I may be biased because I host the show, but I give this podcast 5 stars!

    Coats of skins
I’m only on episode two but I’m already finding myself cackling along with these guys. “God made coats of skins, and clothed them.” —thinking it meant Adam and Eve were previously skinless in the Garden of Eden. I’ll never get that image out of my head!!!! On a serious note, I’ve been looking for some type of audiobook/show/podcast/etc. that I could listen to and learn more about the Bible for a very long time. I didn’t want a dry, dull reading of it. (Woof!) And, reading it all by myself would actually make me want to rip my own coat of skin off. I am a devout Athiest, but have always been intrigued about the stories in the Bible from a fictional literature point of view. This podcast is scratching that itch for me. Thank you to the Alarmist podcast (dinosaurs episode) for the introduction.

    Salvation!
Robert and his special guest Dan are doing God’s work. Sometimes even when the stories in the bible are a 2 or 3, the Bros come in with 5 star energy.

They have a lot of the same questions that I’ve had
I found this podcast a few months ago and waited until I had heard all of it to rate. Having been raised in the church as a pastor’s kid, it’s very interesting to hear others have the same questions and curiosities about the Bible as I have had my whole life. It’s approached with humor, but they get deep when they need to and it’s helpful to hear their thought process develop. Great show, can’t wait for more.

Why did I wait 125 to write a review?
After laughing loudly multiple times, in a borderline maniacal way during episode 125 I am finally taking a moment to write a review. I’m hooked as heck on this podcast. I have blown through all of these episodes in just a couple of weeks and I am so sad that I’m catching up to real-time and won’t be able to binge anymore. Robert and Dan have the best banter. I could listen to them discuss anything (and often I get to, right here on the pod). Despite any silliness I’ve learned a lot about the Bible and life in general from listening! I have never had a bad time, including the episode where Dan is talking to the Ghost of Robert when they lost Dan’s side of the recording. Hilarious. Amazing. Cooper Peltz, their blessed producer, deserves his own ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So in conclusion- listen, laugh, maybe learn 2-3 facts about the Bible OR about Nintendo games… or their children or being a TV writer or a myriad of other things!!

    A miracle
Wow, I was listening to an old episode and the brothers said that they had just passed 100 reviews but wanted to get it to 200 as fast as possible, and I went on iTunes and there were 199 reviews! This seems like a real miracle and my belief in God has been fortified by this podcast even if it's not really anything Dan or Robert did intentionally. But the Lord works in mysterious ways, which is also something from the Bible, I think. Anyway listen to this podcast, it’s great even if you don't believe in God. Or, i assume it would be, I can’t speak for nonbelievers now that this iTunes review thing happened

    #1 Religious Podcast
I heard about Bible Brothers from Dan's interview on the I Said No Gifts Podcast, and was immediately intrigued. I was raised Christian, but never believed, not even as a little kid. I had no interest in going anywhere near the Bible again. Lo and behold, here I am in deep Exodus and it's been such a surprisingly nostalgic and delightfully cathartic way to revisit the Bible. It's so quirky and irreverent, but in such an innocent and good-natured way that I think it would be inoffensive, even fun, for all but the super crazy nutzo religious. Approaching the Bible from a comedy writer perspective is so brilliant and is made even funnier by how little these guys actually knew about the Bible going in. Don't stop! I'm hooked.

    Fun Podcast
Great podcast. I do wish the hosts would pay a bit more attention to what they are reading and keep better track of the material. Some of their confusion would be addressed if they paid more attention. Still it is a lot of fun.

    So Much Fun
Heard the host on I Said No Gifts podcast. Began listening yesterday and enjoying every minute. Thank you!

    My new favorite.
These guys are absolutely hilarious. As someone who was forced to read and try to learn the Bible, the way they try and understand and interpret the craziness is so relatable. They managed to make the Bible seem actually interesting and fun. I love how they take devoutness out of the equation and just read the Bible as if it was any other book, I think by doing that they are able to have a comedy podcast about the Bible without being disrespectful to those who follow it.

Best comedy bible comedy podcast out there!
This is the podcast I recommend to anyone who will listen. You may think the Bible sounds boring… especially if you grew up going to catholic school like me… but guess what?! Dan and Robert reveal that the Bible is absolutely hilarious! (Or maybe it’s just their take?) FIVE STARS!

    Daily dose of humor
I literally listen to Bible Brothers every day. Binge listening has been great. Once I got to episode 102 when Robert sings Moses’s song, I was like—let me cross over to Apple Podcasts (bc I listen on Google Podcasts)—and leave these guys a review because they are so good and I was dying laughing. Robert, Dan, and Cooper are pure podcast magic.

    Rob & Dan & Cooper, 5 stars
Nothing says, “This will help you with your religious deconstruction” quite like two writers who have never read the Bible *literally* reading the Bible, cover to cover. This is a perspective I didn’t know I needed, so thank you BB.
  • timesabillion
    I love you, brothers
I hope it’s not too forward of me to say so. Coincidence. Bop it. That’s meat. Anything you guys want.

    Hilarious and Irreverent!
I love this Podcast! I often laugh out loud when listening to these guys, who read and discuss and make fun of the Old Testament, pointing out how stupid and ridiculous it is. Bible class was not like this in Hebrew School! The Bible, by the way, is horrible!

    Perfect online timepass
The Bible Brothers helped me survive 12 days of indoor isolation when my spouse had COVID. I blazed through the Pentateuch episodes to get caught up. It’s hard to only have one episode a week now, but I am locked in for the whole Bible and will never turn away.

    Good Podcast
These guys combine humor with an earnest reading of the Bible. It’s fun to listen to their reactions to some of the confusing or inexplicable stories in the Bible. Fun and informative!
  • Rosie207
    Funny
This is a funny podcast and great to hear their first reaction as people who have never read it before. I’m not too into when they have a guest as they seem to be carrying other thoughts like the hurt they went through or their biases. If they want to get into where things are coming from in the original language or context they can listen to the Bible project podcast. All in all a great podcast ! But they haven’t posted in like 2 weeks. I’m hoping it’s just a break and they come back! 💕

    Crushed Beeves
I’ve read pretty long swathes of the Bible but always had similar internal thoughts of what the heck is this saying, so never quite read it all the way through. Luckily now I can just listen to it. Every part. Nice
