Belle 0929Season 2: Deep SouthI’m sure it is hard for some white people (even more southern whites) to listen to this season without feeling attacked, but good job with this one. Facts are facts…thank you for not sugarcoating or skipping over the obvious Southern foundational building blocks. The stories were new, lesser known and displays the depravity woven into that culture over centuries. Not just “bad apples “ …… its innate.

WynterbreezeReally enjoy this podcastI’ve been listening to his other channel he has “ This is Monsters “ for awhile now and I think this is a great addition just wish the episodes were a little longer 💙💙

eg portlandVery entertainingI love This is Monsters so I finally gave this podcast a listen and it is really good. The narrator is great at cramming a lot of info into a well written narrative. His voice is also pleasant and I like his droll humor. The worst part is those casino ads. I can’t figure out how to contribute so I can skip the ads.

jlawler410Thank youLongtime listener of This is Monsters, so I found this podcast from that show. I’m really enjoying it, and again am blown away by Giles talents and his heart. Thank you Giles for all of your hard work and efforts for us. Thank you also for including information for people who need help in the end of your episodes. Your care of people really shows in your productions. Always so well done.

Sammie WinstonDefinitely Great PodcastI love this podcast and look forward to new episodes. The host is intriguing and has selected compelling stories. He also hosts This Is Monsters, another great podcast. I also enjoy his wet sense of humor.

Kip ConnerGood stories, but…It’s a little annoying that so many of the proper names are mispronounced. A couple of these Georgia stories are local to me so I can confirm the mispronunciations. I hope that the stories that aren’t local to me don’t have the same issue.

tkpalmerLove both podcasts!I think the voice is great. So many others I have a hard time listening to. I enjoy the podcast.

althea72As usual ‘woke’ ragtime ruins everything…I listened to & enjoyed MONSTERS as soon as each episode came out. Even tho I prefer podcasts with hosts I enjoy so much I actually want ‘banter’ & longer episodes, to the point/shorter podcasts serve their purpose too. As episodes progressed I noticed the ‘snark’ wasnt just once/twice an episode, it was now part of entire episodes & ESPECIALLY if it played in to a liberal narrative, So I had to take a break. Then I saw this podcast & wanted to give it a shot! The idea behind it, lesser known victims sounded great & maybe he’d start fresh, WRONG! So unfortunate ‘woke’ ruin everything.

ZoyewrdsWanted to likeI really like the cases, but have to agree with others on the narrator’s voice. It sounds robotic and reminds me of amateur YouTube channels.

piclklypooJust the factsI like you dude, I really do. Here’s a valuable tip- When covering stories with a racial component you can just provide the facts without making “woke” statements. If you want to create something timeless that will still be listenable years from now you should ignore sociopolitical fads. The woke nonsense may make you popular with the antifa crowd now but 5-10 years down the road it will sound dated and silly. Just the facts

3bkANOTHER GREAT ONELesser known stories, cases covered with direct and clear narration. No banter , which is huuuge plus for me, I do enjoy the quick Witt thrown in there on occasion lol. The shorter format makes it nice to listen to when you don’t have hours or days to follow an episode Seriously give it shot ! And go listen to his other podcast, This is Monsters,

Benjamin.k25Interesting topics, awful newscaster voiceWhy are you doing that voice?!! I doubt that’s what you sound like all the time. You should be talking to us the same way you talk to your friends. That put-on fake voice is so distracting that it’s difficult to ignore and just listen to the story you’re telling. There’s no need to do that, just be yourself!

Wendelyn35Clean?Just a warning. If bad language offends you, then skip by this podcast.

Leemomx3Two of the best Podcasts! This is Monsters and Somewhere Sinister are two of my favorite podcasts. The best part is that you get the entire story in short succinct episodes (including the pithy remarks thrown in here and there). This format is perfect when I don’t have the time to invest in a long, drawn out, two hour tale of horror. As I typed that, I realized I just spent the last 4+ hours listening to all 14 episodes of SS…

ElizaSandersReally disappointedAs a Pacific NW native who has traveled to a few creepy places and is always on the hunt for podcasts about the area, I was sad to hear the Portland Street Kids episode. Portland, like many cities has struggled with houselessness for years. I don’t think the prevalence of murder is higher among the houseless youth population in Portland now or ever. I’d love to hear some facts instead of maligning kids that are already marginalized and traumatized by the mainstream media and community. There’s better cases to cover.

Corvus AndurilJust Plain Boring. The stories are boring, the presentation is boring, and the narrator's voice is boring/ isn't engaging.
-
mtbvicNation of IdahoI love your YouTube channel as well. Unmistakable voice. The PNW is very sinister I must say. Find something sinister in North Idaho. Like in coeur d’Alene. Love the show.

VinnyF911OutstandingThis is from the same guy who does my favorite all time podcast This is Monsters. So there is no way this can’t be an amazing listen. He does an amazing job of storytelling without injecting his personal opinion. He has such a smooth voice to me. And a great attention to detail. The best part No Banter. Don’t hesitate to listen to either show. They are amazing
