I Depend on City Cast Madison. I’m sort of a new Madison resident and City Cast keeps me informed about Madison happenings! Thanks, Bianca!

time for mayor satya to move on. she has caused enough damage in our city for us to say stop, no more! She represents a niche group snd not all citizens. I for one cannot wait to see her gone!

TODAAAY!! I love the Madison hosts so much, they deliver news with a positive outlook and approachable tone. Listening to this regularly made me feel like a part of the city and aware of aspects to issues I would not have engaged with before. I love the national episodes. I just wish I had an easier way to catalog the episodes to just specific topics (like Friday new roundup only or restaurant episodes) or a list of all the restaurants they have spoken to in an easy format.

Its topic dependent whether I listen because the hosts are pretty insufferable.

But the hosts are kinda insufferable.

I like having a short local news/stories option in City Cast Madison that I can listen to before or after I listen to a nat’l. news podcast. It could easily be a dry public affairs thing like you used to see on TV, but thankfully it keeps you engaged, the topics are wide-ranging, and the 20-30 minutes tend to go by all too quickly.

These are nicely varied in topic. The latest, about Chris and Lori’s scones, is terrific. This is a tough niche, with the emphasis on positive, upbeat stories, and these are mostly well done. Professional. My only criticism, and it is a very small one, is the occasional lapse in to lazy writing in your promotions and introductions: “ya” “wanna” “gonna.” Good luck to the City Cast Madison enterprise.

Especially enjoy the Friday news round ups

It’s nice to hear Dylan on the podcast again. He’s a great interviewer and good moderator of the roundup. And , like, doesn’t use, like, a lot of filler words. Ya know? Tina

Great show, insightful stories, goofy commentary and fun event reminders abound in this enjoyable <20 min cast. Great work Bianca, Dylan and Molly, keep it up!

Love the show for news and info about the Madison area that I don’t get elsewhere. But it can’t seem to decide whether it is content-driven or personality-driven. I’m here for the journalistic content, so it doesn’t add much to me to hear the hosts break into song, accurately pronounce French words, or give Twitter-style hot takes on the news. I’m more interested in the news itself - which again, they do a great job presenting. I could see my mom loving all that personality, as do plenty of other reviewers. You might too! I could do with less.

The episodes are diverse with both discussions and fascinating interviews. The library card episode was revelatory! Great job!

I love Bianca’s positivity, and it’s great to keep tabs on everything going on in Madison for the week. Listening to this podcast helps me start my day on the right foot.

After listening to a few episodes it's clear that the host is just not for me. Good topics though, will probably check in again in a couple of months to see if it's improved.

I feel like this podcast just gets me, you know? But seriously, Bianca does such a great job drawing people in and making them want to keep listening, regardless of who she’s talking with, and her joy, curiosity, and love for Madison are infectious. Great job to Molly and Dylan as well, both on and off mic, for making this can’t-miss podcast. Power team!

I love this pod about our wonderful city. The host is just a kind, thoughtful person, she brings value to her listeners as well as good information. Keep making a great podcast.

I’ve already learned so much! It’s so very well produced and Bianca is amazing at keeping the listener engaged. Loving the way she dives deep on one topic and gives a bit of info about other area happenings at the end.

I could listen to Bianca all day — and I’m so excited to hear more of the City Cast team’s smart takes on Madison. Love what you guys are doing!
