NameDaperHighly recommended podcast for OCSAfter listening to this podcast, I was inspired to go for the exam. I highly recommend this podcast for OCS. I was listening this podcast over and over while driving to work every day. I subscribed to be a patron member to get additional information and prepare myself for the exam. I passed 2024 OCS with 794 score. Thank you so much David and Austin for your support through Physio field podcast!

GjfghbdwqbExtremely helpfulListened to these religiously to and from work and on walks since I didn’t have to much time with a new born. Scored over 800 using these podcasts and MedBridge OCS prep. Recommend their Patreon for helpful Infograph’s, message boards, and questions. Happy studying.

CHagan.A must-use resourceI listened to each podcast over and over on my runs throughout my study time (and marathon training). Something different resonated each listen and the way they presented the material was clear and interesting and relevant. I also used all the Patreon resources. The Field Guide certainly helped me become a better clinician - and definitely helped me pass the OCS! I HIGHLY recommend.

LolalelulilalelolilulalolileluThe Best Study ResourceI give so much credit to this podcast in my success in passing the OCS. I listened to their podcasts everyday to/from work along with being a Patreon member. If you soak up their information and knowledge, you are on track to getting your OCS!

T-dub22I passed the OCS exam thanks to Physio Field GuideThis podcast was a major help in me preparing for my exam with a busy schedule. I listened to each episode several times and used their online resources (sign up for Patreon, it’s well worth it) as a primary source of preparation for the exam. I passed with a comfortable margin and I feel like I’m a more knowledgeable and skilled clinician as a result. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions!

k.g.n.So helpful 🙌This podcast is so thorough, while not giving you more than needed for this exam. Extremely up to date with research & evidence. I think it’s a challenge for any clinician to study while working full time, so the addition of this podcast to my routine while driving or exercising was such a game changer. Massive thanks to the creators for pouring into this & making it such an incredible resource! **Update: saw that beautiful “PASS” word on my screen today, so can further confirm this podcast is well worth your time!!!

MGrif16OCSThis podcast 100% helped me pass the OCS Exam. They break each topic down perfectly into the key things you must know for the exam!

KGSs1The only reason I feel ready for the OCSTrying to find a place to start studying for the OCS is overwhelming and other sources provide too much information. The episodes broke down the key information in an easy-to-remember way with clinical applications to improve recall. I only wish I had found this sooner. And the Patreon subscription is 100% worth it for the study sessions, extra questions, and downloadable charts/info graphics. 6/30/22 Edit: I passed well above the cut-off! Thanks for the guidance!
-
whitm485 stars!!!Such helpful prep info for the OCS! Austin and David explain the content clearly and succinctly. Pacing is excellent, review questions are very similar to the style of exam questions and the review sessions are worth the upgrade to listen to the reasoning processes. Can’t recommend their content enough!
-
soon to be OCSBest OCS resourceI studied the current concepts and medbridge but felt I was missing something. Then I found this podcast and it really prepared me on a whole new level. The podcast was so great that I joined the patreon and that was even better! I’d highly recommend using this to study for the OCS!
-
skperrymanHighly recommend if studying for the OCS!I sincerely don’t know how I would have organized my studying without this podcast. I cannot recommend enough and highly recommend subscribing to their material on Patreon. Also a great resource for clinicians just looking to stay up to date
-
elars3Highly recommendThis podcast is an invaluable resource for studying for the OCS and just review for clinicians. Between the audio, printable material, and recorded study sessions, everything is so helpful. Definitely recommend upgrading to the Specialist or Sherpa levels for all the great resources.
-
Kate & HarleyA staple for my studying!Thank you guys so much for all the work you put into this resource! This was awesome for repetition of important information.
-
Builder43572Not a second of wasted timeThe podcasts were so easy to listen to. I listened to a few of them multiple times. They helped get 10+ questions right for sure just from my last few days of listening. Highly highly recommend when you have time to listen but not sit down and study.
-
suzie.rInvaluable resourceWhile taking the OCS exam, I repeatedly thanked these guys in my head because they helped me feel adequately prepared for many of the very hard questions. Episodes are easy to digest and to the point. Don’t miss out on their Patreon account material either. Thank you David and Austin!

yalemaier09gtFantastic OCS study resourceDavid and Austin do an incredible job at summarizing the current evidence regarding various orthopedic physical therapy topics. Hlong2OCS PrepThis podcast was so helpful to aid in studying for the OCS!

OCS all the timeBEST OCS PREPThis is the best OCS podcast/study tool around. I also am doing Medbridge and have the current concepts and I have done other podcasts as well, but OCS Field Guide is in a league of it’s own. OCS Field guide is way better than all the rest. It is really easy to pay attention to these podcasts and they are really good a highlighting the important things. I also joined their Patreon page for $6 which is the best $6 I have spent.
-
Alex D, DPTIncredible, incredible resourceThis podcast has been beyond helpful with concisely presenting the CPGs and overall OCS prep. Especially for a busy clinician trying to be a good father to a newborn! I manage a private practice clinic, and even my therapists not studying for the OCS have learned from this podcast. Do yourself a favor and subscribe to their Patreon, too. The resources on there are worth way more than what they charge and will benefit your studying so very much. Give these guys a gold medal or Nobel Peace Prize or something. They deserve it. Or just subscribe to their Patreon.
-
EZG2Concise and easy to followThe best OCS podcast out there. They both make sure to cover the most pertinent information and make it easy to grasp!
-
KFPhDTop OCS podcastGreat resource for auditory learners and to reiterate key topic areas for the OCS exam.
-
acharbs2018Great resource!Love this podcast for clear, concise summary of CPG, CPR, and other major study topics. Great for when you want to study, but can’t take a book with you.
-
CeeCee324Cannot recommend enough!Such an excellent resource for studying for the OCS! The content was well organized and super helpful. Thank you, David and Austin for all your hard work putting this together! I’ll definitely be recommending the Physio Field Guide to co-workers and friends looking for additional study material!
-
Michaela-KentAmazing resource!!These podcasts were invaluable while I was preparing to take the OCS! They break down the material in a way that makes sense and is very relevant. I could even hear David and Austin’s voices in my head as I took the exam!
-
NKOSUDPTOCS Field GuideThese guys are organized and concise, I just took the OCS yesterday and reccomend their review highly. Other resources out there in various formats (audio, book, online, etc) can somtimes go down rabbit holes that are way too granular comapred to what I saw on the test. You need to know your stuff - the test is hard - but I found myself getting mired in certain details while studying that simply didnt show up. They provide a good overview to supplement Current Concepts and the CPGs.
-
ocsstarSuper helpfulHas been such a useful resource that I’ve used with the Medbridge program. Lots of info I would’ve never known if I only did the medbridge course. Wish there were more episodes out on body parts such as shoulder and ankle- as the test is coming up!! Thanks for all the help
-
KatieLorinBest OCS review podcastThe hosts of this podcast do a great job at keeping listeners engaged! They’re to-the-point with all episodes and cover all of the main points for each topic. This was a great study tool to use when traveling and doing housework!
-
Maegen Brady, DPTConvenient and helpful study resourceAlong with the practice questions emailed to my inbox, the podcast has been a helpful way to help prepare for the OCS test.
-
AHL811Best OCS Study toolI’m not sure how I fell upon this podcast but it was a true god-send as I’m studying while working full time and taking care of 2 little ones. I started listening to another podcast prior to finding this one and it was honestly hard to listen to (not only the way content was presented but the presenters were also difficult to listen to). But by the first episode, I was SO thankful I found this field guide as it laid out the information so well and David and Austin’s voices are much easier to listen to. It’s obvious they are passionate about the subjects and simply helping fellow PTs succeed! I can confidently say I feel much more prepared for the exam than I would have without these guys. THANK YOU BOTH!!

OCSFieldGuideFanBest Podcast for OCS StudyingHands down the best podcast I have come across in my studying for the OCS. Information is concise, well organized, and delivered in a manner that facilitates learning. You can tell Dr. Smelser enjoys teaching and he does it well (Dr. Kercheville is great, too!). If efficiency is your thing, you will enjoy this podcast that fits its description with no fluff added. I also recommend becoming a member of their Patreon page.
-
ashuri09Concise, professional and helpful!I started listening to this podcast and it is such a good adjunct to my studying. The hosts are very clear and have good teaching techniques. The sound and quality are also very professional. I’ve found it much more helpful than the other ocs study podcast I was listening to.
-
Klekamp.voGreat PodcastThey somehow made studying for the OCS convenient and enjoyable. My favorite resource I have found.
-
patel sonamOne of the best ones I’ve come acrossThe founders have done such a great job summarizing everything in their podcasts. It’s perfect revision for CPRs, CPGs, test questions etc. highly recommend it!
-
JudoFitnessGreat resource! As a busy clinician still getting my feet on the ground at a new job, a parent of 2 small children, and starting my own business on the side, time to study for the OCS is at a premium. The OCS Field Guide has been great, not only with the highlights of most important information, but the approach is helping me prioritize and organize the rest of my studying.
-
ZygomaticrissConcise study aide.Seriously the best podcast for OCS studying. I paid the $6 to become a patreon and joined their study sessions - it has just as much value as the EIM membership. Actually, probably more because EIM requires a heavy time commitment, while this podcast does exactly what it promises. Concise study information. Highly recommend.
-
Fake Name JonesyAn invaluable resourceThis is essential listening for everyone taking the OCS exam. The podcast episodes summarize the most important information from the exam content and narrate them in a way that truly helps you retain in. They go over important principles that help with your critical thinking process as opposed to just narrating dry facts. Episodes contain valuable practice questions too. Can’t recommend this enough. Join their Patreon community where you can have monthly live review sessions over Zoom as well.
-
Ed_GeminiGreat tool to keep me focus when I’m lost. This is a great series of podcast. Without spending too much time on other things they directly jump on to the crux of clinical pearls. Listeners please don’t ignore them. You might require high level of attention and note taking skills while listening.
-
gguru1Smart, helpful, and to the point! This is a great podcast to get really practical knowledge and study tips in under half an hour. Highly recommend.
