    Fascinating and inspiring! UPDATED 2022
UPDATE: Since Mike Senior handed over the hosting reigns, the podcast has become less focused and helpful. The sound examples are less practical, and usually accompanied by the host reading a long list of settings he used, which mean nothing to someone listening. The whole thing feels meandering and a waste of time. Sad to see this one drop in quality this way. Original Review Below: If you are looking for a way to get your educational fix while on the road (like myself), you can do no better than this wonderful podcast. Each episode is a streamlined DEEP dive into its subject matter, leaving you with a detailed understanding of everything from the specifics of snare compression to the proper delay times of a Haas delay. Mike's characteristic use of helpful sound examples illustrate each of his points brilliantly. As many others before me have said, my only criticism is I want MORE!! Keep up the awesome, exceptionally generous work SOS!

    Such a great vibe
This is a fantastic podcast that gets right to the point and uses excellent examples. Although a lot of this information is more suited for beginners, there is useful information for everyone. Plus it’s actually pretty entertaining for music nerds to nerd out. I really enjoy this podcast! Well done.

    Perfect for beginners
Great podcast for listening while driving or working. The mindful production of just being able to listen vs needing to see visual samples while listening to a YouTube video is brilliant

    Great Podcast
Very informative podcast that gets right to the point with clear audio examples and explanations. Mike Senior is great and looking forward to more of these. Thank you!

    I dug it!
I thought I knew everything about compression, but, Mike still managed to teach me a thing or two and give me something to think about and try on a future mix. I look forward to this series.

    Informative and Engaging
Great idea for a podcast! Listened to the Snare episode and Mike did such a great job of explaining everything; introduced several new ideas for me to think about Snare in different ways; and the podcast production is top notch, crystal clear, fantastic.
