    Chill Maybe?
Was a good podcast until it became Paul talking about movies and Pablo going into excruciating detail about his niche fetish kinks. No thanks.

Come for the scared, stay for the gay!
Honestly, one of my top 3 podcasts of the week! Horror has always been gay, and it’s just amaaazing to hear about 🤩 the banter, the reviews, the anal-sys, the guests, when they are present 👻🔪💕 love these people! Thank you for being the horrifyingly delightful bright spot in the desolate sky that is my week! Muah, if wanted!

    Comfort horror
Hello Scared Gay! My name is Ari and I found your podcast early this year from Random Horror 9. As a Queer POC it’s so comforting to hear the enthusiasm and love you two have for the horror genre. From deep dives to informative trivia to straight comedy tangents, you two have never made me feel so normal and seen about my interest in horror movies and the impact they hold in LGBTQ+ culture. This podcast is the highlight of my work week and gets me hype to watch along for the next episode. Not to get too cheeky, but my birthday is September 13th and I have just one wish (okay maybe two); for you to review Hellraiser (original, 2, or 2022 but 2022 imo is for the gaygaze) OR (do a laugh here) for me to be the first random fan on the podcast. No obligation to do any of these btw I’m just poking fun. Hugs and kisses from Chicago. <3

    Chefs Kiss
I have been trying to find my horror movie podcast niche for a long time now and I finally discovered Scared Gay a couple days ago. I scrolled thru the reviewed movies and am so impressed! Pablo you are my twin flame! I relate so much to your views on the reviewed movies and Paul you add so much as a modern and more conservative viewer ! You two did such an amazing and tasteful reviews on the couple more “controversial” films reviewed. Us horror lovers don’t always LOVE the movies we see but we sometimes watch these things almost to simply discuss and review them… because at the end of the day… we are kind of morbid nerds right!? I’m cool with it. Thanks for such an entertaining and enjoyable podcast. I am a female welder and spend long days welding and listening to pods and yours really made my day today. Kisses from Kentucky ! -Grace

    Great Podcast to Check Out!
I work in a very stressful job and do not have much free time. However, I always make an effort to watch the horror film of the month and listen to this podcast. I only wish I could describe films with the incomparable panache, the consummate verve, the enthralling cadences, the delicate gestures, the evocative expressions of America’s greatest tragic actress…….. Pablo Escobar. And then there is Paul. Thank you for the many laughs and fun times! You are both equally great! Recommendation- The Omen with Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.

    Stab me, daddy!
Never have I wanted to be stabbed more than after listening to one of the Scared Gay! podcasts. Pablo and Paul dish out thought-provoking horror movie reviews with fun and playful banter. I’ve loved horror movies since I was a kid but haven’t always thought about their ties to the queer community. After listening to these podcast, I have a new appreciation for the horror genre and get more out of rewatching old horror movies, especially if they have some good eye candy like Pablo and Paul! I’m always interested to see what movie they’ll be throwing shade at next. Keep the episodes coming!

    I travel for this podcast
Travel, host, or ghost? I give this podcast a ‘Travel’ rating; I will go out of my way to get some good podcast from these guys. The episode on Heredity was one of the best they have done so far with their anal, sis of the complex family dynamics as well as healthy doses of humor. Listening to the podcast feels like sitting with my friends and laughing/discussing the horror movie of the week.

    Gimme gimme more
I’m a new listener, but an instant fan. Introduced to the pod via the Michael Varrati episode. Paul & Pablo are hilarious together, especially when they pair up with the Horror Daddies. Scared Gay! is a fantastic horror pod that is super gay and incredibly fun.

Horror has never been more fabulous!
After discovering your podcast via Peaches Christ, I’m totally hooked! I love when you review a movie I’ve seen or is dear to my black heart. I’m even more thrilled when I discover a new classic! My anal-sys… keep up the amazing work boyz!! I can’t wait to hear what you discuss next! 💜💜

Best Banter in a Horror Podcast
After listening to y’all on Random Number Generator Pod w/ Cecil and Jeffrey, I’ve been hooked. I love your better than Gilmore Girls queer banter, the real talk, and most importantly how much I’m learning about movies I know and love, as well as intros to movies I haven’t encountered. Thanks for being our guides, you’re the highlight of my week.

The best P& P out there
Seriously love y’all. Funny, witty, and just a great time. love how long the episodes are. You really take time to go over movie / actor facts while also going over the plot of the movie. Only thing I’d do different is maybe the you could replace the wolf howl at the start of your theme with Pablo’s oooOOOuuu because let’s be real here, it’s very close hahaha

    Scarily good (and gay)!
Love this show! These boys know horror like Carrie Bradshaw knows good sex. Love their movie insights and analysis and love their side stories and tangents. Do The Babadook soon please!

    Scary, campy fun!
I’m so glad I found this podcast in time to binge every episode for Halloween. The hosts are a delight, and I love the movie choices. The Peaches Christ episode may be my favorite, but they’re all so good. Instant subscribe. 👍

    Scare Me Gay? Yes Please!
No slasher flick left un-analyzed, no zombie reel left undiscussed! I think horror movies can be fun and interesting, and I love listening to Paul and Pablo break down these movies into discussion points. Learning the background, history, and their take on these flicks is a HORRIBLY FUN way to spend my podcast time!

Loved hearing such a specifically queer point of view on these films. Paul has the insider knowledge, and Pablo offers great social commentary.
