Beth Golding HomesHello Someday PodcastI love this podcast. No one has ever made sobriety look so darned good! I will keep listening!
-
Jennifer W. PhillipsSelf-careThese podcasts are practical and inspiring. The message really hits home that the key to success is lowering the bar with obligations that may trigger drinking . I get it now that self-care is necessary. Be easy on yourself!

Allison721Amazing !Such an amazing podcast! Casey’s honesty is so refreshing and helpful! Can’t recommend enough!!

Amoore199999Hello Someday! It’s today!Casey’s podcast is wonderful. She has great guests, asks super insightful questions, and is just so dang authentic. I never feel preached at, or scolded. Her message is so positive and ultimately about self-kindness. Highly recommend.
-
Mama in SFInsightful podcast - highly recommend!I highly recommend this podcast! Casey has very interesting and helpful conversations with amazing guests. I also really appreciate how she makes being alcohol free a positive thing, without stigma. She is at the forefront of a very important and much needed movement to change our culture that has been obsessed with alcohol.
-
LAURACL22Amazing!I love the podcasts. I can go back and listen again, take my own notes and embrace the motivation! I am at 137 days of sobriety and Casey has been awesome sharing and supporting!!

Cindy D DGood content, very poor audio qualityI wanted to listen to the most recent episode about reparenting but the audio was unbearable! The guest was mostly understandable but Casey was so muffled I could barely understand her. The whole thing was so frustration I just quit. I was walking, had downloaded the podcast on my iPhone and was listening on my AirPods. Equipment was not the issue.
-
Club MuchachaRegular listener!I love this podcast, love Casey and her honesty! I recently listened to the social media/anxiety episode and it HIT! As someone who is sober, and also in CBT therapy for anxiety and health anxiety, a lot of these themes resonated. Tolerating the discomfort of anxiety taught me to tolerate the anxiety of not drinking! Also, digital overuse is top of my mind for me these days!
-
Jalene723So IdentifiableI love this podcast. Casey is so easy to identify with and makes you feel like real friends!!

61liveHuge Motivation! As many of us can attest to, this is not my first time trying to stop or moderate my drinking. Having sober podcasts has been a huge daily help to me this time and this is the one I listen to the most. I appreciate Casey bringing on so many guest speakers, them sharing their journey as well as Casey sharing her own. Getting through my first 30 days was easy in comparison to other attempts with Casey’s tips! Highly recommend!!! 🥰I’m at 51 days and going for 100 plus!

HinsonMan FriendlyDon’t really even remember how I came across this podcast. At first, I felt a little uncomfortable because I felt like it was a podcast strictly for women. I don’t know if I’m the only man on the planet that listens to this podcast, but even if I am, I don’t care. It has really resonated with me and helped me, especially during the early phases of my sobriety.

!!Lili!!Game changerI am so glad I came across Casey and the Hello Someday podcast. She has helped me through early sobriety more than I thought I would need. She has led me to some other great podcasts and lots of quit lit books. I love her refreshing, realistic take on sobriety and the struggles to get and stay sober. I am on Day 32🌼 and I thank Casey as I think she really helped me get here and has helped me believe I can continue. Don’t stop Casey, we are listening!
-
slowlosowlosThank you for what you do!I realized alcohol wasn’t serving me and began to start a search in the spring of 2023 for ways to help change my drinking habits and came across the hello someday website and the 30 day guide to becoming sober. I also began listening to some of the podcasts which I found very informative. I love Casey’s interviews and every episode hits on a topic that I’m curious about and more. I love her guests. It’s through the podcast that I found Annie Grace and her free 30 day alcohol experiment that has led me to be 136 days sober. I also found my favorite NA beer after listening to Casey’s interview with the founder of Athletic Brewing and I was prepared to live alcohol free through my first holiday season. I also have learned tools to deal with stress and anxiety in a healthy way by listening to her interviews about yoga, breath work, essential oils and more! I never thought I was at rock bottom or considered myself an alcoholic by society’s standards but I knew alcohol was not making me feel good and had more control of me than I had of it and I’m so happy I found Casey and her podcast to show me how to change my relationship with alcohol and begin a life without the guilt, shame and regret that was coming with drinking. Thank you Casey!

scarlethawk5This is your sign! When you need to “feel heard” when you’re struggling with booze (or trying to stay sober)… listen to this podcast. When you’re looking for that, “Shoot it to me straight” kind of friend as you question your relationship with alcohol (or sanity during early sobriety, or recognition during long term recovery)… listen to this podcast. When you’re yearning for tips, tricks, recommendations, and advice from that “big sister” who has walked the sober path before you… listen to this podcast. When you just need that weekly pick-me-up to keep m you on track and help you reach/maintain your goals of a beautiful, sober life… LISTEN. TO. THIS. PODCAST. Casey is such a breath of fresh air (and the kind of sober bestie we all need in real life… at the tap of your finger.)
-
AlexKerrThe best podcastI love Casey’s expertise, her accessible information and the amazing guests she lands. For a podcast about going alcohol free, which may seem narrow, she is able to surprise me week after week with a new topic or a new way at approaching a topic. If I’m feeling a particular way, I can always find an episode of Hello Someday that meets me where I am. Her no nonsense approach is endearing, she’s like a sister or a bff. Highly recommend!
-
SobermmrnOnly one suggestion4 stars for the amazing guests and Casey’s interview skills. However, please limit or stop the F bombs. I notice that very few of the guests drop F bombs and seem to hesitate a little when Casey frequently uses them.

Cara BuzziHear me out on this…This podcast has been such a HUGE help in my journey to freedom from alcohol. I have come to think of Casey as an older sister, holding my hand and guiding me towards a life of true joy and peace. I just want to offer one piece of feedback that I hope isn’t taken as being rude. I don’t think Casey realizes how often she interrupts guests. It’s a little jarring to listen to, and although I absolutely love guest episodes and feel that she is very intentional and thoughtful with her guest choices (fantastic guests, seriously!) it’s a little awkward to listen to them get cut off midsentence and it has happened on quite a few guest episodes. Maybe, possibly something to reflect on? Anyways! Please don’t let that be the reason you don’t listen if you are sober curious, because this podcast really is a game changer. Thank you so much for the value you give us, Casey.

MsingerssThe Hidden Jewel of Sober Podcasts/A MUST LISTEN TO for High Functioning, Working MomsYour podcast was one of the first I found on my sober journey and the only podcast I have returned to over and over again over these last six months. Certain episodes (Why High-Achieving Women Struggle to Set Boundaries, The Advertising of Alcohol to Women, People Pleasing and Over Drinking, Wine Mom Culture, Is Work Driving You to Drink, and Overcoming Perfectionism...just to name a few) have played a pivotal role on my journey, and I am POSITIVE that a large part of the reason I recently felt brave enough to leave my high-powered job was due to your story and the stories told be so many strong, creative, open-minded female guests you HAVE had on your show. One podcast episode (I believe it was Identity-Based Habits, but I could be wrong) really struck a chord with me because it got me thinking deeply about my truest values and how my work-life balance was in complete discordance with those values. Now I am finally taking care of myself and my family in a way that feels healthy, honest, and in line with the things I care the most about. It's such an incredible relief--and I never, ever, in a million years, would have made both of these huge life changes if it weren't for inspirational women such as yourself who set the course well before me. :) I also wanted to thank you for your episode on why you do not identify as an alcoholic. I feel EXACTLY the same way as you. I have thought so long and hard about this label, the stigma, the reality of my situation, and the gray area drinking I have been battling for years, and while I absolutely know that I was addicted to alcohol, for all the reasons you stated SO eloquently in your podcast, I am with you: I identify as a non-drinker. :) Finally, your most recent episode, the conversation with your daughter Lila, was perhaps the greatest podcast episode I have ever listened to. Literally last night I was talking to my husband about what we will tell my 7-year-old twin daughters about drinking as they grow up. This episode was so beautiful (clearly, you have such a special, trusting, and super honest and nurturing relationship with Lila -- she is so bright and incredibly well spoken and obviously your biggest fan!). It put my mind at ease hearing how openly and honestly you two can discuss drinking. My husband is also a "normie" who can imbibe one or two beers once in a while with no problem, but I am very anxious that my girls have inherited my genes and tendencies. Like you, I agree that it's ridiculous to think my children will never drink, but I have struggled with the big question of what and when to tell the girls about my years-long struggle with wine. Your episode gave me such hope and inspiration, and it just warmed my heart to hear your daughter talk so eloquently about a topic that you obviously have educated her so well on. Thank you a million times over for recording such a bold, honest, and refreshing episode. I have never heard anything like it, and it was exactly what I needed to hear today...and I will save it because I know over the years I will need to listen to it as a refresher! You are the best. Please keep doing everything you are doing. We so need women like you to keep raising your voices and eliminating the stigma. :)

DallasJGVCasey is the best!I was struggling with my life and saw Casey’s happy face and the title of her podcast, Hello Someday grabbed my attention. I wanted someday to be in a different spot than I was at the time. Drinking had become something I wanted to be rid of but couldn’t seem to let go of. I am a physician and needed to hear the experts, with the science and all the things to educate myself about alcohol and its risks. I am also an “old” mom , to twins no less, and had a lot of stress related to parenting, but was ashamed to talk about how my drinking evolved in order to deal with things kid related. I felt alone and isolated…until I found Casey! She is the best. She is relatable, honest, funny and has the best guests to discuss drinking and every arena in our lives it touches. I have binged not only her podcast, but found others through listening so that now I have daily support from so many people, whom I have never even met but they have taught me so much. I am forever grateful. Love to you Casey! Jennifer

hobomanAbsolutely exceptional podcast 🌟I stumbled upon this gem while searching for resources on alcohol-free living, and the refreshing perspective was such a welcome companion along the way. I love how they tackle topics like drinking culture in a variety of scenarios like workplace or vacation and how we might navigate through. Thanks for being a supportive and informative guide to living life to the fullest, without the need for alcohol.

Graceviolinrocks!!gvrThe Podcast I’m Always RecommendingHello Someday is the podcast that has helped me the most in my journey to stop drinking. Casey is relatable, positive and real. She brings in great guests and explores a variety of topics for women who experience problematic drinking. The variety includes something for people considering stopping, the newly sober, and people who’ve been at it awhile. The podcast is funny, supportive, and makes you feel like you’re talking with a friend.

jillluvConnected on so many levels!I was so happy to have found Casey and listen to her podcasts. I’ve been working on ways to begin my journey in getting sober, I myself also being a red wine girl for many years, I found that I could relate on so many levels and understand what Casey speaks about with her guests. The emotions your mind and body go through it’s hard to process on your own. I’m happy to say I’ve started my journey with sober October , my husband also joining me! ❤️

Home - Phil PhilBreaking up with alcoholLove this episode! It really resonates with me - especially the part about not living up to our full potential while drinking. So…. At 48:22 Amanda (I think) says “ Sobriety is keeping you with this imposter syndrome….” PLEASE tell me she meant to say “ Alcohol is keeping us with this imposter syndrome”?! Otherwise I’m confused!
-
Heidi in MaineNot an alcoholicI can’t love that pod cast enough!! I have only said maybe I’m an alcoholic once on day 1, because I didn’t know there were other options. I loved the I don’t say alcoholic podcast on so many levels, because I will never say I’m an alcoholic again. I say I don’t drink anymore, I’m sober and feel better than I have in 25 years! Thank you SO MUCH for what you do 🥰 Heidi

JLR HarrietSo real, so usable, SO helpful! Thank you Casey!I have been listening to Hello Someday for over a year as I’ve been sober curious. Casey always seems to have the topics that are on my mind, and she relates everything to being a busy mom. It’s so amazing to have someone who understands where I’m coming from and always serves up something I can use. I’m on Day 11 today and it feels like this might really be the time that I’m “done”! Casey is a great interviewer and feels like a good mom friend, showing me how awesome sobriety can be.
-
DoriskipperSo much helpful infoI found Casey's podcast during my first 30 days of what is now approaching 600. Her honesty and relatability was exactly what I needed. I continue to tune in and listen as I always get something out of her episodes. Big fan!!

Kristin 1981Very empoweringThis podcast has helped me reach 100 days alcohol free. But even more importantly, listening has helped me change my mindset towards my daily drinking habit. Casey is so relatable and really helps you understand why we drink and what life can be like when you choose better for yourself. I feel empowered to continue alcohol free life, and no longer even want to moderate. If you are questioning your relationship with alcohol, give it a listen!

CoopjackmommyCasey is the Sober BFF you’ve been looking for!I found the Hello Someday podcast just a few weeks into making the decision to embark on an alcohol-free journey and it has since turned into a weekly ray of sunshine that I look forward to tuning into. Casey demonstrates that a life without alcohol is FUN, rewarding beyond measure, and a choice you will not regret. She speaks to both the obstacles and the joys that sobriety brings; She’s contributing to the desperately needed normalization of sobriety, touting that tee-totaling is way easier than moderation (couldn’t agree more), speaking directly to us “gray area” drinkers, and reinforcing that you don’t need a “rock bottom” to decide to stop drinking. She provides a very optimistic and upbeat testimony to how rich and full life can be without alcohol. Thank you, Casey, for putting yourself out there and sharing this time with us! Cheers!
-
TommieLouThank you, Casey 💛Great content. Supportive AND informative. Not just fluff and not so scientific that it’s not relatable/applicable. Perfect balance of both. I’ve learned so much that has served me well in my early sober days. In response to a couple other reviews: of course she promotes her coaching products! Why would she not?! 🙂 She also offers a ton of free content (in addition to this podcast) that is incredibly supportive. Thank you, Casey!
-
DarthC64Not an alcoholicGreat episode. I no longer have a problem with alcohol because I no longer drink alcohol sums it up perfectly. 👍 Alcohol free for life. Thanks Casey. ❤️

mindful vetsA medical condition, not a personal traitI loved the recent episode about why Casey doesn’t use the word alcoholic. Thank you for putting yourself out there! And offering a well informed, well thought out, and fantastically articulated alternative to what is typically offered!
