Longtime listener, first time reviewer…Erin’s micro aggressions towards Carly have made this podcast unlistenable. May a friendship like this never find me. I’ll stick to watching Carly’s vlogs from now on!

I started listening to Only Friends when it originally came out along with a long list of other podcasts. And now Only Friends has become one of my favorite simply because of the consistency of their content. So many other podcasts have flopped and became boring. The longer I listen to Only Friends the more I love Carly and Erin. Y’all better keep it up and not give up this podcast because at this point you guys are all that I have lol love you girlies

I hate the way Erin treats Carly. I have to say, I’m so glad to see Carly sticking up for herself. It seems she has gotten a lot more confidence in herself, and I love that! Carly is the reason I still listen to this podcast. Keep up the good work!

This really is a comedy podcast because I was laughing so hard at episode 178 with them being extremely hypocritical re: politics and then 15 minutes later saying they hate hypocrites like BFFR. Y’all (primarily Erin) are the biggest hypocrites online these days. Take a look in the mirror.

I’ve been a fan since vine. I know their dynamics, history etc. but lately it is SO obvious how over it Erin is. I’ve also noticed how much MEANER Erin has become toward Carly, while Carly is always too nice to say something and lets her walk all over her. I know Erin’s personality, but she has just been flat out rude to Carly in every episode lately. It’s super disappointing from a long-term fan, but Erin is done. Maybe they’ve grown apart, but feel professionally still tied idk. They just only hang out for business lately and it makes me sad to see.

Just kinda too boring. Seems to be an ok produced podcast but I find myself skipping forward a lot bc I don’t care about what they’re saying

In the latest episode, “going to court” these white girls discuss the black issues within the HipHop space community. Both girls stated they don’t get the Kendrick and Drake rap beef going viral. (Well maybe it’s not yours to get.) & stated that “two old men making diss tracks to each others,” yet both choose to listen to a 30+ year old white girl Taylor Swift constantly talking about high school peak love in all her music. White people seem to not do any research about how this is the culture within hip hop community spaces. Making diss tracks is a culture & serves as a it’s foundation of rap freestyles. Don’t listen to this podcast they are so uneducated and only make excuses for white people.

I’ve been listening and watching them since vine days and every episode that drops have me laughing and feel like I’m hanging with my besties! Only friends podcast is the only podcast I can put on and be smiling and chuckling at work. I’ll relisten to podcasts when I’m feeling down and need to have a good laugh. Thank you ladies for being who you are and making this podcast for us all to listen to and enjoy!!!

I have to change my review to one star. I’ve supported you both from the literal beginning. I am so upset to see you both post a few pro Israel posts and then say NOTHING to support Palestine. The cherry on top is you both choosing to not call out your other co host mike who is full mask off on Twitter liking tweets about killing all Palestinians (not Hamas). He’s being dangerous and none of you seem to care. Everything is good in your world so why bother, right? The Starbucks upload was the final straw. You either aren’t educating yourselves, you support genocide, or you’re just more fake performative allys Any way you see it it’s unacceptable and I will no longer support you on any platforms This was so sad to come to terms with

You don’t know it but you’re my laundry buddies. I listen while I do boring chores and it makes the time way more enjoyable. I enjoy your podcast and humor. It’s like listening in on a gossip session with friends. The only thing I would ask is please quit making comments about the South. I’m Southern and I can tell you there are narrow minded rednecks everywhere, not just here. It seems hypocritical to stereotype everyone in the South just based on what? Have either of you spent time here? I love you both but it makes me so sad every time it’s brought up. We don’t all have to be from the same part of the country and share all the same beliefs. Diversity makes the world go round.

Am I the only human alive who doesn’t watch Vanderpump Rules??! I have to take a break until they’re done recapping every single plot point in excruciating detail. I enjoy the other content but I skip half the episode to bypass VPR talk.

I really enjoy this podcast and love this duo but I feel like Erin is always making Carly feel bad or saying subtle rude comments and ofc Carly being the nice queen she is either agrees with Erin or brushes it off. For example ep 102 29:00 - 30:10 might be a hot take but something I’ve observed .

A little disappointed in the negative comments about Chris D’elia…

This is the most boring podcast I have ever listened to. I mean in the most recent episode, I listened to probably about 20 minutes of Erin figuring out her jury duty dates. I love Good Influences, but this is soooooo boring.

But your recaps on shows are so brutal to listen to… i wouldn’t even call it a recap, more like just saying what you watched. “Yeah it was really good” is the total amount of detail you guys will ever put into a recap. I wanna discuss the drama w you guys and hear what you think about what happened!!! With Erika drinking and then Sutton and Diana I don’t know what’s better.

this and one other podcast are the only ones i’ve ever been able to actually listen and follow along! i’m usually terrible w podcasts bc i get distracted but i love love love this one so much. i play it every time i’m in the car and it really is such a great podcast. i’ve followed carly and erin on youtube for over 4 years so being able to listen to them is like i’m just a fly on the wall with their conversations and i love it. the segments are great and aren’t dragged out at all. i would def listen to this podcast if each episode was either 5 minutes long or 5 hours long. such a great podcast!!

Every time Carly says something Erin is so rude, dismissive or just acts generally disinterested. And whenever she is addressing comments saying that she instantly goes into defense mode like “CARLY DOESN’T THINK THAT OR SHE WOULDN’T BE DOING THE PODCAST WITH ME”… as if Carly is just going to say on air that yeah Erin actually is being rude, and also it’s not like she can necessarily just quit being business partners with Erin considering it’s her job. I just wish instead of acting like she is so above to like anything Carly likes, she would pretend to be interested for 5 seconds. And if everybody is saying that you’re being rude to Carly… take a second to reflect instead of just being like nope I’m not you’re all wrong✌️

I listened to one episode and I will absolutely never again. I have been a fan of Carly and Erin’s Youtube channel for a few years now, but never knew the extent to which Erin bad mouths Republicans. In one of the last podcasts Erin mentioned that she was “scared” to be around individuals with Trump flags and “Let’s Go Brandon” shirts. You’re scared Erin? Really? You do realize Republicans are American individuals, like yourself? We aren’t monsters who will attack you lol. In fact, I am a white, 24 year old young woman, very similar to yourself! We are allowed to have differing politics beliefs. The reason our country is so heavily divided is because of people like yourself. Now knowing you are so scared of people, like myself, who have differing political beliefs than yourself, you can count me out as a follower. It’s disappointing because I really do enjoy Carly and the content she gives us viewers and listeners, but now knowing the kind of individual you are, I will no longer be listening or watching anything you produce! -Your fellow American citizen

When the pod is filled with laughter, kindness, and lightness it is GREAT! I hope they (mostly Erin) figure it out! Super uncomfortable to watch Erin be rude and dismissive to Carly. If you need a break from the pod I totally think you should take it! No episode would be better than one filled with negativity. I am so sorry for whatever you are going through.

Why does it seem like Erin is attacking Carly all the time. Before it seemed like she would do it in a more subtle way or unknowingly. But now it seems like she’s just annoyed at her all the time. I love them but it’s just getting weird watching and listening to them this way. Same thing goes with their vlogs. This is an honest opinion and maybe even an assumption.

I have not only been watching your vlogs for years, but listening to the podcast since the beginning. While I respect your opinion, it is extremely disrespectful that you continually down those who live in southern states. Not only do you make up an extreme southern accent as though we all speak that way, but make us seem like uneducated, illiterate people. There are people who live in all states that have different views, opinions and education levels, putting all people who love America or talk a certain way into one category is honestly disheartening. For a couple of people who act like they are so open and welcoming to everyone, you are coming across as uncultured and rude. I hope one day you will take into consideration, that just because someone lives somewhere or grew up in a certain state, doesn’t make that entire group of people, whatever category of hate you’re putting them in. I hope you do better next time.

i truly love listening to these girls at work. it feels like i’m sitting with them just chatting. Although I skip a lot of the show talk, it’s the perfect podcast to listen in and out of while at work! That being said, sometimes i do feel too educated to listen to this podcast (which is a first for me). every once in awhile i want to scream through the phone to correct them when they can’t find the right words for what they’re talking about. Love the pod, it’s so lighthearted and gets me through my daily long drives. I came here just to say thank you so much for bringing up how Avril Lavigne says avalanche, it literally makes me cringe and my boyfriend doesn’t understand why it drives me so insane, can’t even listen to the song lol

I love Carly & Erin! You two are so fun, and when I watch your videos or podcast it feels like I’m hanging out with friends. I look forward to it every week. When you two go off on tangents about Taylor Swift, you really do lose me, and when you go on and on about shows sometimes it’s just too much for too long. Also I feel like lately Carly has been carrying the podcast alone. Erin always seems so tired and couldn’t care any less (especially during ads). Erin you’re such a mean girl lately! Jeez. I can’t stand it.

I love this podcast but every week I swear you read the same AITAH that Two Hot Takes read the week before. There has to be more out there to read

I think this podcast has potential but I can’t stand Erin’s valley girl accent. I wish Carly would share more and things didn’t revolve around Erin’s life.
