I have absolutely loved your nerd cast I first heard you on FibreNation I enjoy how you “weave” history, ancestry, community and culture in with tech’s influence on fiber and fiber nudging technology in new directions This past year has heightened our appreciation of adapting, being flexible, looking for opportunity — at “warp” speed. Your nerd cast feels like an unraveling of the speed at which change occurs Thank you for letting me settle in for a listen.

“We don’t knit for soldiers in the trenches anymore.” 🙋‍♀️ I do. I know lots of people who do and soldiers who do as well for mental health as well necessity. Not only does the hostess seem ill prepped but she also just seems to be using this platform for her personal opinions instead of sharing a common craft. Super isolating and unexposed to reality.

Just found the show and listened to The Handmaid’s Tale episode first! I’m glad I’m not the only one who obsesses over the gorgeous knits on TV! I was constantly distracted by the beautiful sweaters Rashida Jones wears in #blackAF on Netflix!

I feel like I’m sitting at the kitchen table with Hannah and her guest. She has created a very unpretentious atmosphere that is a delight to listen to. Love it! Thank you!

Even though I am decidedly NOT a knitter, I love listening to this podcast! Hannah has such interesting guests, and although the topics usually aren’t anything I have any experience with, they’re always so interesting! I love when podcasts direct me to new ways to look at things, or just point out observations that I otherwise would not have noticed. This one does all that. I’ve recommended it to several nerdy knitting physics-loving friends. Keep it going!

Just finished your episode on birds. There is an indi-dyer Hueloco who has a line of hand dyed yarn in CHICKEN colors. I believe she calls it her Backyard Chicken Collection. I laughed ... until I saw the beautiful colors. Take a look!!

Liked Hannah thought she was polished and had good communication skills for a podcast. Edith Eig in Hollywood taught many actors to knit. She used to have a knitting show years ago. In addition she had or maybe still has a yarn store.

Wow, talk about nerding out. This is a rabbit hole of knitting that we ALL have time for, right now!

I laugh out loud at the strange rabbit holes Hannah dives down. All are EXTREMELY relatable. 🤣 Can’t wait for more!
