Stumbling upon this podcast is such a blessing to me,…
… a million years ago I sat in the Dunn’s living room with you and several others for a weekly Bible study… when you’d lead us in worship I ALWAYS asked you to play the David Ruis song, “We Will Dance.” I think you found me a little annoying. 😆 But when you sang, or on the rare occasion that you spoke, I heard the wisdom God used your family history to bestow upon you. I still have in my mind the image of the man wandering in the wild, naked, crying out to the Lord.

Rita, you have been an inspiration to me since I was a little girl worshipping to your music. I love that I get to hear from you regularly on this podcast, like a spiritual mom to me that I’ve never met. I love how genuine and deep your conversations are and I always feel so encouraged after listening. Thank you for being obedient to the Lord in mothering a generation! I look forward to every episode!

    So healing 😭
The Lord has ministered so deeply to my heart through Rita for over 20 years, and so of course discovering her podcast was just another way God spoke through her to me. It’s been healing, comforting, challenging, convicting and deeply moving. Thank you Rita!!!

Is God still good? Yes He is
Sometimes it feels like God lets you look in my heart, mind and Spirit. Finally, a message about raising your fists to God and it’s OK. I’ve had chronic pain and physically limitations since October of 2003. And God is still good. Even when I got maybe 10 hours sleep a week because of pain. My kids aged 10,6and 2 living through this and as I was raging at God for how I was failing as a Mom. He said “do you trust me?” Or do you have to “do” for Me to be real? He is so good. I wasn’t instantly healed. But God used friends and family and church family to get us through. I have been so blessed and ministered through your anointing of worship. Please keep going to see how God still wants to use you. I have been a worship leader since I was 16. 37 years learning from the Lord and you. At a conference you said picture a chair in front of you even at practice. Picture Jesus and that is who you are singing too. Worship doesn’t need 25-30 to show up. Worship should happen with the first note. Thank you thank you thank you. I pray this makes sense. I’m usually to shy to give a review. But I couldn’t stay silent. God is still so Good.

    Interview with Steffany Gretzinger
The fact that you had to bleep out her bad language tells me she has nothing to say about practicing the presence that I want to learn. If she were practicing the presence, she would clean up her language in the presence of a holy God.

    Transparent and real
I have just started listening to the podcast and started with the two podcast that contain your testimony. Thank you so much for your honesty in your vulnerability in allowing us to hear the foundation from which God brought you into your songwriting and creativity. It has truly made an impact with me

    So real and so good
I am loving listening to Rita. Such a fun podcast, feeling like I’m sitting down in the room with her and listening in on conversations about Jesus with her friends. God is using their experiences to encourage others and glorify Him!

    The Real Deal
I look forward to Rita’s podcast every week. She is transparent in her walk with the Lord. She has faithfully served Christ in obedience and shares from her years of experience of hearing from the Lord and walking out her faith throughout all the different seasons. Her voice is inspiring and refreshing. I thank God for her journey and her call to pour out courage into others- I myself have been impacted for the better because of it!

    Just a voice from Kansas
I have loved the authenticity and beauty Rita brings to every conversation. She makes me want to allow God to stir the creative juices in me and I don’t consider myself a “creative.” In many ways, listening to Rita and the people she travels life with, inspires me to walk more honestly with Jesus. Thank you Rita!!

    Thankful for this podcast
Every episode is encouraging and there is always something to think and chew on further. The forgiveness episode was SO GOOD. I had to stop and spend time with the Lord and then finish the episode. Yes, Rita is truly a mother/mentor in worship. Thank you Rita! You have been mentoring me in worship for 25 years and I’m so thankful I now get to hear your heart through this podcast.

I was an attendee at two of your Fragrant Oil conferences
I sooo enjoy this podcast and hearing more of your back story and passion for our Jesus!! After hearing you share of someone giving you a “prophetic word” during one of the conferences(not sure if you mentioned which conference), I recall so vividly (during a time of you sitting at the piano and leading us in worship April 2006)the Lord impressing upon my mind a vision of this blond haired girl sitting on a wooden swing that was attached to a huge oak tree limb suspended by long ropes, with a man behind her and she was laughing and giggling and saying “push me higher, ohhh push me higher”! It was Jesus pushing the little 5-6 year old girl with long blond hair and I sensed strongly that the girl was you!! During the break I felt I was to share this with you(I’m not bold in this way at all!!) but I obediently did so. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your life story, your love for Jesus and others! Spurring us on in the gifts and call He has given to each of us so uniquely. I remember seeing little Justice playing among the instruments, dancing around and playing the drums. I too have an adopted child…a daughter from Kunming, China who is now 25 and married to an amazing Christian man(my late husband and I were blessed to adopt her when she was 10 months old). Looking forward to hearing more from you and sent with prayer for His favor upon you!! Rhonda Littlefield Highlands Ranch, CO
  • After Ezra before Ester
YHWH the father and JESUS attracts people to him.
Giving children a Christian upbringing is so important. The faith that Hannah has had since her youth is an example for young people today. Her songs really move me. I love how thankful she is to God In her music. Hannah, Brooke and Taya are such amazing people. Pray for them everyday so that their faith always stays as strong as in the beginning. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL INTERVIEW With Agape Love and much THANKS (I am after Ester and before Ezra)

    Amazing! 1 request though :)
I absolutely love listening to this podcast it’s breathing on and awakening so many things within me. I highly recommend this podcast. My one request would be to put the titles of books, albums, or any material recommended in the podcast to be written down in the episode notes so it makes it easier to find:)

    Deep Faith-Filled, Encouraging Conversation
I began listening to Rita’s music over a decade ago. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts. Rita shares openly and authentically. She has a knack for asking great questions that prompt deep, wonderful conversations between her and her guests. I’ve been very encouraged by many of the episodes. Keep up the great work, Rita!

    So so good!!
This podcast has been such a gift in my life and in the lives of so many others! I, like many others, have never met Rita, but every time I listen to an episode of her podcast, I feel as if I have been invited into the sacred space that is her home, sitting on the couch with a blanket and cup of coffee, just “sitting at her feet” in awe and wonder soaking up every bit of wisdom, truth, love, and presence of Jesus that flows from within her. I am so thankful for the person that Rita is and for the beautiful podcast that this is.

Tell your feet to walk again!
Rita, First off, I would like to say I have been a fan of your worship ministry as far back as I can remember. I love your authenticity, and realistic commentary on, well, everything it seems. Thank you for doing a podcast!!! This episode especially felt relatable, my Grandma was a powerful woman of God. She came to our little town Ashland, OR and started her own church when she was just a young single woman. She spoke Gods word to me and filled my life with His love. She always told me God was closer than my breath and that more than anything He wanted to be my friend. She always told me “no matter what, just ask Him.” I was 8 years old when she passed away I just knew she loved me more than anyone else… (haha I’m 43yrs now, I have found that she made everyone she met feel that way) it was soooo hard to lose her. As I lay in bed the night she passed, I prayed that God would let me see her and talk to her somehow again, I just felt like I could die, I missed her so. God is so good, He answered that prayer, she talked to me in my dreams! This went on as needed for quite some time. I can think back to our conversations in those dreams and realize that it was always the word of God told in Grandmas way, and I can honestly say that it saved my life. I just love the Mercy of God and His love for us! Thank you for this episode Rita, it has refreshed memories and given new life to testimonies I need to dust off.

    Powerful leadership takeaways
I have been so encouraged listening to the women in worship sharing their stories with Rita on the podcast. There have been so many powerful leadership takeaways and so many inspirational stories of the way God has moved and spoken to these women in leadership.

Storytime with Rita is time worth spending
Loving these podcasts mostly because I love story. And I love you're bringing on people I'm not aware of - broadening my horizon and faith.

    Look forward to each podcast
I always know I am going to feel inspired and encouraged by hearing peoples stories (testimonies) of how God met them right where they are and how He does amazing things in the lives of those who are willing to surrender. Love Rita’s heart and the way she digs in to the stories of how God has worked in peoples lives. Keep them coming!

The right story for the times that we are living
I’ve been listening to Rita’s beautiful songs, unique voice and reading her profound writings for many years now. Her testimony of Jesus and His faithfulness on this podcast is breathtaking. I will share with people around my world. Thank you Rita… so grateful for the beauty that you bring to the body of Christ and always crossing the bridges to all generations 💙

    YES!
Thank you Rita for giving plenty of time and space for conversations to play out, for stories to be told, for real emotion to come forth, and for the pain of life to be shared. Your podcasts are a shared experience, and I’m truly grateful for each episode. But I really like about your podcast are that they are not just 30 minutes long but sometimes two hours long. I feel like it gives my mind time and space to work through things, and to receive the golden nuggets being shared. I love listening to you talk, and I have thoroughly enjoyed all the episodes I’ve listened to. God used your conversation with Jessica and Cecily to really help my mind have some better understanding of some circumstances in my life! Thank you for taking the time!

    LOVE YOU, RITA!
Rita is one of my favorite voices out there. I love the way she loves Jesus. She taught me how to hear the voice of the Lord in a new way. And she challenges me in ways no one else ever has!! This podcast is such a GIFT!! Listen now!

    Love you Rita!
I really love these shows. So good, it’s like I’m sitting right next to you having a conversation. I appreciate your honesty and passion for our Lord who has used you in so many wonderful ways! Thank you for sharing your testimony it is beautiful. I find myself really digging into each person you are talking with and their stories or their nexts steps with Jesus. It helps remind me of my journey and to never stop, keep moving in my relationships with God and dig deeper. The bad behavior podcast was excellent and a great reminder again, stay focused on Jesus and do not become weak in your faith. Stay strong, read the Bible, and live it out! Be the example and God is with us! One of my favorite worship songs is You are still Holy. I love the way you sing it and bring the presence of God to us through the gift He gave you.

    Nourishment for the Soul
I listen to this podcast every Saturday morning while resting from the week. I have been a Rita Springer fan since I was a child and I heard “Make Us a Prayer.” My spirit groaned and responded to the lyrics in that song as a young girl. From that point on, I felt a deep hunger for the depth of relationship with the Lord that Rita exemplified. Each time from that point forward any gift Rita has given the world wether by song, prophetic word, book, and now this podcast— they have all nourished my soul and drawn me closer to His heart. I didn’t even know we could have as close of a relationship with the Lord as she talks about! Thank you Rita for inviting me into your stories and wisdom so I can press into connection with Holy Spirit in ways I had never even dreamed of.

    Parable or Direct Meeting
The thought of this who am I speaking to? Is it a parable meeting or a direct meeting and that God is with each of these people. That’s beautiful wisdom. Rita, this podcast is truly a treasure and gift to me. Thank you for sharing your heart and words. You’ve been a mentor in my life since I was a little girl who was hungry for God and his presence. This podcast has reminded me of so much that God has done in my life. Thank you.

    Absolutely Wonderful!
Rita’s podcast is absolutely wonderful! She takes her listeners on a journey, being totally transparent along the way. Some things are so intimate that you feel like you’re in her home, having a cup of tea, while she shares her thoughts and stories with you. There is such a deep connection! Ruined Forever!
Rita’s podcast is my first and I have listened to most episodes literally 10x and I am ruined! There is no other podcast that compares. She has walked me through pieces of my childhood I had placed on a shelf, seasons of pain I couldn’t articulate and brings resolve beyond measure. I am so grateful she took this risk————You are KILLIN IT, Sis!

    So what I needed!
After attending a woman’s conference at my church and hearing Rita as one of the guest speakers, I wanted more! More of this authentic, Spirit lead, convicting, yet inspiring teaching!!! Rita is filled with such an anointing and power from the Lord, but her presentation is so Christ focused and raw. I feel like I found another mentor to help me in my walk with the Lord as I seek to walk with Him into all that He has for me! Listen, be changed and change your world for Christ!!!

It’s gonna be worth it ..
Wow!!! Just what I needed in my life!!! Love hearing a soul being poured out into others about Christ! I love the reminder of those rooms in my heart that I’ve opened and the doors I’ve closed to Him. Balance in the Lord. Cleaning out my in laws storage and was reminded in my spirit that the Lord meets us where we are at. God Bless you my sister in Christ! Heidi D -Florida

    Fire and honey
These episodes feel a bit like standing in the fire and Standing under the sweet as honey weight of glory all at the same time. Tears and laughter, truth in love, spoken with such conviction and humility… every Friday my heart leaps a bit at the site of a new post. It’s like sitting with your favorite Auntie as she shares her friends and stories of Life, ministry, Jesus, brokenness and healing. After each is done I feel like I’ve been refined by the fire, pulled closer to Jesus and drenched in Sweet Honey for my soul! Thanks for stepping into this Rita!!!

    Rita shares God in poems…
I’ve had the honor of listening to Rita share her testimony, the wild stories of her life, her worship leading & songwriting and then even had her prophesy directly over me. The depth of wisdom in this woman is RICH …. And she’s so freakin funny! Thank GOD she started this podcast so everyone can now learn from her. Plus, half the time she describes things in what sounds like song lyrics. What a gift she is to Creatives who love their Creator. Listen and be encouraged, people!

    Great Podcast!
Thanks for sharing your experiences and helping make a difference in others lives! This podcast has helped me so much in the short time I’ve been listening.
