I really used to enjoy the non-ad content of this podcast. Georgia Marie is a compelling host and chooses interesting topics to cover. But I had to stop listening bc the ads are so loud. I listen in bed with earbuds, and it takes a several seconds to reach my phone and turn the sound down for ads. Please lower the ad volume and I will be delighted to listen. Thank you!

Good content, but commercials break in too often and seemingly at random, making podcast difficult to listen to.

Whether it’s a podcast or YouTube, Georgia’s content is always interesting and very well researched! I appreciate and thoroughly enjoy how involved she gets while still giving facts that could help people.

Her material is interesting and unique and she seems to love what she does. She always gives due respect and has detailed information on all different cases, truthfully wonderful!

The content itself is fine. I enjoy the faster paced speaking. I’ve listened to two episodes though and won’t listen to any more because of the commercials. Be prepared to skip through a lot of commercials. 5 commercials for a 30-45 minute podcast, and the commercials break in literally mid sentence. It was actually the same repeating commercial for me from Instacart. I don’t mind commercials but I’d rather have a longer chunk of them than have them pop in every 5 minutes. It disrupts the flow of the story entirely.

Georgia treats the victims with respect and tells these tragic stories with reverence.

Interesting stories that you never hear about any where else. Georgia’s accent and fast manner of speaking is difficult cult to understand.

I just found Georgia Marie on YouTube today - her channel there is awesome, and the podcast version is basically the same - her research is very thorough and her analysis is among the best. She says she is not a professional criminologist but her thoughts and logic are spot on.

She’s very smart and one of the more respectful presenters in the true crime genre. She also loves history and will cover cases that you don’t hear about over and over again in other places. Very calm, relaxing voice, what’s not to love?

Georgia’s choice of cases and storytelling ability are highly engaging. Her videos/episodes manage to be incredibly educational and still hold my [admittedly short] attention span. She discusses historical and true crime events that often do not receive due attention, spreading awareness about forgotten historical figures and unsolved crimes. She is not afraid to tell the true stories of historically misrepresented or obscured events in regards to civil rights, the LGBTQ+ community, cold cases, etc. Georgia truly shines a light on the darkness.

Good material and great voice! Georgia infuses her stories with just the right amount of enthusiasm.
