APF215Please listen!!!A true lifeline during a really really hard breakup a few years ago. Please listen and heal 🫶🏼I’m rooting for you all and it WILL get better

hideccaExactly what I’ve neededThank you so much for this podcast. For months now I have been going through so many thoughts about my relationship and whether this is the right one for me. It’s been so hard to navigate the pain, sadness, indecisiveness, guilt over breaking a heart. Today I found the show and I’ve listened to 5 episodes and it just helped make things so much more clear in my mind. It’s also helped me realize that I am not alone. So thank you.
-
KatherineRoseWollerHonest, compassionate, and insightfulObsessed with the honest, compassionate, and insightful conversations for all parts of the heartbreak journey. A must-listen for anyone on a path of healing.

no open office layoutsA Helpful ResourceI’m only a couple episodes in and I have a bunch more saved! A very helpful resource when going through heartbreak. And lots of diverse topics for different situations and phases of the process.
-
Yoipod4yBBThank you Kendra!!This podcast is a soothing balm for anyone going through a break up: situationships, ex partners or divorce, what matters is how much they meant to you. She provides so many tools to practice and tailor to your life and needs. My only feedback is to add a musical or other sound separation in the commercial breaks. I would love if you can invite a sex therapist to talk about sex life after heartbreak and options such as celibacy vs casual hookups and how they affect the break up. Thank you !!
-
Rabiosa RockerA must listen for the heartbroken! My last breakup was over 5 years and ago and now I’m in a new and wonderful relationship. Still I love this podcast bc it’s helps me recover from the sadness of previous breakups. Definitely recommend to anybody struggling to move on, no matter how long ago your last breakup was. 🥹💙

Kaylobrien2310/10This podcast has helped me tremendously through my break up. Kendra’s advice and the advice from her guests has been so beneficial. I am now 6 months post BU and can say that listening to this show was essential in my healing. I continue to share this pod with people who I know are going through similar experiences! Thank you Kendra for creating such valuable content!
-
KL_47Good and not so goodI like much of her content, particularly when she has guests on. What I don’t like is that she makes broad generalizations about people’s perspectives based on how she handled relationships and breakups. She assumes everyone handles breakups the way she did but there are many of us that are more secure than that. Not all of us have the insecure attachment style that you project. I do like her as a person and I think some of her content is really good.
-
fhb2019I want to love thisI think she is fantastic but there are too many commercials in the middle of the episodes. It is disruptive.
-
jordanfaith17Love love this pod 🩵Kendra is so vulnerable and connects so authentically to her guests. Also has amazing, knowledgeable experts on. Kendra herself also has so much insight. I’m so thankful for this pod each week!!
-
Lucy M.PDefinitely listen if you’re going through a break-upWhat I love about this podcast is how supportive, insightful, and tangible this podcast is. It’s a balm for the soul and you can actually apply the tools that Kendra and the guests discuss. So helpful <3

Rayna-MarieHeal your heart breakI love this podcast so much and it gives me advice about how to heal from a break up. I am going through a break up four months ago and I realized that I need more help of healing process. I’m grateful for this podcast because it teaches me how to be ok with myself even though I am not okay. So thank you!
-
LizBSW76Love your podcast!I am so over my breakup (thanks to your help) but I fell in love with your podcast. It truly feels like you’re a best friend. One of my favorites is episode 102 with Danielle. I would love to hear from her again!
-
AlesalaniMy favorite podcastDear K, I have listened to you for the last 8 months. The episodes that have resonated the most with me recently are #42 and #76. At this point I have your selections on “unplayed” because I’ve listened to most of your shows. By far…your podcast has been THE MOST HELPFUL!! Believe me, I listen to so many and was feeling so lost and needed a solid voice of continuity and yours has been the best. Truly, I thank you with all of me. It’s been a long road for me to realize and recognize what happened to me in my last relationship. From the loss of three pregnancies to waiting for 4 years for my ex to get his divorce. The trauma and roller coaster was heartbreaking. My ex moved on within a month of our last miscarriage and breakup. So, healing has been paramount and your podcast has helped me immensely. Big hugs and hearts to you.

Roxysrf21Loved the D episode. As someone who has been contemplating it for many many years. This episode was definitely very much needed to hear. Thank you for having her on.
-
Conn MelGhostedI had and listen to the podcast for a little bit in the first episode that popped up with ghosted. It really helped i was in a relationship for a few months and I appreciated the comment of regardless if it’s been one month or years it’s hurtful. It was so validating. The other part to this was that he did a lot of love bombing right from the beginning. Maybe there’s episode for this too. Thank you
-
The Journey Itself is HomeGrateful for this podcastThis podcast has helped me so much to get through heartbreak and come out the other side stronger, more clear, and more rooted in myself. Going through a break up can be such a lonely and painful process, but Kendra really does feel like your bestie, coaching you through it. There’s an episode for every aspect of heartbreak and healing. Just put on an episode and go for a walk. Every time you feel wobbly or unsure of yourself, keep listening, keep getting support, keep choosing you. You can’t go wrong when you choose your peace.
-
ajcampagGreat podcastI am so grateful for this podcast. I went through a breakup about 8 months ago and this really helped me get through the major grieving stage. It helped me to understand things I need to do for self-improvement purposes and green flags that I should be looking for in a healthy relationship. When I am having an unexpected day of sadness or having random memories from my last relationship, I play an episode and it helps me to navigate these feelings. If you are going through a breakup, listen to this podcast.

BlondieB22Never alone!Seriously- one of the best treasures I found during a really tough breakup.

burshaniVery helpfulVery grateful to have found this episode, a lot I needed to hear at this time in my life. I appreciate you guys !!

Coooooooooool123Superiority Complex… episode #181I’ve listened to this podcast quite a bit and some episodes have been helpful but have always been annoyed how when she talks about her husband/marriage it seems like she thinks she’s kinda above the rest of us. Like oh you poor things need help to get to get over your ex and get to be like me someday. The number of times she mentions her marriage is insane. Like a girl who is obsessed with their boyfriend and can’t stop talking about him to the point where everyone notices it and is annoyed. BUT THEN after listening to episode #181 with Anna Kai and hearing them BOTH do it- yikes. Like ok, we all get it- you’re married now.
-
Kt1236474So helpfulThank you so much. I can’t express how much this helped me get through a really tough break up. Thank you!!
-
Frustrated9876ClichesAll the feedback are cliches. What’s original? also, anytime I hear someone mention that we learn from the relationship and to be better in the next one, makes me cringe so much. This is all so formulaic and devoid of depth. Are people really just used to look out for themselves. I’ve heard the comment about learn from the relationship to do better in the next relationship, and all 3 of those people were emotionally abusive. Glad they got to gaslight me and move on to greener pastures for themselves.
-
Rox42490Super helpful perspective and infoI started listening the day I got broken up with and it has helped so much already
-
GoobermouthHelping me through a break upLove this podcast. My favorite episodes are when you bring professionals to talk about a topic. My only feedback is the advertising in the middle of an episode. It’s annoying to have to skip through 10 minutes of promotional content. 1-2 minutes, sure. But 10 minutes??? Ugh
-
JJRR00Good but …Please stop saying “like” multiple times every sentence
-
GiononnaMy Dearest BBF Kendra!Best most supportive podcast. Just what I’ve needed through out every step of life’s breakups from dating, family and friends. Kendra, a heartfelt thank you for covering a tropic that can be soooo taboo, confusing and devastating with such depth and compassion. Guilty truth, when I go to bed I listen to your podcast through a sleep mask, when my mind starts spinning I refocus on your voice. “Oh there’s my Bestie!” When I start to think of making contact “There’s my Bestie!” Thank you! Thank you…Kendra! 🥰
-
saaaabsssincredible insightI will preface this by saying I have only listen to two episodes so far, 171 & 166, and simply listening to the stories has made me feel so empowered. I was blindsided by my break-up 1 day ago after 5 years of being together, 2.5 years of living together and raising a dog and while I have my break downs, conversations and this podcast has made me really excited for my personal growth/journey and future.
-
Anonymous2 for nowMy dailySo my new daily is to start listening to you when I feel down. I search for the topic on your podcast that I am feeling at that moment and I am lifted. It’s been almost 3 months since I ended my toxic relationship and although I’m getting stronger, it’s a daily roller coaster of emotions. You have given me book references and I even hired a former guest of yours Alex Doss to try to bring myself back from this deep abyss. Thank you for being there. I feel like I have a best friend.
-
AnonymousAndrewPodcastAs a fellow pdcasterBreakup Bestie, you are the bestie! You helped me get through my worst and last breakup! Inspired me to start my podcast. (AnonymousAndrew Life

centralOR“Like”Too many LIKES in her sentences! “Everything happens for a reason”?!?! No way. Super dismissive saying and ridiculously untrue.
-
Chop GirlIf they wanted to they wouldIt’s true that it was honestly more painful hearing and seeing people’s reactions to my breakup especially because I’m older like he was my one shot at having a good life. Just horrible. The limited capacity is absolutely true in my case with a man with a serious drinking problem. He released me from the constant turmoil because he still has no intention on getting help. Your content is absolutely amazing 😉 & has helped me find peace with myself and love life again, Thank you so much 💕💕💕
-
cmossparkIncredibly Helpful and EmpoweringI can honestly say that this podcast is one of the top 5 things that have helped me heal from my breakup this past year. I was with my ex for about 4.5 years (lived together for 3), and when we decided to part ways, I was completely devastated, heartbroken, and lost. I couldn’t listen to music for a few months afterwards, because it just made me too emotional, so I started listening to podcasts whenever I was driving or getting ready, and once I found Kendra’s podcast, it became my go-to. It was such a comfort for me during times of experiencing intense emotions or anxious thoughts surrounding my heartache, because Kendra gives such great, practical advice and constant hopeful reminders. She doesn’t “sugar coat” things, but everything she shares is so comforting and encouraging to someone going through heartbreak. I have recommended/shared this podcast with multiple friends going through similar situations, because it truly has been one of the most helpful things in my healing journey. I HIGHLY recommend it if you’re going through a breakup of any kind. Thank you for what you do, Kendra! ❤️
-
EldaRosalesSo helpful!I found this podcast after a breakup of a 22 yr relationship. I have continued to listen because it has so much information on how to navigate relationships. I have since had a breakup with a 22 yr old and break up bestie has taught me how to deal with breakups and also how to be open to love. I recommend this podcast to everyone I know.
-
NJFinancieraBreakup CompanionSo happy to have this podcast as my breakup companion while I am getting through these tough initial days. Kendra Is so comforting and I can real time relate to so many of the topics she covers in each episode? they all accurately touch on the real-time phase I am going through. I so appreciate this as I am a single female now living on my own again, I can’t have my therapist on call 24/7 and my family lives about an hour away, so being able to listen in at anytime is so healing for my heart in this time ❤️🩹.
-
Rozen614She really is your breakup bestieKendra has this very gentle, beautiful way of looking into your wounds and handling them with such care and love. I cried on the episode of cutting yourself some slack while driving home in the car because I realized just how hard I was being on myself in trying to get over heartbreak as quickly and efficiently as possible but she gently lets you realize that emotions just don’t operate that way. I’m so lucky to have Kendra to provide such pearls of wisdom as a soldier of heartbreak herself. You inspire me to realize you can be strong and soft and human and warrior and loving and fearless all at once.
-
Shannon Dinsmorethis podcast is my breakup bestiei'm obsessed w this podcast. I'm on month 3 post breakup and this podcast has been such a gam changer for me. podcast lover 19Literally my breakup bestieI found this podcast immediately after experiencing a painful breakup and all I can say is THANK GOD. While everyone’s breakup stories are different, this podcast showed me that the feeling of heartbreak and the ebbs and flows of healing from heartbreak are universal. I truly felt comforted by Kendra’s words and supported by the fact that other listeners were sharing similar experiences. I’m in a new (happy and healthy!) relationship now, and still enjoy listening. You WILL heal from your heartbreak, and taking Kendra’s recommendations seriously will help to get you there.
-
kmaynaslundJust what I neededAlready love this, after just one episode. It’s exactly what I’ve needed since I was blindsided by a breakup 7 weeks ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this podcast.
-
shainamoniqueBest episode thus far ! #135I appreciate all of these episodes and ever since my breakup they have all truly helped me work towards my breakthrough and growth in different ways , but this one takes the cake . You should definitely make this a series , or a weekly thing because these are amazing . Hearing from you and your motivation to move forward is one thing , but to top it off with motivation from others currently going through the same exact process as you is amazing I have literally found myself replaying this episode when I have moments of sadness while thinking about my ex . I instantly snap back to reality! Thank you Kendra and to all the others who have shared their experiences. We are all in this together 💕
-
LCH&HGreat show - highly recommend!!I’ve only listened to a few episodes but each one was really insightful and I already feel so much better about myself and my choice to end a bad relationship.
-
kkayyyxoOne of the only things getting me through my break up!Honestly I’ve never listened to podcasts before and I decided to try and start one to help with my healing journey after a painful break up. I couldn’t believe how life changing it was from the first episode! It’s helped me sooo much!!! I usually listen to at least one episode a day now and it puts me in the right mindset. I highly recommend to anyone going through a break up or divorce. I’m also planning to get the workbook she just released.
-
SuedeShoesGreat energy and conversationsKendra brings on guests that she can have real heart-to-hearts with. The conversations they have are so insightful and relatable at any stage of life!
-
RealtyWiseIn pain right now…Im 52 and my new boyfriend of 3mo who checked off nearly all the boxes abruptly broke up with me through text. I’ve been doing personal development for 4 years now and thought I’d vetted him well and did all the right things. I found this podcast in a divine moment and it saved and lifted me, like a flotation device in a nautical distaster. Being older and experienced in life I didn’t think a young woman’s advice would match my needs so thank you and keep up the great work.
-
bfosterrrrrrrSuper helpfulLove this podcast. Everything she talks about is so relatable and is helpful for anyone going through a hard time!
-
LucktutTHE best podcast after a breakupTruly, I can’t say enough good things about Kendra and this podcast. I’ve recommended it to multiple friends also going through breakups in the past year. They’ve all agreed that it’s the most levelheaded, compassionate, healing show to listen to while going through the worst time.
