    Told As It Is
I have been a Broncos fan since 1977 and have been through all the good times and bad with this team. Though I now live in Duluth, MN, I still avidly follow the team’s antics. Troy is a Denver sports icon who shares intimate insight through his reporting and coverage. I appreciate his direct analysis of all things Broncos and more, and his podcast is a go-to for me every week. Thank you!

Good content - tough listen though
Troy has good takes and is well connected. A Broncos fan will be more knowledgeable after listening to the podcast. The challenge is tolerating the brutal audio quality. When Troy and his associates interview players, the questions are inaudible. Half the time, the player answers are in mono (vs. stereo) and the sound level is so low, that you have to crank the volume up to heat their answers. Suddenly the interview is over and Troy is talking with his sound levels up where they should be and the volume on your device might still cranked up, thus blasting your ears out. Other favorites of mine include dogs barking in background and Troy sneezing halfway into his sentence - neither occasions were deemed worthy of a retake. I wish producers of content would occasionally listen to their own content. I’d be embarrassed to put out such an amateurish product.

    Love it, but one issue
I love getting the insight from Troy twice a week. Very informative information about my favorite team. My only issue is the volume of the interviews. I always have to turn the radio way up to be able to hear the questions and the answers, and then I about hole a speaker or my ear drums when Troy comes back on after the interview. The master control on the sound for the interviews needs to be brought up during production in order for it to be heard without having to crank up the sound. The sound issue is the only thing keeping me from giving the show 5 stars!

    Loved the most recent pod
Changed from 1 star to 4 star because Troy hunted down some new interviews. Love a Broncos pod that can provide exclusive content and new information!

    Good, but…
I like Troy. He is a good writer. Generally writers are better pod hosts, because they bring good content and know how to deliver a story. Where it falls short is this that Troy needs to throw money at it. He needs better audio, better editing, there needs to be a host to guide the conversation and add brevity. Being a one man show is very difficult and often creates repeat takes, ums and jumbled words. Another writer, possibly with a different take, would really add to the flow and character of the show.
