Jenn is amazing at reading the Bible and explaining very hard to understand scripture. Her voice is really nice and upbeat. It really is one of the best out there. You won’t regret listening. She doesn’t rush through the Bible like some.

I enjoy her approach. It’s a youthful and sometimes innocent approach. You don’t feel like your being lectured. Fantastic explanations of what she read.

When I started this podcast from a little over a year ago, I didn’t KNOW Jesus at all. I wanted to know him more and the best way I could think to do that would be to read the Bible. I had never picked up the Bible and read it because it was intimidating. I found this podcast and it has truly changed my relationship with Jesus! I’ve since been baptized and saved. Thanks, Jenn for making the Bible so easy to read. A year and 2 months later, I am on season 4 and I still can’t wait to hear the next episode.

Came across The Bible Explained while looking for a new Christian podcast that explains the Bible and this is spot on. Jenn is great, the Holy Spirit has given her wonderful revelations and insight, she is well spoken and has a great sense of humor! Also Jenn breaks things down in a way that allows you to paint a picture in your mind and really understand what you just read. Praying for her and her ministry!

This is the best podcast to listen to if you are looking for a breakdown of the Bible. Jenn is a great narrator and takes the time to breakdown and explain the different versus/chapters in ways that help you understand things easier. Thank you Jenn for this Podcast!

I have been listening to this podcast since 2023. It encouraged me to get baptized and has helped me truly understand God and his message. My 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with leukemia and without Christ and this podcast I would have been lost in the darkness.

I love listening to the scripture reading and Jenn’s follow up discussion. This podcast makes scripture so relatable! I have a much richer and deeper understanding of the application of scripture to my life and in my relationship with God since listening. This has been my favorite podcast to listen to that reads through the Bible. Jenn focuses on a section and discusses it, it’s not too long but gets the point across, which is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s great listening to on the way to work to start my day off right.

I like that there is a podcast to digest small parts of scripture each day. Very helpful to have a passion dread, and then discussed, it helped my brain think about things in different ways. The frustrating parts are that she spends too long in the beginning of each episode talking about other things, in fact, she often states that she is “ digressing”, but yet continues to digress. I also think she would benefit from theologically tying small passages together, she often gets stuck in the weeds, simply restating with the Bible passage has said, rather than tying it into the greater narrative and theological anchor points, and themes.

If you have a hard time understanding Scripture and you find yourself lost after reading something in the Bible. THIS PODCAST IS FOR YOU! Not only does it keep you wanting to come back but it truly gives you in great detail what is happening in the Bible, who wrote what and you even get a history lesson which I love. Jenn really knows her stuff and you can tell she puts a lot of effort to make each episode a great one. She is truly doing Gods work!

I love this podcast and I’m so glad I found it! I’m new to God’s word and even with videos and commentary it can be difficult to fully understand what I’m reading. I’ve found that what works best for me is, I read the chapter in my Bible, do my study and read the commentary I use, then I listen to this podcast and I get such a full and deeper understanding of what I just read! I just want to express my true appreciation for “The Bible Explained” podcast. It dawned on me not long ago that what I needed was to find a podcast that sought to read God’s Word in small parts and explain them in a relatable, interesting way. I tried a few different podcasts and knew immediately that they were not what I was craving—some were read in theatrical voices, or only read the Bible without explanation. As soon as I heard this one, I was hooked. I look forward to the day when I walk into God’s presence and meet the heroes of the Bible—I want to know their stories in a meaningful way. This podcast is one of the tools I will use to accomplish this. Yes, we are plugged into a church family and faithfully attend, and yes, both my husband and I grew up in Christian homes with a solid foundation, plus graduated from a Christian university (Corban University in Salem, OR). But what I wanted was the daily connection to God’s Word in a relatable way. I listen every morning on my walk—and on the weekends I listen back through older episodes.

I have been trying to read the Bible for 2 years now and always let life distract me. This podcast is amazing. I can hear the Bible and have an explaination !! Amazing for someone who is new to this journey and trying to get closer to God. Thank you Jen for this and taking your time doing this for us because you have helped me learn so much ❤️ I listen to 10 episodes a day or more while I work ! time to get my shirt !!!

This podcast is a great help. Jenn approaches the Bible in a easy and engaging conversation that promotes growth and a desire to learn more. Bein a pastor at a church it’s helpful to know that I can point other women to this resource and know that they will have sound biblical teaching.

I grew up in church & went to a Christian school and memorized chapters at a time to recite…yet I have never read all the way through the Bible (as reading is a challenge for me) let alone grasping what I’ve read.
