I am so excited that Season 2 of Absolutely No Adventures has finally dropped! I’ve listened to Season 1 more times than I can count, and it never fails to make me smile. This podcast is just the perfect mix of wholesome, lighthearted fun that keeps me coming back for more. The characters are lovable, the humor is spot-on, and it has this wonderfully cozy, feel-good vibe that puts me in a good mood. I especially like to listen to episodes while lap swimming - as it’s a nice break from staring at the bottom pool tiles. If you’re looking for something cute and fun, this is it.

A thoroughly fun comic fantasy about a baker who repeatedly refuses the call to adventure. The writing has tremendous fun with established fantasy tropes in a way that fans of Terry Pratchett or younger listeners who like Shrek will appreciate. At the same time, it's an inventive story of its own that builds over the course of the season. I can't wait to hear what they've baked for the next season.

Such a cute and new concept--no adventures, but with wit, engaging characters, and a cool new world. I really hope they make more.

I love comedic fantasy, but it’s so rarely done at all, and so rarely done *well*. This hits the spot. This is a little reminiscent of the books of Pratchett, but a bit more modern feeling in its tone (only a bit). Looking forward to seeing more!

Lovely plots. Lovely word play and prophesy finagling. Lovely characters. Lovely sound effects that add to the absolutely lovely storytelling. Lovely emotion and character portrayal. Lovely all around voice acting and script writing. I adore. ‘Tis now a favorite of mine. (Especially episode 11, Let Them Eat Wedding Gate)

This is a great podcast and I binged it all in one go. The characters are great; they’re likable, they feel fleshed out, and they feel real. I loved this show almost as soon as I started listening. The episodes are well done, the story is on point, and the pacing is great. It’s left me wanting so much more, and I’d even pay to help them create more or this series. I’ve already recommended the show to several friends. Fantastic job!

This is great EXCEPT for Bea. The voice actress way overdoes her part and has an extremely annoying, Broadway-esque/failed theatre kid quality that is grating and unenjoyable. Without her character, or with a different actress, this show would be perfect.

I had concerns about whether the episodes would be entertaining with only 10 minutes. The story by far exceeded my expectations with its charming story of a baker that many people try to rope into adventures, which he avoids at all cost. The voice acting is expertly-done. Each actor is perfectly matched for their character. This is also a podcast that you can listen to with the whole family and will keep you wanting more.

Listening to this podcast is like taking a bite out of a good pastry. It’s sweet and short and very filling. The characters are well written, the scenarios silly but engaging, and overall just such a fun show to listen to. Can’t wait for more!
