MuttervonhenryJoy in MedicineThank you for this amazing show. It is informative, fascinating, and the stories really help me remember the key points (Feeding a subject 125-250 tabs of sodium bicarb -ouch!) You bring back the joy in medicine!!
-
GillFriedSo fun!I am a mid-career medical executive (psychiatry background). What a fun way to explore questions I never learned in medical school, and refresh my basic internal medicine knowledge at the same time. A course always feels like a “chore” — but this podcast is fresh and fun.

MrsbozeLove this podcastLove the podcast music- it makes me smile and want to dance and be jolly 😊.. but I also love how you guys present information. I love that you admit you don’t know everything… and you all seem to have a great chemistry and are funny which makes learning that much more fun. Every time I listen I always think.. I need to let them know how much I enjoy their show and to please never change that intro music- it’s the best!!
-
double puppyGreat showsI love how you guys come up with answers on why we do do the things we do. So often there are things we do because that is what we were taught but we don’t understand the why. Like in this last episode on steroids and edema in the brain.

thrashloversAlpha Gal Episode- thank you!I live in the northeast, but did live in NC and FL. Had hives, GI, swelling, heart racing for 10+ years. Doctors said it was stress. Found out last year -from Mayo Clinic website- it’s alpha gal. It’s nit just red meat/ carrageenan too.

CM in CaliforniaCringeI stopped listening to the Curbsiders due to their endless cringy dialogue and the variable quality of their guests. This show is interesting at times, but the annoying “we are funny people” puns limit the topics I am willing to endure. ED and critical care podcasts are not plagued by annoying hosts, why is IM this way?

Dhhdfsehnicdrutenjiwdhjihelps satisfy my curious nature about thingsThis podcast is informative and humorous. But mostly it helps satisfy my curious nature about things 🧐🔍🦠🧫🔬🧠👣👅🫁🫀🦿 I was surprised to see medical providers can earn AMA CE credits. OT also needs a similar no-cost, convenient, AOTA/NBCOT-approved way to earn even a few CEU’s. And if it were as entertaining as this pod 👌 *update: after a closer look at the Curious Clinicians wed site episode on my laptop, the VCA Health search engine wasn’t able to find any OT accreditation body approved Curious Clinicians podcasts for CEU. That’s okay, I’ll continue to enjoy the pods.

WoodworkerAbbyGreat podcastI am not a medical professional but I greatly enjoy this podcast. The subject matter is often over my head, but I enjoy it nonetheless. The hosts are relatable and entertaining.
-
Tom dashThank youI love this podcast. As a former internist and rheumatologist working to diagnose mysterious and systemic illnesses in people, as someone who began her career as a young doc in the mid-80s taking care of patients with baffling signs and symptoms of newly-emerging AIDS/HIV, and as a clinician who for years worked as a senior diagnostic consultant for a large healthcare organization, I am happy to stumble onto this thoughtful, smart, humble and entertaining discussion of embodied life. Thank you. Kate Scannell (MD)

anaspring19Great podcast!Having such a pleasure listening to your podcast, learning many new things, and enjoying brilliant interactions of 3 intelligent, witty, and comradery clinicians! Thank you so much for all the work you do!
-
Chjjdhu jdjdhjdjdjdjdjLove this PodcastI absolutely love this podcast. There are many curious findings in medicine that we forgot to ask why? The nature of this group curiosity and going back to research from the beginning of its history is the best

Barryk108Favorite medical podcastI consume an absurd amount of medical podcasts and this is by far my favorite They ask questions that are so simple yet brilliant and answer them in brief through and funny ways I look forward to each new episode
-
SabbyReedLOVEI love this podcast. It asks all the fun “why” questions of medicine. They delve into things we just learn in med school/residency but may not explicitly ask why or how. Such a fun and easy listen while I’m doing house work.
-
what!??! why?Thank youLove this podcast!!! In a time when medical education is presumably all about memorizing, there are 3 brave clinicians that aren’t afraid to ask that dangerous question why!! Keep up the great podcast!!

vega-situEducational and entertaining 🤓I love listening to medical podcasts. Educational and entertaining that won’t bore you to death! I wish I have this resource while I was in nursing school and getting my BSN. The lessons would have made more sense!! 🧐

WesFNPFNPThese kind of Sherlock medical mysteries explained is partly why I got into medicine in the first place. Finally, a podcast on it! It’s like taking apart that plastic car, radio, watch, or whatever else as a kid we might have opened to see how it works. These short episodes get straight to the point in a “what’s under the hood “ fashion of all the common medical things we see in medicine. Excellent job people!
-
123alannaI dig it.MSN FNP student here, enjoy the bite sized episodes. Less than a minute into the first episode was an awful/wonderful pun, I love it.
