My favorite podcast to start the day. Freddie and Jeff seem like good dudes. Both are big wrestling fans who keep their opinions honest but in a positive way. Freddie’s behind the scenes of when he worked in WWE is a cool feature that leads to some sick side quests. Jeff’s comedic background leads to some good laughs. Feels like I’m hanging out with friends talking wrestling. I have a hard time getting into WWE so some episodes I’m just here for the ride. More AEW would be awesome 😄 If you have to appeal to the masses or just aren’t as big of AEW fans, I get it. I’m just as interested in hanging out and hearing how life is going for you all. As someone who grew up watching Freddie on film I was super excited to find this podcast. Excited to hear his takes and past experience in the biz. He has not disappointed ever. Having my own wrestling podcast I don’t like listening to others so I don’t get influenced but this podcast is too good to pass on. Adding Jeff made the podcast even better. Funny takes better insights. Keep it up fellas!!

I love the show! Came back to wrestling because of my kids and this is a podcast we all look forward to listening to. Keep the content coming and we will keep listening. Even if Freddie doesn’t answer my IG messages asking him to guest spot on my show. Haha!

Love the show. Please have your loved ones stop spreading misinformation about fires. There is water. Minimal electricity which is reduced to not spread more fires, makes it hard to pump the water. The wind made it impossible to fight. Funding was cut 2% but a 200$ million dollar fund was given 2 months ago. This is not a partisan issue. It’s the world.

I really appreciate Freddie’s point of view and knowledge from his experience in writing wrestling. The only problem with the podcast are the ads which are way too many. I get that you have to make money etc, but the ads are so frequent and so long that it makes listening to the show unpleasant. If the show is 30 minutes, you can expect half to be just ads, sometimes more! I don’t even care that they are in Spanish, I just hate how frequently and how long they are. Would be five stars if it was a podcast with ads, instead of ads with a podcast sprinkled in.

It’s like 40% ads but i, a cis male saw She’s All That in the theatre like 4 times and the cohost used to ball Becky. 5⭐️

As a middle aged woman getting back into wrestling with my kids after dropping off decades ago myself, I wanted extra content to get up to speed. What sets this podcast apart from other wrestling content is that Freddie and Jeff are interested in the stories and character development as much as the physicality but Freddie’s insight into story building and acting are genuinely fascinating for fans who are invested in character building (we know it’s scripted - that’s why we love it!). Jeff Dye adds levity and a great sounding board so don’t sleep on him either. My Cultura - give these boys more content and fewer commercials!

I discovered Wrestling with Freddie last spring, and it has become a must listen for me every Wednesday and Thursday. I’m a humanities teacher at a boarding school in Connecticut and this spring I’ll be teaching an upper level English elective called “The Art of Storytelling in Professional Wrestling” (still can’t believe the class got approved!) I know this is a long shot, but I’d love to be able to chat with Freddie and Jeff about my ideas for the class! Regardless, thank you both for your fun and insightful show!

Love the show gentlemen! Been listening for over a year and enjoy your insider perspective, experiences, and Jeff’s comedy, random side quests, and pop culture tangents. This week I particularly enjoyed how you mentioned the writing/storyline process. The process you described has many parallels to education. As educators, we also “begin with the end in mind” and reverse engineer how we want our students to achieve success. Sometimes we have to scrap plans along the way or adjust on the fly as well. We are there to guide with best practices. Ultimately, like wrestlers, majority of student success comes from practice and individual ownership of the learning. Keep up the passionate work. All jokes aside, Freddie’s history in the industry brings a fresh take on todays product, his co-host Jeff Dye adds a fun element to the conversation, making this a must listen every week. I enjoy the pod and I am not even a big wrestling fan, but Freddie and Jeff make it a great listen with their insights. Freddie is one of my fav actors and a really good storyteller. I like hearing his writing experiences and creative process with the storylines and the characters. The side quests are fun too.

Really enjoy Freddie‘s perspective as it stands out from all the hundreds of other podcasts out there.

So glad I gave this a chance. I’m not a day one listener, but was always intrigued. Plan on supporting the fed once Freddie lands a TV deal. I’m an AEW die hard, but not a tribalist. Really rooting for you, Freddie!

Highly recommend Wrestling Freddie and Jeff. I enjoy their in depth insight into the sport and each of them has a different perspective, Freddie a former writer, and Jeff a fan of the sport.

I don’t listen to wrestling podcasts but once i heard Freddie had one i was subscribed. The love and passion he has when he talks and his co host is a great balance for his excitement. I really enjoy listening! Good luck!

Just came across this podcast and can’t stop listening, great and entertaining, only downfall is Il, I wish the podcasts were longer haha

This is so fun to listen to. I always find their point of view. Interesting and fascinating. I don’t always agree, but that’s exactly what geeks do. Including myself. I’ll always referred this podcast to non-wrestling fans so they can get it.

You might be a cunning linguist, but I am a master debater. LOL jk Seriously, though I agree 100% with Freddy, that the royal rumble is the best wrestling pay-per-view all year hands-down. It’s like Christmas to a true wrestling fan, when WWE actually lets the entrance be a surprise. I enjoy the show and the banter between the hosts very much. Also, it is interesting to hear Freddy’s experience having worked for WWE as a part of creative. Nice to hear podcasters who don’t troll their fans or E-beg for money. Love to have a Scooby snack or two and listen to this podcast. Keep up the good work.

But kind of confused on dates. This last episode, as in OCT 4th, they talk about Bray Wyatt as if he is still alive. I though I was losing it for a second. Should probably disclaim that this is a rerun or a previously unreleased episode.

I’ve listed to FPJ since Prinze and the Wolf and I was thrilled to learn he had a wrestling podcast. He is the best storyteller in whatever genre he speaks on and I love his insight on the industry. Jeff is a great comedian and provides another great perspective. Wish the show was longer but love the content!

I like Freddy and enjoy his thoughts and feelings on wrestling. That being said I think Wilmer Valderrama is gross and likes dating very young girls. For some reason Wilmer has an ad at every single ad break. I don’t like having this perv repeatedly read the same awful ad at every single ad break. Get rid of that disgusting person and that awful ad please.

Bro keep killing it weekly it doesn’t go unnoticed! Keep your style n delivery you’ve got your own style and thats what makes this show what it is 🤙

I have been a weekly listener since I listened to my first episode a few months ago. Fabulous work by Freddie and I really like his insider’s perspective. His buddy Jeff is excellent too and their interactions and conversations about wrestling really add to my enjoyment when I watch wrestling. And now there is bonus content too!! Give the fellas a listen if you are a wrestling fan, you’ll be glad you did!!

Freddie complains about too much video promos, and basic talkin, but not enough wrestling but, we should be complaining because we get the same exact ads for over half the show🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s the thing, I really enjoy hearing Freddie talk and give his thoughts about wrestling - be it telling his stories of working with WWE or reviewing shows or whatever. Freddie brings a unique and informative perspective. Unfortunately this podcast is primarily a home for ads, the amount of ad time there is for how little actual dialogue is gross. Maybe that’s a company thing but even still most of these episodes are really short and still are heavy on ads. It feels like Freddie just doesn’t have the time or focus to watch wrestling and do a proper weekly show and it reflects. Seriously there was an episode that was just 17 minutes, what is that?

I did not realize how involved he is with wrestling. He is talented in so many ways. His vocals and passion make for a great listen.

Freddie has experience as a writer for WWE, but instead of using that knowledge to talk about their shows, he gives 80% of each episode to AEW, which many wrestling fans (including myself) don’t watch. Need to balance out the discussion.

I totally understand needing ads. Y’all need to keep the lights on, it’s gotta be worth your time, I get it but oh my god is it so distracting with this show. It’s more ads than it is actual dialogue

A commercial with podcast interludes. Very little wrestling insights, just Prinze and a friend talking. Same commercials over and over, don’t bother.

I love this podcast. I enjoy your honest takes and as an “old school” viewer who’s starting to re-watch now that HHH took over it’s good to hear some perspective on what is going on. Plus the BTS shoots is awesome.

Podcast comes out over a week after your review of raw. We’ve already seen the next raw, yet your reviewing a raw from last week. Your stories and experiences were better than having a guy as a partner who knows nothing about the current scene. Please go back to season 1 format.

So I listen to Chris Van Vliet and on one episode Chris had Freddie on as a guest. I was unaware that Freddie worked with WWE & I was also surprised at how enjoyable their conversation was to listen to. So I decided to give this podcast a chance and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Freddie gives a unique prospective from his experiences behind the curtain at WWE and I encourage anyone that is a wrestling fan to give this podcast a chance, you won’t be disappointed.
