    Where is the podcast?
Long-time listener. Lately there is no podcast in Apple podcast or it shows up days late. What’s going on?

    Love Hugh Hewitt!
Morning Les a terrible now. I was with Bill Bennett and the High Hewitt. But new guy is not morning material. And not an intellectual.

    Where are you, Hugh?!
Longtime listener— I so appreciated how timely your commentary was throughout the wild ride of the election summer & fall, but since then, I am in withdrawal — the Highly Concentrated podcast is my go-to, just after X, for understanding the pulse of current & world events. Have a nice vacation and a wonderful Thanksgiving with the fetching Mrs Hewitt, but please get back to podcasts soon!

    Matt Gaetz
Hugh, considering the Gaetz track record for possible sex trafficking, and his role in unseating Kevin McCarthy, how can President Trump nominate Gaetz for Attorney General (with a straight face)?

    Hugh loves Ruthless
It’s called “Ruthless” because it’s funny that RBG is dead, ya see. That’s why it’s called that. Because it’s funny. Right? Remember Hugh loves to talk about God a lot. Hugh is also dishonest…Trump has never disavowed anything, so if Hugh says he has, he’s being dishonest.

I dont care if Christ himself returns on your radio show DO NOT publish the audio if your connection is this bad. A transcript will suffice :)

    Re: September 26th podcast
Just an aside here, Hugh… regarding that Stephanie R. question about the “special sauce, sesame seed bun…”: doesn’t anybody know that that was Burger King’s tagline? “Have it Your Way”… at Burger King not McDonald’s! Thank you, Hugh for your podcast. I’m a long time listener. Also love watching you on special report keep up the good work!

It used to be a good show.
Hugh used to be center-right, reasonable and factual. But the show has taken a wrong turn and pumps Trump and bashes all Dem’s. I’ve also noted Hugh has disappeared from shows like Washington Week … I tend to suspect shows are afraid he’s going to show up with Cat & Dog Sandwich lunacy. Bye Hugh, hope the $’s are worth the loss of your fans.

just started listening about a month or so ago & i absolutely love your podcast ! great guess, on top of everything going on around the world

    Used To Be Great
Hugh’s show used to be awesome. Now, it’s literally 10 minutes of political commentary (takes place between the 7 and 17 minute mark of the hour), followed by actual commercials, interspersed with paid testimonials from Hugh. Salem must really be hurting for money, because this never used to be the case. Very Disappointing.

I appreciate Hugh’s show, he’s succinct, he keeps to the topic and educates his listeners rather than telling them what to think. He has great guests too!

    Balanced, Insightful
I appreciate Hugh’s broad review each morning, sharing headlines from around the world- Info I would never get, on my own. He comes across balanced and even handed- when he has a bias, ie., “I used to work for Nixon”, he is up front w full disclosure. This podcast is a focal point in my efforts at staying informed on current events- and I am most grateful for the daily programming he offers. Applause…👏

    Throw back script
Vanilla boomer gen establishment Republican. Entertaining, good interviews, Hillsdale hour is the last segment Fridays and is very good. He was against Reagan before he was for him. Against Trump before he was for him. The Nixon / Romney / Bush wing of the Party is where he’s comfortable, and the views expressed are consistent with that center right ideology.
  • MAL1776
    Biden Blinken betrayal of Israel
Keep up the pressure Hugh on never/Trumper Jim !!! That debate between the two of you just demonstrated the absolute lunacy and blindness of the Never -Trumpers to reality. I love Trump precisely for all the rough edges and brashness and bluntness and fighting spirit for our Country and for we the people .

    Hack
Hewitt lies shamelessly, and doesn’t even bother to hide his glaring double standards on a variety of topics. I suppose he assumes that his listeners consume no actual news, only propaganda. If you want to be amused by a guy who will explain why he has a problem when a democrat does something, but is fine with the same behavior from a Republican, you’ve found your show. He will argue for one side of an issue, then make the exact opposite argument when the party line changes. He gives you the permission structure for total moral inconsistency.

Not sure the show is still on the air
I used to enjoy the condensed content of Hugh’s talk show available here. Unfortunately the quality of the content has deteriorated over the past few weeks and now finally disappeared. Hugh was able to interview some quality guests and provide coverage of events on a timely basis. Sadly, gone into the wind.

    Trump interview
Best way to find anything else to listen to is having Trump on. You can’t be neutral with giving a candidate a forum to crap of the others.
  • trishapav
Can’t depend on his down loads being consistent.
H ugh says he is center right at some point he may have been. Over the years he has shifted and at best is center evidence by his support for the Chief Justice and the Senate Republican Leader. There is no consistency with the download of his highly concentrated Hugh. Never at same time of day, different length and some days it doesn’t get downloaded at all. I had been a paid subscriber to his Podcast for many years and then I let it lapse because I no longer wanted to pay for his wishy washy conservatism. With that said I have been thinking of paying for his full Podcast of late, but because he doesn’t care Or can’t get a his Podcast download in a timely manner (something that was a problem when I was paying for it) I have reconsidered. There are many podcasts out there for conservative that are dependable and with out cost. Hugh Hewitt get your crap together your getting your tail better by Mark Levin, Daily Wire Crew, Dan Bongino and others.

    Hugh has seen better dsys
After listening first to the radio show for many years and now the podcast, Hugh should take his own advice towards elderly politicians and retire!! Your recent interview of Vivek Ramaswamy clearly shows your bias. You screeched at him, interrupted him and debated him the entire time, clearly because you think he’s a distraction . Do you ever listen to your own podcasts? It’s time to hang it up and allow truly non-biased interviewers to take over
  • Mulligan Hal
    Establishment Republican Podcast
But he does get issues wrong because, as an establishment Republican, he is reluctant to rock the boat. For example, Senator Tommy Tuberville is way smarter than Senator Sheldon Whitehouse or Senator Maxie Hirono. The fact he’s willing to force a vote on senior military promotions as a way to contest the DOD abortion travel policy is sound judgement.

    Wow… in a bad way…
First time listener. I expected to hear a well rounded interview with Jon Ward. Instead, I found this to be a horribly disorganized mess. Hugh says he wants to hear more about Jon’s faith journey but then spends the first 15 minutes contradicting many of Jon’s claims in the book without giving Jon equal time. Hugh uses the interview as an opportunity to bloviate about his own personal experiences and opinions. If you were to tally up the minutes of Hugh yakking versus Jon speaking, I think it would be heavy on the Hugh side. If this is the quality of the interviews on this podcast, I won’t be listening again.
  • Winter Garden Mark
    Knowledgeable and makes sense
I have listened to the Hugh Hewitt show for many years. He knows so many people and is straight forward. He is pro Republican yet listens to all sides. He is knowledgeable, sensible, and good hearted. If you want to know about politics, he is the one to listen to.
  • ric mcdic
    Incredible
If you want to hear a geriatric talk about budgeting and messaging issues, this is the show for you
  • sngr4evr
    Asa Hutchinson
No he won’t gain traction. He has no charisma and listening to him is like watching paint dry. You interview with him was a dud too. Not one of your best. Questions were awkward and rushed. Some of the defense policy were almost in the vein of “gotcha” questions or like you were trying to show off your own policy chops. Didnt sit well and when AH gently poked back saying you were the expert I’m not sure you even got that and rushed on. You should stop and listen sometimes rather than always trying to get your one liners in.

    Great insightful, but Inconsistent
Hugh Hewitt is not inconsistent with respect to his political and legal philosophies. However, his podcast is not released on a regular basis or according to any schedule. I think it’s his producers fault. Release the podcast same time every day is my suggestion and I will listen to it more often.

    What happened to Hugh
He used to be seemingly honestly about his views, but has followed his audience into the abyss where he repeats or lends credence to silly conspiracies and obviously-wrong facts.
  • MWZUSA!
    Frustrated listener
How could you have not read or interviewed Victor Davis Hanson on his book “The Case for Trump”? You would’ve had your finger on the pulse on this issue. Sad to hear how out of touch those who have their hands on the levers of influence.

Best show on radio. My #1 podcast.
Journalist and lawyer Hugh Hewitt is the best host and interviewer on air anywhere today. He is a newsman’s newsman who welcomes and interviews a broad spectrum of people of all walks of life and political viewpoints. Frequently, this show actually makes news because Hugh knows and asks the right questions and follow up questions of his guests. Civil, polite, thoughtful, but always probing, and not in a “gotcha!” manner. He just wants to help audiences really understand the important issues of the day, and he wants guests and listeners to keep coming back, especially if they disagree with him.
  • Utah Todd
    Excellent!
Thank you Hugh for bringing civil, thoughtful political analysis back into the arena. All guests are well-qualified to comment and the debate is informative and respectful. I listen every day.

    Daily Listening is a Must
Hugh Hewitt is one of the best out there. I’ve been listening to him for years. I also have been giving money to the Nixon Library since the 90s, so I’m one of those guys. However, please, please stop having Jake Sherman on. I started listening to punch bowl news because of Hugh and it is nothing but a bunch of Democrat apologist pap. Every time Hugh has Sherman on, Sherman ties himself in knots trying to act like he’s not sure what Biden meant by saying whatever nonsense he says. Getting sick of it. You have some great people on Hugh and don’t even need anybody on because you are brilliant. Please stop having that tool on. Thanks.

My most consistently listened to podcast
I don’t always agree with HH but he is the best interviewer out there right now. I look forward to this podcast more than any other in my queue.
  • dorothy40
    Inconsistent posting
If this show is supposed to be a daily rundown of the news, why doesn’t it post everyday? Instead, this podcast is regularly several days behind.
  • Transplanted CO Buckeye
    Brilliant
Hugh is smart, honest, entertaining, and above all, fair in his commentary. He is a master interviewer. His center-right views align with mine very well and are simply brilliant when filtered through his constitutional law background. In a sea of voices, Hugh’s podcast is a quick shot of smart-guy stuff.

    Thank You
These condensed podcasts are fantastic. Now we can enjoy the best segments of the show even when we miss the broadcast. Thank You for putting it together.

Fair-minded, articulate, and reasoned. Intelligent way to wake up every morning. Center/Right is where the nation lives and Hewitt knows the neighborhood. He invites on a meticulously chosen array of guests and he is unafraid to spar with opposing views from well-mannered, thoughtful interviewees. A good listen.

    Movie reviews
I could not possibly care less of what some critic thinks of a movie. Any movie, for that matter. I think Hollywood lost the American public years ago. COVID sealed the grave. The same can be said for major league sports. Not only could we not see them, we got blasted with they’re insane political policies. Who cares? If you do, you have too much time on your hands. There are far more important topics to discuss than the inane nonsense from those two industries.

I’ve had enough Rinos and Nevertrumpers? And that now unfortunately includes Hugh Hewitt, Mitch McConnell and Tom Cotton! I’ll never give another F-ing dime to the RNC!

Great but Wimpy to NBC; Apologist for Racist Dyson
Hugh Hewitt is one of the best, but he has a complete blind spot for his left wing buddies at NBC. He kisses up to Chuck Todd and the rest over there who are far to the left, but he won’t admit it. He will not even allow anyone to debate him about it on his show. He gets into borderline sellout territory in order to stick up for Trump hating left winger Chuck Todd. Other than that, he is a smart and decent man. Edit: I had to dock him one more star for barely challenging anti-American racist Michael Eric Dyson. I have always respected Mr. Hewitt, but his allowing a free pass to anti-American racist Dyson was a bridge too far. Please don’t slither off to RINO land, Mr. Hewitt.

  • I 'm A Believer
    Hugh’s Blind Spot
Agree. I wish I had Hugh’s knowledge and experience but he is blind when it comes to the knowing liars at NBC. They use him, thank him, then continue to lie. Does not press them on why they refuse to cover specific stories. In response to this he would ask me, I’m sure, “Did you register anybody to vote today??”
