JannerJMLListen then RespondI just finished listening to: The Ultimate Guide to Women’s Hormones. Mel, you repeatedly interrupted your guest at very strategic points where the Dr. was preparing to share some specific guidelines and BOOM - you interrupted and the rhythm and thread was lost. Such great information offered but so frustrating for your listeners who are on the edge of their seats—listening for the suggestions and insights. I would like to recommend that you feature a guest who is an expert on LISTENING and use the interview as a real life, real time exercise for YOU to practice and hone that skill. I am not the only reviewer who feels this way. Please take the opportunity to listen to these reviews and improve your platform.

avargosLove you but get to the pointMel, I am a huge fan and I listen at least one to two times a week. And have read your books. But I’m struggling through the podcasts the last several weeks as the first 20 to 35 minutes is just a prep for the rest of the show. I feel like getting to the point faster helps a lot of people stay tuned in. There has just been so much filler before getting to the actual content. Which is still great content, but I find myself literally skipping tons of the first part of the show. I’m sure there is a method to this at some extent, but it’s been really painful for me as a listener.

emilyelizabeth.nIt changed my lifeThis podcast truly changed the way I view myself, life, others and the list goes on. Mel is so unbelievably talented and she has great advice. You can tell she loves what she’s doing and her hard work and dedication definitely shows. She has taught me so much I just want to give her a big hug and say thank you. She also organizes her information in a way that is so easy to understand especially as someone who has ADHD; I am able to understand and comprehend what she’s saying lol. 100/10 podcast will listen to forever. Thank you Mel. 💓

total drama lenordMel Robbin’s Needs an EditorI wanted to like it truly, but what is the limit on repeating the phrase “stress diarrhea “ ? She repeats phrases ad nauseum. She is too smart for this to be accidental. Inside more minutes means more ad time.

Andrea-MillerLet me learn all the thingsMel, I can’t say enough good things about everything that you have taught me over the years and how sad I was to have missed the tour. I am thrilled that you will be coming back for 2026 and I pray I will be able to attend.Although you weren’t too far from my home last year, I wasn’t able to make it work. My vote is for a stop in or near Detroit, Michigan. I am a podcaster too, and I love the let them theory using the nuggets throughout my life on a daily basis. Keep doing all the amazing things you’re doing!

mugonlyJefferson FischerI use my whiteboard to write down things to help me. On the Jefferson Fisher episode. I work with a difficult coworker that is always trying to control and belittle me so these are going in my planner and I’ll transfer every week until I say the right thing so I don’t lose my job. Thanks to you guys because she pick pick pick pick pick at me until the lion roars.

Fred$-)Regarding episode 298Usually, I love your episodes, but when I hear about Charlemagne recommending looking into the sun… That sounds extremely dangerous and irresponsible. Hopefully listeners don’t try that.
-
Bren MelBryan StevensonI’m not a regular listener but I have followed Bryan and admired his work for many years. Your conversation with him was among the best I’ve heard. Very inspiring and thought provoking. Feature more guests of his caliber and perhaps I will subscribe! Thanks.

SanAnton RoseNopeLet them….speak. So annoying. Can’t listen.
-
TClaire1123A lot of episodes are fluff and fillerI just spent 45 minutes listening to one podcast where there was no additional content beyond what was given in the teaser to the episode. Very frustrating. I love Mel, but I feel disrespected as a listener when this happens… and sadly it’s actually not that uncommon. Her writers need to do better. I’ve been listening less and less because of this, and after this episode, I feel like “I’m out” on this show.
-
ajajajkdlcpThe podcast with Bryan StevensonOh my gosh I cried so much. This episode is probably the best one. So amazing and inspiring.
-
Liz BucarAccessible and SmartLoving Mel’s interview style…she always has the best guests and asked the questions your super thoughtful friend would.
-
Dave CrosswhiteI like to call them Boulevard WheatThis is so inspiring. I like to call her Kendrick and Henry’s personal Guru. Mel leads with denim and has never been to PT’s at Pecos and Sunset in Nevada. If you say other wise, Kendrick Lamar and Henry of Last podcast on the left will call the police on you.
-
CityGirlnChiGreat guests!Enjoying the variety of guests and topics! Wish there were more career topics and experts (Jenny Wood would be great!) included as well. Thanks for the good show, Mel!
-
FlowerGal1974Great infoLove the great information and interesting guests in this podcast. Have to hold back that last star because of the nonstop hard-sell by the host. I find it distracting and exhausting. I often have to turn the show off because of it. Other than that, the show is really interesting.
-
Chef MelindaI needed to find here at this time in my lifeSo many helpful topics that have been life changing for me. What similar lives we have lead.
-
Viper0110Quit interrupting your guests!!!!I love your podcast but your constant interruptions are infuriating! Every time one of your guests starts to give info you butt in!!
-
ANGIE1015I found Mel at the hardest time of my lifeThank you Mel. I don’t know where would I be today if I didn’t found you. Thank you for all you do, you are a miracle to this universe. ❤️
-
Please listen betterPlease stop interrupting the your guestsI like Mel, and I’m so grateful that she speaks about topics that affect many women but are often not discussed. Thank you, thank you! But, it is very frustrating as a listener when the guest is trying to give expert information and Mel is interrupting her with a personal comment or a second question when the first one hasn’t been fully answered. Please allow your guests to share their knowledge.
-
Sammii58Great topicsMel has some great topics and speakers on the pod however, I feel like we don’t get to hear their full answers because Mel is always interrupting. I would prefer if the speaker can speak on the topics without interrupting so we can hear the information. It is distracting trying to listen to the answer with constant interruptions.

#mybadSeason TicketsIt’s all to beautiful I love to treasure hunt, doing whatever fuels my quest in Zion, The city that never sleep. Exotic turns just waiting to see a water fall or go bathe in one

Klara47NO!I stopped listning after a while. If you have lived lng enough to have sim life experience, her “ mind blowing” advice should have been learned already in one way or another. In fact that she talks aweful about her elderly parents is mind boggling to me. She is Instagramer that now public fuels her popularity and in reality nothing realy mindblowing abouther.
-
Not Drinking the Kool AidOne episode cannot change your lifeThis is an insulting podcast tormenting those who struggle with “treatment resistant” conditions and live in situations of crisis.
-
SlimSexySUWeekly ListenI’m enjoying the show!
-
SQA12Fabulous podcastGreat content that is research supported! Interesting discussions! Highly recommend!

Team CricketEpisode 290Maybe it’s “connection”?? When you were both talking about the positive health (physical and mental) impacts of spiritual and religious practices - I was thinking that we could probably look at this from another angle. Maybe church or spiritual thinking is the medium but I believe it’s a connection with others (or nature) that are the true root causes for mental and physical health improvements. All the religious and spiritual people i know are more connected to people and nature. Also, I’m a practicing Buddhist - which probably jades my beliefs a bit. ;) Thx for a great episode!
-
FuzzyWorldBackwards ego-centric mindsetThe general attitude of this show seems to be: How can I realize and manifest that I’m better than others. I just can’t listen to this. It’s the exact thing that is wrong with our world and society.
-
VaishgaPl let the guest speak.Mel has great guests and great conversations but I feel we don’t get the complete benefit of the guests’ knowledge and ideas because Mel continues to talk more than the guest. My request - please let the guest speak. Thanks
-
Nell nell the smellRegurgitated informationI had listened to the show for quite some time but decided to stop after I was getting sick of her talking over her guests. Nonstop interruptions . She’s just so full of herself! Also was getting sick of listening to her chain smoker sounding voice.

lkjsbbrbScience doesn’t prove thingsPet peeve of mine. It’s impossible to scientifically prove anything in the affirmative. We seek to disprove things. It’s all the math we use allows. We accept, after decades and decades of finding no other suitable explanation, that one explanation, or hypothesis, is likely true. But prove? With one or 10 studies? In the affirmative? No. We can only disprove. It would help people understand science and scientific speech better if we all used correct language. Thanks!

Dan22##Please shut upWhy are Americans so easily scammed by narcissists like this scammer? What is it that makes Americans so stupid?

arielfullerHelping through the hardest daysI’m a natural skeptic so I am always a little wary of motivational speakers, but let me tell you Mel just comes across as so real and genuine and vulnerable. She offers the best advice and has great guests on the show that provide really helpful and actionable insights. I’m not one to jump on a bandwagon but I’m pretty sure if Mel ran a cult I’d probably sign up. I’m kidding but this podcast has truly helped me on some rough days and I know I can hit play or open one of her books when I need to reset my mind in a more positive direction. She lets you know that you aren’t alone and then arms you with the tools to get back up again. Thank you, Mel for spreading light when things feel heavy.

chanteldemierLove the guestsGreat topics discussed

JeanbudDr. Lindsay Gibson episode NO.You don’t have to like your parents, but you do need to take responsibility for your own mental health. Blaming parents gets you stuck. Move on. This interview and author is a tale as old as time. Nothing new here. Unfollowing this show. Nothing new or interesting.
-
mrjkoIncredible. Insightful. Astounding. This podcast is exactly what I’ve been needing in my life. Mel Robbins is like a friend talking to me about issues I’m experiencing. Thank you 🙌
-
Economicsbuff2014So annoyingI love mental health but just hearing her annoying voice gives me a headache
-
reptile alienAmazing podcast!Every episode I’ve listened to has been truly incredible! Can’t express how much Mel Robbins has helped me find clarity, purpose, and happiness in my life just by listening to her remarkable research, insight, knowledge and guest speakers. Give Mel Robbins a listen. You won’t regret it! Love you Mel!

GEMmom358This podcast is a life changerMel gives the support and advice that I never knew I needed. I had found myself overwhelmed with the news cycle and feeling helpless in the direction of my life. One morning I decided to try a podcast instead of doom scrolling. I found Mel and I’m never looking back. Each episode helps me better understand myself and the people closest to me. I leave each episode feeling calm, motivated, and with the energy to face my day with a positive outlook.

Not just for athletes! So glad I found you!I’m on a long road trip from Austin to my summer home in Chester, VT during a transitional time in my life trip. Listened to your episode with Jay Shetty twice (the second time to take actionable notes). I am three years out from losing my partner of 40+ years to pancreatic cancer. I am looking forward, not back, and creating/recreating my script. Thanks for so much great inspiration about wellness and possibilities. Will be a follower of the podcast for sure.
-
vanesss kIt’s Like Mel is in My Brain!Every episode is exactly what I need, when I need it. So many knowledgeable guests and Mel always helps break it down so it really sticks. So grateful for Mel.
-
Dr. RuthieTimelyThis episode is timely, meaning whenever you hear it it is the perfect time that you needed to hear it. Thank You:)!!!
-
Literallyjustagirl1993Mel is so relatableI already thought that Mel was relatable and then I listen to the latest podcast about being a mom and I just cannot relate anymore to her thank you, Mel
-
Hkimball23The friend & subjects you didn’t know you needed!Mel has conversations as if you are the friend in the room too. Her way of communicating and making people feel seen and validated is unmatched. I almost have to remind myself if I saw her IRL, she wouldn’t know me bc I feel like I know her as a close friend. By far my favorite podcast to listen to and it feels as though it’s every subject I never knew I needed to hear til I listened. She is life changing for me and how I engage with people around me. I could never thank her enough and one day wish to hug her in person to say this. 🥰
-
LibbycwHow did you let #285 air?Shocking you let this play. I’m literally concerned for people hearing a message to avoid supplements and MRIs that have helped so many people detect early health issues. One of the most recent supplement published studies was on the aging population and collagen supplements. It showed muscle retention. Thats pivotal for that age group. This is so disappointing
-
dallas61A little repetitiveWhat started out as repetitive is now completely formulaic. Mel says the same thing to start every episode and it takes 5-10 minutes to do so. Mel seems to think her audience is not smart the way she repeats everything and breaks it down for a 5 year old. Give your listeners a little credit. Mel has decent guests at least some of the time but has anyone else noticed the round robin interviews of a set of podcasters? They are all just interviewing each other without many of them being experts in anything. I’ll do your show if you do mine is how it seems.
-
MJWR 2023Dr TopolLove you Mel! I really enjoyed the episode with Dr Topol BUT his position on supplements is so concerning to me and I think can be very much misunderstood by the audience. If a person has low vitamin B or D for example, supplementing is extremely important and will absolutely make a difference to their health yet Dr Topol is telling us that there is no evidence to support the use of supplements and that they are only making a difference in our urine?

Primer310Lost itShe had a “WORLD WIDE sex expert” on and said having sex before bedtime is bad and having sex on dates should not be the best part of the date . . . . . Excuse me B! Who the heck called you an expert?

JackH6780Plagiarized pop psychologyThe Mel Robbins Podcast is a masterclass in saying a lot without actually saying much. Mel’s delivery is confident, sure—but the advice? It’s oversimplified, surface-level, and often feels more like recycled Instagram captions than meaningful insight. What’s more frustrating is the lack of originality. The now-viral “Let Them” theory, which Robbins presents as a transformative mindset shift, wasn’t even her idea. It came from Cassie Phillips, a mindset coach who shared that concept long before Robbins ever mentioned it. A quick Google search is all it takes to find the real source. Giving credit matters, especially when your entire platform is built on “life-changing” ideas. If you’re looking for depth, substance, or genuinely original thought, this isn’t the podcast for you. But if you’re fine with motivational fluff repackaged from other creators, then Mel’s got plenty of that on tap.
