    Love this show.
I’m a fan of the books and I love the hosts together, how comfortable & joking they are, but also very serious w/ history, analysis etc. Feels like being part of a really, really good JA book club. Working my way through all the episodes & finding it very comforting listening

    Sigh
I do appreciate this podcast. But too white? Really? Shame on the writer of this description. Like it’s Jane Austen’s fault for being “white”. Absolutely trashy and ridiculous.

    Cringey “woke” rhetoric
I listen to several Jane Austen podcasts and most of them have a more modern and often feminist take on Austen…. But this one takes the cake. A lot of their assertions seem like a reach and it’s trying very hard to be woke.
