Mo426Food talk with emotionAdam is a fantastic conversationalist and he strikes up great memories of food and life with his guests. Fun listen.

NellygoatGreat host, needs a few tweaksAdam is a great host. He makes the guest the main focus, whereas many podcasters just talk about themselves. He’s informed, intuitive and gracious. His voice is not annoying. I love the questions he asks. I love the final questions. However, I could really do without all the piped-in sound effects. They’re distracting, choppy, often too loud, and simply unnecessary with such a great host and guests. Also the instrumental music that fades in and out is too loud, and much of it sounds like the music in practically every Millennial travel vlog.

DenimDan22Got me back into podcasting on the app!Have had a recent resurgence of interest in cooking/culinary. Came across this podcast and it’s been inspiring for sure. Got a feeling this will lead me to some more food related content. More please!

Mathew NelsonSo far, so goodStumbled into this podcast and loving it. I generally don’t like interview, free form shows - people are not nearly as witty and funny as they think they are - but Adam does an amazing job interviewing. It is clear he has done the background research. He also asks good questions and I love the vibe he has.

eggprotienisgoodI enjoyed it (but….)I loved the stories, tears, joy, and laughter, but I didn’t like the formulaic questions. By themselves, they unveiled a beautiful story, rich with emotion. And I wanted to hear more of that emotion! The nostalgia! The tears! But the pacing of the podcast made it feel like those emotions were cut short. It felt like Adam was rushing things (or maybe it was the way it was edited…uncut version somewhere?). In short, I like it, but I think the need to ask every question infringed upon the beauty of chef’s answers. I wanna hear more of that emotion! 2 hour episodes or something!

@BrettSBakerWhen the greats collaborateFor a longtime now First We Feast has prided itself on making their products as fantastic as the people, and the foods, they cover. This podcast is no exception. Given, it’s only one episode, but they’ve already done things I’ve long-wished other storytellers would do, get out of the studio. The simple sound of a woman rhythmically making pasta adds another dynamic layer to the effort. As do the other clips sprinkled through the interview. It’s excellent storytelling. Really excited to hear the rest of what Adam and friends have in store for us.

Dat Guy (TX)If you hear it, you KNOWIf the level of passion for food, storytelling and life can continue to be as palpable as it is in this first episode, this will quickly become a podcast addiction. The love can actually be heard and felt within the experiences and details, that Evan Bunke shares. Adam is an excellent host for this type of engagement. Adam’s ability to bring genuine emotional intrigue, while continuing to keep his touch of lighthearted humor, is the perfect recipe. Looking forward to hearing more and to who’s to come!
