SGR in FLThoroughly enjoyed every oneI’ve listened to them all, now what do I do while I wait for the next one? As I said in the title, I thoroughly enjoyed these podcasts. Andy and Nicky are excellent at interviewing guests and getting them to unlock their great stories. Really appreciate all the work that goes into these and their passion for doing it.

Bob hoperGreat Show, Excellent Guests…Really enjoy the show & all the amazing guests. They each have some incredible stories about their experiences fishing. I think the father/son hosts do a great job my only respectful request is many times a guest will be elaborating on a thought & you hit them with an unrelated question. It just comes off a bit frustrating. Questions are great but please let the guy finish a complete thought sometimes.

t gg nGreat podcast! In addition to captains and guides how about some more fly tyers—great show with Bob Popovic by the way. Watching a Kelly Galloup video right now. He should be in your archives, among others like Rosenbauer, Flagler, and Cheech too! Again, really enjoy the podcast, I look forward to it each week. Thanks.

Wg 76Mill houseAndy thank you very much for your podcast. I love listening to the stories of the Fla Key’s guides. As them I learned and fell in love with the great sport of fishing that was introduced to me by my grandfather. You help me relive those days and it brings great joy and fond memories of my boyhood fishing The podcast help me escape from the Covid world right we all are living in at the present. During these podcast I fell like I am right there along with these great guides with the salt breeze blowing on my face. Can’t wait each week for the next one. Thank you very much and these podcast have helped me fill a void. maybe one day I we will meet on the water or enjoy a rum. Also thanks for introducing me to Pilar Tim. T

rtfresrterereBob PopovicsI love your podcast. I don’t even fish, let alone fly fish but I’m a life long ocean sailor. I “go there” listening to all your shows. This one with Bob hit me where it counts, right in the kisser! I spent many years sailing those waters back then. This is a keeper among keepers! Thanks!

Very good and fun!Cool, but fix your introductionI love the podcast, fascinating/great interviews but every time I hear the intro with someone commenting about getting the largest ladies panties I cringe.
-
Fish ArtsFantastic PodcastFascinating interviews with the pioneers of fishing, and a glimpse into the glory days of Florida flats fishing. Love how the Mills are able to get their guests to open up about so much of their past, both good and bad. The only negative is that it makes me sad to hear about how much has changed in Florida, and that I missed out on the early days. Overall, the series will stand as an important oral history.

jj6513Long time listener InputJust wanted to say ive been here since the very beginning Ive listened to some of the episodes more than 5 times. I noticed that early when the guests were guys that you guys also looked up too or considered legends the podcasts seemed more genuine and longer. In the last year probably they seem like the questions are asked and the pod is cut short immediately after the “howd you start whyd you start howd you end up here” i know its a fishing podcast but what makes the guest’s and show interesting is the personalities and different characters we see in the fishing world. Id like to let the conversations play out a little more and not so constricted to the outlined questions every guests gets asked. Also, theres more than a few guests who need 2 maybe 3 episodes. I know that might not always be on the table for many reasons but just something to consider. Either way, this podcast is still the most captivating pod in the fishing realm and Ill be here for every episode. Love the show and I hope this review helps.

olsnflycstrPonzoaGreat to see Albert get his due, one of the very best, always thinking, always working. Mention his name to any guide in the Keys and you will hear the respect they have for him. Another great episode from a truly great interviewer as well, chronicling the stories of guys whose blood, sweat, and tears make memories for everyone.

EspoA90Incredibly entertaining and enjoyableWest coast resident here, I am not a fly fisherman by any means but the stories and delivery of the hosts and guest are fantastic. My go to podcast if I want to relax and take it easy. Thanks fellas

Pilates momAlways excited for a new episode! As usual, the latest MillHouse podcast with Brad Waitman is outstanding. While an avid Florida fisherman, I enjoy it when Andy and Nicky slip in someone who’s expertise is from another geographic region. Fishing is fishing and hunting is hunting, but the differences can be immense. These oral histories are a good way to take stock of one’s own life experiences while listening to some real adventurers. Please keep ‘em coming!

P2 ...Benny BlancoInterview with Benny was awesome, great questions and terrific answers. Glad to see people like him and Captains for clean water are standing up for our resources, could’ve listen to him another couple hours.

Rudy BabikianThe best! While on the road, tying flies, or just looking to hear from an idol in the fishing industry the mill house podcast is beautifully done and the best way to productively pass time. There’s no better platform or podcasters to give informative knowledge and depict the history of fisherman and the progression of targeting the greatest saltwater gamefish. Thank you for the countless hours of entertainment and I look forward to your next show.

David FrancuzzoMill House PodcastI cherish Nature and I’m always out there, but I don’t fish or hunt. That hasn’t stopped me from listening to every episode of the Mill House Podcast. This podcast is so full of interesting, poignant stories, anecdotes, and tales of adventure told by such real deal, amazing people that ANYONE will enjoy it! It’s just so much more than fish stories—listen to recent conversations with Ansel Saunders, Ted Juracsik, Tom McGuane and Rick Ruoff. They’ll break your heart, make you laugh, and make you grateful for life and shared adventures. HUGE PROPS and thank yous to Andy and Nicky for documenting and archiving important history and the lives of such wonderful human beings. VIVA LA VIDA!

OG LRHFMill HouseAndy- the podcast is awesome! I️ have a number of other podcasts that I️ listen to but yours are special. You have a genuine interest in the people you interview and lots of life experiences that helps you to relate with people in a respectful way. I️ really dig the variety of people that you interview. I️ had a chance to listen to you speak about Tarpon fishing and experience the 12 lb. weight when you came through Houston a couple of years ago. Picked up your book and it’s been great to read about the pioneers of our sport and the history. The Ansil episode was your best work yet! His testimony of his race experience and and leadership in his community was amazing. I️ found “Tarppn Andy” to be the best one-liners of the season. Great job guys and truly appreciate the work you guys are putting into three episodes!
-
AJGravWell done account of fishing history in FloridaMy favorites are Rob Fordyce, Ansil, Tom Green, Stu, God of Guides S. Huff, David ‘Magnum’ (Mangum) and of course the one on one with Nathaniel Linville. I hope Nicky never stops heckling his pops!
-
FLJosh35Great PodcastThis is a great fishing podcast. Andy and Nicky guide their guests through fishing stories and the lore of yesteryear. I’ve learned so much from this podcast and always look forward to the next episode. All the episodes are worth your time!
-
LimpStxMy #1 PodcastThere’s something special how Andy, Nicky and their guests are able to tell such vivid stories. No other podcast comes close to what they have to offer! Give it a listen, you won’t regret it.

Rey de PlataMcGuaneAndy and Nick with Tom… where the fark do you guys go from here? Somewhere amazing, as always!!! Thanks!!!
-
cdr1917The stories shared are always compelling.Enjoyed learning about Ryan and Yeti The foundation of the company and the vision of the founders.
-
Adam G 321So insightfulAs a sportsman, fisherman, fly fisherman I am fascinated by the peek inside rhe lives and minds of the guides and personalities you interview.
-
Chris W BallExcellent podcast.I throughly enjoy this weekly podcast. Ryan Seiders seems like a genuine guy but I don’t think he “remembers where he comes from”. What a crock. Yeti stopped discounting coolers for NRA Youth shooting foundation and Stopped donating to Youth shooting charity auctions. I understand public company financial pressures and love to see a small town boy win big, but I could not rationalize why they would stop supporting youth shooting. Guess his mansion and ranches require a lot of attention. I moved to a competitor.
-
flatsbrokeFlatsbrokeHaving fished South Florida and the Keys the last 50 plus years I find the interviews with the legends of the sport fascinating. I regret not having booked more charters with them instead of so stubbornly trying to do it on my own. Listening to their varied views on who owns “spots” and other such topics is very interesting. The podcasts are well done and addicting.
-
Glades RunnerMillhouseInterviews his friends ,guides. Mostly specific to the keys. Don’t forget Florida has other legendary guides too….great job guys.
-
lovequeersOver any expectationsThe best. Fishing experience without being on water with top 5% of Guides in world. Hope to hear from Dave Boras soon.
-
Xer54AwesomeFrom a trout guy who dreams of salt water fly fishing, this is an entertaining and informative podcast — just started listening and I see that I have a lot of catching up to do. Thanks!
