Micaela Benn’s Children’s Book Marketing podcast is a wonderful combination of information and well organized show. She is a polished speaker and her ideas are well organized. Her delivery is pleasant, upbeat and informative. I am about halfway through the back podcasts and each one has been so good I will certainly re-listen after I finish! Thank you. Great vibe, great personality. More importantly, great content. I’ve been consuming podcasts, articles, and formal children’s book academy opportunities for the last three years to immerse in this foreign world that I eagerly want to call home. I thoroughly enjoy and appreciate this podcast because of the focus on children’s books, because she’s an author implementing the same strategies she’s sharing with us, and because she provides actionable items - with explanations. In season 2, I also really like the interviews. We individually can’t possibly know all the things; bringing in other skilled professionals to talk about their respective arenas only expands our knowledge base and opportunities. Thank you for putting this out in the world. Highly recommended.

I have learned so much from this podcast. Micaela breaks down the process in such a way that makes it achievable for me. I have struggled to understand what I need to do to understand my brand and market it in a way that I feel more confident and prosperous. Her voice is soothing and reassuring. I am learning about different ways to sell my books and merchandise I didn’t even know was available. I am thinking of new ways to monetize my brand because she is so informative of so many possibilities. If you are a new authorprenuer and need to know where to start and all the possibilities, this is a great podcast for you. If you are not new to this but need more to help guide you, then this is a great podcast for you.

This a very informative and collaborative podcast. I say that in large because the host is very open to delivering content that her audience wants. What I mean in that sense is that she often puts out data calls to ascertain what types of topics that the general populace would like her to talk about or expound upon. She then takes that commentary and creates magic with it in each episode. Moving along, while this podcast is centrally marketed towards children’s books authors, it actually speaks to all types of authors at a macro level. There is literally something within each Espinosa for everyone. The hosts broad reach in that sense is amazing to me particularly given that the podcast has only been in existence for one year now. On that note, I give season 1 five stars. With all of that being said and done, I most look forward to what the host brings forward in season two and beyond.

I’m in the middle of self publishing my first children’s book and am trying to take in all the help I can get. Micaela is SO knowledgeable and her teaching is super easy to comprehend and take in. So glad I decided to listen to this today. I wrote down a page of notes and am looking forward to putting them to work. HIGHLY recommend this podcast to anyone who is self publishing a children’s book!
