In a world of new latest a greatest! How refreshing!
Mike, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed listening to you and the gang in your podcast. I am a pro photographer and have been one for over 30 years. In the last several years I’ve enjoyed adapting old manual focus lenses to my Fuji mirrorless cameras. I like looking at old film cameras but don’t really have the urge to shoot film anymore. I make my living with digital but I still like to slow down and play with old manual lenses. I do a lot of traveling for my job and spend a lot of time in the car. You are doing a fantastic job with this podcast and even though I don’t have the want to go out and shoot film with old cameras, I’m still very interested in them. I enjoy listening to your podcast and I like the fact that you all stick to talking about old cameras and lenses and don’t get too of in the weeds of other like some other podcast have done. Some of the lenses I have a adapted to digital or Canon FD, Minolta MD, Pentax A, & SMC Takumar, X-Fujinon mount, Yashica ML, Carl Zeiss Jena Biortar 58mm f2.0, Konica AR, Topcor, Olympus OM, Nikon F, M42 of all flavors and M39. I’m always keeping my eye open for all cameras and lenses. Recently for $20.00, I found a Zeiss Ikon Contarex with a 50 F2 at a thrift store and the meter even works. I like it but not enough to keep it. Sure wish I could’ve doubt the lands though. Well enough about me, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy listening to your podcast. Keep up the great work as I know you love what you do. Great job! Greg
