued and tickled by Juliet & Chelsea’s unique friendship with each other and witchcraft.

    Excellent
Every episode is a deep dive into a particular plant magick. I love the format, where each host presents their research and knowledge, and it is very clear that they have invested much time and energy. I appreciate the perfect balance of structure and planning and intuitive conversational development. I always learn something from every episode, and it inspires me to be creative and experiment with more plant magick. A true gem and so so so good! Thank you for creating this podcast! LOVE✨🖤✨

    Listen to this Podcast!
I just want to listen to Juliet and Chelsea all the time! This podcast is packed to the brim with wonder, wisdom, and love.

    Podcast perfection!
I love how in depth Juliet and Chelsea get with each plant they discuss. They provide so much background history, medicinal and magical properties and are so generous with their ideas and suggestions for working with the plants they discuss. It’s thoroughly researched and they provide insights from various cultures. They manage to not be Eurocentric while also being very thoughtful when sharing information from other cultures. The fact that this is free is a miracle, this information is utterly priceless 🙏🏽

    Super Informative
This podcast is one of my most trusted sources for witchcraft and plant info. The hosts do their research and know their stuff. I also love their friendly banter and I look forward to each new episode.

    My happy podcast
Hi guys I love your podcast it always puts me in a great mood, I love your friendship and it flows so natural in the podcast, I feel like I’m friends with you guys some how even though you don’t know me 🖤 I have been a fan/customer of witch baby soap since I was in high school (I’m 24 now) and seeing the growth and now a podcast is so amazing. I also discovered Juliet through this podcast it feels so nice seeing Caribbean representation I am Puerto Rican and feel like most witchy podcasts don’t resonate because they are mainly Wicca but I consider myself a bruja and hearing Juliet talk about the foods from her culture and her Puerto Rican husband is very comforting to me I hope you both have a lovely day - Yessenia (Yessi)
  • Brxgirl
    A review you say!!
I LOVE YOU GUYS!! Chelsea is my Taurus sister witch and Juliet is everything cause I relate to her in so many ways. I’m a NewYorrican (BORIQUA) and my best friends growing up in the BX were/are Cuban and everything you discuss was just regular life for me ☺️. But moved out West almost 20 years ago I strayed away from a lot of that (not on purpose just happened) but now I’m re-finding myself and my roots and it’s AMAZING. I have both your books, reading the first one now and I look forward to getting to know and learn about Chelsea’s products as well. May you both continue to be blessed in ALL you do.

A Great Podcast by Great People
I have been listening since season one and look forward to each new episode. The history is interesting, the magical uses are broad and all encompassing, and Juliet and Chelsea’s friendship and easy conversation makes each episode special. This podcast is my current favorite witchy podcast because it takes away the elitism that has seeped into our culture and makes witchcraft accessible to all who are dawn to it 💜
  • Quiteviolet
    so much plant magic.
informative and so, so, full of magic. I just discovered it, even though I’ve been a fan of Chelsea’s witch baby soap for a while (and a new fan of Juliet. I ordered both of her books, already) and started listening to it last week and am almost up to date on it. I find myself doing my own research on the featured plants after listening to the episodes. and not only the plants, but on all the magical info that they speak of. I’ve gotten so many ideas and have been witchly inspired. This podcast has become such an important resource. may I just make the request that the blog be updated? when you have time, of course. I know you are both very busy. I found it to be such a valuable companion to the podcast.
  • CauldronBubble
    Very informative
I love how well-researched each episode is, and the resulting conversations, especially when they talk about their personal experiences and history related to each subject. While sharing their individual versions of what witchcraft means to them, though, they could be friendlier to inexperienced witches who are here to learn, and who are forging their own path as individual witches. For example, they say you can’t call yourself a witch unless you do certain things, but they’re not specific about what that means. It creates an air of vague exclusivity.

Everything a Plant Witch Could Want
This is my absolute favorite new podcast. Juliet and Chelsea present incredibly well researched topics that include lore, uses, magic and history of specific botanical friends. I have learned SO much. Their dynamic is friendly, loving and supportive and they dive into their respective ancestral backgrounds in regards to traditions, cultures and witchcraft. It is a joy to listen to! If you don’t already support their work: Witch Baby Soap (phenomenal seasonal and moon phase bath products are divine) and Juliet’s published works are not-to-be-missed (can’t wait for Plant Witchery to arrive!) Ladies as soon as you put up your Patreon account I will be in line to support your work further. Sending you much love and gratitude for this contribution to healing and culture - A Witch in Santa Fe

    Great podcast
I love research based, more formal podcasts that I don’t have to fast forward 30 minutes of banter to get to the grit. I’m so happy I found this one thank you!

    The plants are talking!
And we are for sure listening ❤️❤️❤️ this podcast is so beautiful. I am listening and learning. The Fly Agaric and Pomegranate episodes are definitely in the process of changing my LIFE so excuse me let me go and listen some more 👂 thank you for this educational experience.

    Seriously the BEST PODCAST EVER
This is the ONLY podcast I listen to and I’ve listened to every single episode multiple times. This is seriously the BEST podcast I’ve ever listened to. Not only am I learning about plants, magic and folklore, I also feel so much connection to Juliet and Chelsea. I LOVE their personal shares to the plant discussed, the personal magic they practice, and their vulnerability and humor. I am such a stand for everything these two beautiful beings are bringing into this world. I look forward to every week when a new episode is released! If I could rate this podcast more stars, I would! I can’t wait to learn more! Sending you both love from this fellow Jersey girl! ✨
  • LuckyJouissance
    Love it.
Out of the podcasts I listen to, this is the only one where I listen to the episodes more than once. I’ve listened to the episode on hot peppers at least three times. I even grew a pepper plant! It’s really beautifully done, great information, and always exciting to listen to.
  • LML85
The first written review I’ve ever bothered to type.
Never have I felt called to leave more than a star rating on the multitude of podcasts I listen to- but I needed to come give these ladies some love because it’s just that good! I can’t wait for the new episodes to come out and between seasons, hell between weeks, I re listen and learn. These women are amazing and open and knowledgeable and funny and relatable and on and on and I am so happy to have Elder Hour in my life!! LISTEN if you haven’t!!
