I’m sure the content could be good but I can not listen to banter and wrong pronunciation of every other word.

I’ve been listening to this podcast from the beginning. It’s very enjoyable, you get stories from the paranormal, cryptid and even aliens. A lot of the reviews complain about banter and hearing them chat. Read the show notes to skip if you don’t want to learn about hosts and listen to them talk about their every day lives. I know it’s difficult for some to actually READ a shows description and skip ahead if that’s not what you’re here for. Hearing them chat a bit is what sets it apart and makes you feel like your part of the TUSOP family. 🍻

13 minutes into a 31 minute episode they are still talking about non ghost stuff.

I had to stop listening to one of the episodes because the girl was chewing gum.

I’m looking for a new paranormal podcast and I want to like this more but there are times when I think a little more research was needed. I just listened to the Smurl family episode and they mention that “The Haunting of Hill House” was based on this, but that movie is actually an adaptation of the Shirley Jackson book of the same name. Since the book was published originally in 1959 and the Smurl family’s haunting happened over a decade later. “The Haunted” is indeed based on the family’s story but it is NOT the same as “Hill House”. Also, they say this is a podcast where they want you to make up your own mind but clearly everyone sans one is biased in favor of everything being paranormal, and often don’t provide many alternative explanations, except for sleep paralysis. They are willing to think that no one will hoax for monetary gain. Most cases up to this point have had any real investigations explained and those that are “investigated” are not scientific (the Warrens and other demonologists don’t do scientific method). This is an average paranormal podcast—nothing really makes it seem to stand out to me compared to any other paranormal podcast but it’s entertaining enough if you’re looking for scary stories that may or may not be true.

Love this podcast! On my way to work, I MUST have two things….TUSOP on the radio and my cup of coffee!! It’s what’s also playing on my way home as well!! Hate that Team Tejas left but the show must go on! TUSOP is in great hands. Keep up the great work!! Much love!

Want to like it but just about every time I click on this show, it’s just these dudes talking about random stuff in their lives. So confused here.

Really like paranormal podcasts BUT after ten minutes of silly banter I was done.

I love the balance between the two different groups. The stories are often subjects that you haven’t heard about from other podcasts. If you have, they either have more information or another side of it. I was HIGHLY impressed with the episode on the Gary Demon House since I’m from the Region. I’ve heard multiple podcasts on this cast but these guys still managed to pull new information that I didn’t even know. I will most definitely be binging the rest of the episodes on my flight from Indiana to Texas this weekend.
