    Girl boss Dylan story
Atempts to tell Dylan's story in a girl boss way. manages to be exactley that annoying and obnixious. speak a lot without saying anything.

    Definitely a fan!
So happy I discovered this podcast! Laura’s fascination with Dylan’s work is infectious and relatable. I love the recent episode on the history of ‘When I Paint My Masterpiece’ which is a perfect example of why we’ll always be talking about Bob. Excited for the next ep!

    My one indispensable podcast!
Laura always has something original to say. She's delightful and unpretentious, while often charting new ground in her takes on Dylan. Some of the more recent episodes are especially personal and brilliant, with unconventional guests who also do an outstanding job. Highly recommend!

    Highly enjoyable listening!
Tenschert’s sagely erudite and lyrical reflections on Dylan’s music and myth trace a trenchant trajectory of Dylanogical theorizing into illuminatingly erudite and coherently succinct commentary -Highly enjoyable listening!

    Boring
This podcast is more like a college lecture than something “fun.” The presenter seemingly has little to no personality and is rather condescending. A lot of their episodes are on Pareton, on top of it. So they expect you to pay even though they hardly put out any new episodes. Yeah, no thanks.

    The best
There are many podcasts devoted to the music of Bob Dylan and this one is the best. Laura is always raising the tone.

    Compelling and unique analysis
Laura clearly does her homework, delving deep and drawing on an immense number of resources to connect dots that add meaning and insight into Dylan’s lyrics, music, and ideas. She also does her homework in preparing each episode and many are basically narrative essays. Having a fresh feminist approach to Dylan that is both appropriately critical and reverential is unique and an improvement over the old male gatekeepers. She also doesn’t take him or herself too seriously. It is the best Comp Lit class on Dylan you can take. Can’t wait for more.

    Best Dylan discussion
This is BY FAR the best discussions of Dylan going on anywhere right now and ranks among the very best discussions about Dylan of all time. LT is a Swedish British Feminist Academic — but do not let her “outsider” status fool you: she is the most intelligent, fun, knowledgeable, and creative analyst you’ll find, regardless of your own tastes or views. Listen to all episodes of her show: you will learn so much, agree with and be surprised by so much, be provoked by so much, and have a very good time while you do.

    Thank you for all
I am so thrilled that recent shows have been so well received - I agree about every grain of sand It’s a gem Haven’t seen Dylan since a Las Vegas show awhile back with John Mellencamp It wasn’t such a great show but just being in his presence was a gift Love him so so much !

    Definitely Dylan, essential listening
So great to have a female voice in the male dominated Dylanology field. I’ve reached a point where I can’t sit through the all male , middle aged men Dylan panels all over you tube. They remind me too much of myself and, for some reason I can’t see Dylan liking them. That’s not all there is to like here though. Here we have a thorough and though provoking take on Dylan’s work. Refreshing too is the focus on the latter day works. Highly recommended for all Dylan nerds!

    Defently Dylan
Wow, the last two episodes have simply blown my mind. I have to admit that being a long time Dylan fan. I find most praise of Dylan these days are because of his past catalog. Laura has really given me something to think about here. Dylan has always puzzled me. Is he for real or is he just putting us on as Laura suggests. Anyway, well done Laura.

    Absolutely the Best Dylan Podcast!
I have loved everything Dylan for almost 50 years. Definitely Dylan is by far my favorite Dylan podcast and radio show airing on London's Resonance 104.4 FM. Laura Tenschert approaches Dylan not only as a fan but also as an accomplished singer songwriter. Laura’s dives into each distinct Dylan period, live recording or song is nothing short of brilliant, she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight into her explanations and commentary. After listening to other Dylan podcasts I feel like I know a bit more about Dylan, after listening to Laura’s work I feel like I understand Dylan’s work so much better. DefinitelyDylan is indispensable in understanding and expanding my enjoyment of Dylan’s music and lyrics. Highly recommended!

    Reverence and levity
Laura has done us all a big favor sharing her podcast now via the typical podcast platforms. Her previous work via radio and web archive has been a fave of mine for a few years now. So I’m delighted to see her expand in this way. And what a gift she’s been given in the timing of her effort with two surprise releases from the man himself. She may have gotten more than she bargained for with such added pressure of the puzzling new material, it’s timing, subject matter and place in history. But Laura has risen to the challenge. What I’ve always loved about her work is her serious reverence for Dylan and deep understanding of the weight of the subject while delivering it with levity knowing how absurd it all may seem especially to the artist she’s so desperately trying to help us know. Thanks Laura!
