They’re making the same mistake as the PFF podcast, doing shows about every team. When I hear these guys consistently demonstrate lack of understanding of one team, I can’t trust there opinions on any teams. Stick to what you know. Quality matters.

Witty, smart, intentional, humble, and caring are a few adjectives that come to mind when describing EJ and Brett. You will not be disappointed by this podcast

Editors I am begging you. Please equalize Brett and EJs mic audio. With normal background noise e.g. driving, Brett is at a normal volume and EJ is a whisper. Please boost his audio or get him to talk into the mic

Mina has impeccable taste & judgement, so obviously Brett wouldn’t have been on today — unless he’d impressed the Yalie with his takes. And during the show, he impressed me as a thoughtful, not-falling-all-over-himself-to-impress-you-with-his-over-caffeinated-WWE-professional-wrestler-like-energy…which is all too rare, in 2023’s TikTok 10-second sound bite-driven sports media landscape. So I followed the show, and look forward to the Bootleg pod analysis as we move into the playoffs. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only new follower, based on Brett being “Knighted by Queen Mina” today 👍

The title is hyperbole obviously, but these guys go into so much more detail than most football podcasts and explain complicated concepts simply and simple ideas in depth. They are my favorite football podcasters.

This show was great but since going to everyday they’re vastly unprepared. Their analysis on the past is still top notch but their projections are not very good. Wish them the best but have to unfollow.

EJ adds nothing to the dynamic of this podcast. He fills time in by saying many words that account for no actual analysis or interesting dialogue. He’ll ramble on and on and on saying nothing in particular only to finish up with: “it’s really going to come down to who can execute”. Wow great input man!!! Brett, please, PLEASE, do this show by yourself.

This is a great podcast that gives some interesting and fun break downs into football and what’s going on in the league. If you enjoy hearing about football and learning more about the X’s and O’s this is a great podcast to listen to.

Appreciate the professionalism of these guys and the talk never devolves in yelling or hot take contests. Just very well reasoned conversations. Well worth a listen.

The biggest problem with most podcasts is the hunt for hot takes and controversy. EJ and Brett do a great job of bringing good solid reasons for all of their takes, they get so excited about nearly every single player they talk about, and know a lot about what they choose to talk about. Excellent content with great infectious energy.

First season I started listening to these guys. Haven’t missed a single episode. Absolutely incredible breakdown for each team and makes me even more excited for this football season. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation. Go Jags

It’s the Muni Lot. Short for Municipal. Which is about how you represented the Browns. Wrong. DW’s case is more than what you represented, you had no information that has been released. You basically took salacious headlines from the media and formed a very appropriate White Knight opinion. You could have simply left it at, until the suspension is final, and said we will reserve judgement, but you like a lot of the cancel culture you so gallantly white knight for, has to throw in your two cents to validate your knighthood. I used to love listening and following both of you but after that mess you lost a fan. Btw, DW was not indicated by 2 grand jury’s in Texas. Sorry but if you think there was any chance for a GJ to find probable cause to indict him they would have walked him to the gallows. But that doesn’t fit the narrative of your knighthood. Politics and self-indignation have no place in sports but you both couldn’t help it. You both come off like the Baker Bros we true Browns fans have come to despise.

Brett and EJ have done more for my football understanding than anyone else. When I watch football now, the game slows down just a little bit. This podcast has me refreshing my feed just to see if there’s a new one. They are entertaining, informative, and easy to listen to.

It’s just a good podcast if you enjoy listening and learning more about football!

I love this show, the hosts are interesting and insightful. Great for anyone wanting to get a deeper understanding of football. My only complaint is their very inconsistent posting schedule. They host a live stream of their show every week, but for whatever reason they only sometimes post it as a podcast. Not the biggest problem, just a bit annoying. Definitely worth checking out!!

I really enjoy this popcast

This podcast has an excellent balance of football humor and top tier breakdowns of rosters, players, and schemes. I originally came from Brett Kollman’s YouTube channel and my only negative takeaway was there wasn’t enough content for me to consume. This open-forum podcast format is beautifully balanced between the two co-hosts. If either of you read these reviews, I know how often you are concerned with keeping these episodes under an hour. However, many of those I speak to that listen to the podcast don’t share the same concern for the length that you two do. The in-depth analysis, player comparisons and the rabbit-hole breakdowns are why we love this podcast. Please have no fear in running long on time because our least favorite part of each episode is the end. With that being said, fantastic work and thank you for high quality content.

This is definitely one of my favorite football podcast.. both of you are extremely knowledgeable and just love listening!

Love it to death! High-level football talk in delightful two hour chunks that fly by. Only note and it’s a fairly big one: I wish they’d commit to a regular schedule just so I knew when to expect the next great episode! Otherwise: 10/10! Unparalleled content!
