    So much fun!
It is so fun listening to the stories every week between these two friends! Love it!! This is my absolute favorite podcast 💜

    This podcast is a delight
I love podcasts about folk and fairy tales and this podcast is just delightful. I love the rapport of the hosts, the genuine joy they take in these stories, and the diversity of stories that I have never heard. It is a bright point to look forward to!

    A Buffet for my Autism
I have loved Fairytales, Mythology, and Folklore since I was young, and I got my hands on whatever I could. Back then, what I specifically looked for was very limited, and since being diagnosed and discovering this podcast, I’ve been able to cater to my hyper fixation without much work on my part, and leaving time to invest in my other fixations. I come for the stories, and stay for the comedy, and I’m sad I’m almost caught up because then I’ll have to wait for it just like everyone else. (P.s. I’m poor so I’m waiting to do Patreon.) Love y’all!

My 16 year old has sworn off this podcast
Abby and Kelsey joined me on a road trip last fall to buy several hundred dollars worth of art supplies from an estate sale. The art supplies are still sitting here untouched, but i have listened to every episode since (productivity!). I did share some episode listening with my 16 year old daughter, but she has sworn it off since hearing most of the Teeth In The Wrong Places tale. 😅 I could feel her squirming and cringing in the car, and had to turn it off. To her great relief she cried “Ah! Turn that embarrassment off!” I guess what I’m trying to say is, this podcast isn’t for everyone, but I am pretty sure I need to convince Abby and Kelsey to go on another road trip with me!

I will never not try to convince people to listen to this podcast
This is one of my favorite podcasts. It's hilarious, bizarre, and wonderful. I'm constantly trying to get people to listen to it. After almost every episode I recap the stories for my partner because I can't not tell people about them. I have become obnoxious in my efforts to get some of my friends to listen to it. You will not regret a minute you spend listening. Wild murdered horses couldn't drag me away. 10/10 would recommend.

Cry-laughing in public places, just amazing.
I binged 70 episodes in about three and a half weeks because I couldn’t get enough. I have been seen walking to and from the office, grocery store, UPS, and other public places in broad daylight, unabashedly smiling and laughing like an idiot at the ridiculous stories and hot takes these ladies have in every episode. Loving the friendship between these two amazing hostesses and Dustin don’t ever cut any of it out!!

    Can’t get enough
I honestly love so many things about this podcast. Including the “inane chatter and giggling”. Might actually be my favorite part. Really reminds me of me and my best friend. Love you girls and your work just as it is, and thank you for introducing me to Baba Yaga. Legendary. Also, I think I’ll start having a brew of choice while I listen. Cheers, ladies!

A fun way to drive home from work
Abbie and Kelsey will tell you a story or two and make that drive home in awful traffic better. You will laugh, you will cry, you will make other drivers wonder what is wrong with you. Seriously though, these ladies have a thoughtful methodology for critiquing fairy tales and making more palatable in a modern society. I’ve now realized that my greatest aspiration should have always been to be a witch in the woods.

    My Favorite Light Listening
Abby and Kelsey are an absolute delight to listen to. It’s no secret this is their passion project of a podcast and it’s always a delight to listen to these 2 discuss their fixes for well and lesser known fairy tales. They both do well in highlight the subtle complexities of the stories they share and do a great job of coming up with thoughtful, and often hilarious, fixes for the modern listener of these tales. I look forward to every new episode to come!

    Fun fairy tale adventure!
Kelsey and Abbie are exactly as the joke: Pretty, Smart, and funny. At least it shows in the fairy tales they discuss every other week. The also take their time to be sensitive to the culture of the stories they tel A++++

    Fairytale Fix
This is one of my favorite podcasts! I really look forward to each installment, as the stories are such fun, and I enjoy the banter and friendship of the hosts. My grandmother read me stories like these when I was a child and I loved it. This has rekindled that experience and memories of my Grandma with all new, fun stories.

    My Sunday Morning Fix
I so look forward to my Sunday morning treat of lingering in bed and saying the magic words, “Alexa, play Fairy Tale Fix podcast.” Alexa obeys my command, filling my head and warming my heart with Abby and Kelsey’s delightful re-imaginings of familiar and unfamiliar tales. I’m transfixed until the tale is fixed, and Abby and Kelsey release me from their spell. Thank you for making my Sunday mornings magical. You possess the gift the miller’s daughter sought — but rather than straw, you spin moments into gold!
  • DOFTales
Like listening to smart, nerdy friends chat about a favorite subject.
The rapport and humor keep the stories fresh and fun as the hosts dive into fairy tale themes. Lesser known tales are presented alongside the more famous and pop culture references are also given thought. Overall, a well-rounded and enjoyable listen for those who enjoy both the beauty and absurdity of fairy tales.

    Very fun!
Not for kids but very fun for adults that still love fairy tales but have a little bit to say something about them. Abbie and Kelsey have great chemistry and you feel like you’re right there chatting with them!
  • Jarguy
    Hilarious and adorable
These two ladies are hilarious !! I love how they fix the tales and not always in the way I expect.
  • Poisonedfrog
Perfect background listening while you work!
These two have SUCH chemistry, and are hilarious. Great podcast premise- I can’t wait to see where they take it!! :D (Note: Not for kiddo ears lol)
  • Gryphon82115
Not what I expected— so much better!
So I thought this was a podcast where you were just going to get your obscure fairy tale fix, which I was already down for. However, I love how they talk about the questionable parts of the story and are real about them. Then they try to *fix* what would make it cringeworthy when read now. This was so much fun to listen to and I’m excited to see what is talked about next!
  • whitneyweil
    Hilarious and adorable!
I honestly don’t know much about many fairytales and I loved this twist! This podcast was so funny, lighthearted and easy to listen to. I’m excited to listen to future Fairytale Fix podcasts! Nice job ladies.

    Huff puff, what a delight!
Your chemistry is outstanding!! This podcast combines so many amazing things: whimsy, storytelling, 10th Kingdom references, Abbie, discussions about running away with dragons (hawt), and you know...fairy tales. I advise y’all treat your ear holes to the delightful and utterly enchanting Fairy Tale Fix Podcast. Get your Fix on!!!

    Fairy Tales and delightful banter!
Just the other day I was wondering why people love hearing about gruesome murders so much through podcasts, as I have no interest in that at all. Then I listened to the first episode of Fairy Tale Fix, which contains a number of gruesome murders, though fictional, so I kind of get it. I love a good fairy tale any day, and Abbie and Kelsey deliver them to us in a wonderful fashion, explaining the origins and the story itself, and what they might do change the story up. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys fictional murder!
  • BlitheringWither
A new and interesting way to tell stories!
Abbie and Kelsey really killed it in episode 1. I really enjoy the format they have laid out and I can’t wait to hear more in future episodes!
  • hurgleturgle
    Such a good start
Only one episode out to judge, but I can already tell this show is a banger. Both of the hosts are funny and charming, and their banter is a joy to listen to. I wasn’t even interested in fairy tales before, but after hearing the ones introduced in the first episode, I’m changing my tune. Keep it up!
  • Callipuss
    Fairy Tale fun!!
This podcast is a fun listen! Can’t wait to hear more awesome stories and what they’d fix.
  • EllayB
Great idea, with the perfect people for the job
Abbie and Kelsey set a great tone right out of the gate. The format flows beautifully, and they call out the problematic themes of traditional tales while still expressing their love for the genre. I loved their unique twists on how to change the stories - they’re altered enough to empower the misrepresented rather than sanitize the whole thing. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait for more!
  • Green Phantom
    Absolutely Amazing
What a little gem of a podcast! The hosts are hilarious and super informative. I didn’t even think I was into fairy tales but I am now! However I’m with Kelsey, I think Bluebeard missed his calling as a pirate...maybe in a previous life though, he does have a suspicious amount of treasure. Looking forward to more podcasts and the eventual Fairy-Con this smash hit show will spawn

A new twist to old classics
You’ve known them your whole life - fairy tales, fables, myths. I love them. They are my jam. But some of them (a lot of them) leave me cocking my head and squinting my eyes in consternation. In comes Fairy Tale Fix! I love the charm and humor that Abbie and Kelsey bring to this topic. Stories are inherently malleable and shaped by pop culture, so what better way to approach them in today’s landscape than to see what makes them tick and revamping them for a modern world? Love it, love them, love this podcast!

Great podcast diving into the Fairy Tales of my youth
Much like the shows host I grew up loving the fairy tales my parents told me and I read growing up. Hearing the first episode threw me back to my childhood. Kelsey and Abbie are both adorable and hilarious and you can tell they are passionate about Fairy Tales they discuss.
  • FaithJoh
Really fun way to re-experience old stories
This is a great start to a show I didn't realize I needed in my life! These ladies do a great job of telling their folktales in a lighthearted, refreshing way - and come up with some surprising fixes! So far they've done Bluebeard and the Magic Lake - can't wait to see what's up next.
  • Dustinalexander
Fairy Tale Fix repaired a problem I did not even know I had
I just finished listening to episode one and I have to say the stories are a delight as well as Kelsey and Abbie. Their chemistry is wonderful and their love for Fairy Tales shows, I can't wait to listen to future episodes!
  • Zeebaeeta
    Hilarious and Adorable
I love these girls. They are hilarious and adorable and point out all the messed up things about fairy tales, and then fix them for a modern retelling...usually ending in something even more messed up. It's amazing
