Perfect Hobby Podcast

A gold standard of hobby podcasting, this has been a great show for getting into Battletech and learning about the hobby. Episodes are paced well, and it’s easy to jump around and “research” topics or just listen in sequence. The hosts all seem like great people that you would want to game with.

An informative and mostly entertaining discussion

On Battletech tactics, Force building and other practical aspects of the game. While many Battletech discussions have veered towards “Hurr durr clanners bad, mr good”, this pod takes you under the hood. I like the fact they keep things moving and don’t get bogged down. Lastly even though they seem to focus on tactics and clinical topics, you can tell that several members of this pod are tainted by their love of everything spheroid. Which means they will never be allowed to enter the circle of equals bad should be exterminated like the pests that they are.

The guys do a great job of talking about Battletech and sharing their love for it. They are fans and it shows. If you are a Battletech fan you will enjoy this show. It is everything that’s great about the game.
