Unique and I like the actors. The way the actress playing Nancy plays her role, changing from her thoughts to what is happening is very well done.

Can be a bit dramatic for no reason but it’s an alright story line

Amazing! Loved this podcast and with that cliffhanger I definitely need a second season, but per usual they will forgot all about this amazing podcast and leave everyone disappointed again! While I love this show there probably not gonna make a second season, so don’t leave it on a cliffhanger!

The evolvement of her relationship with the vampire next door results in an introverted and overlooked techie becoming a Renfield extraordinaire as she discovers a real knack for cleaning up after a neighbor who doesn’t quite understand the repercussions of a life lived on-line. An original take on what happens when an ancient being relocates in the digital age. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed it a lot even though it’s cheesy at times and almost cartoony in how the characters are. Doubt they’ll make a second season as QCode rarely finishes a story.

Love this- fast paced, character driven with awesome plot…I need the 2nd season like yesterday! Fans of true crime who are maybe a little toooo into it will enjoy this audio drama!

Lots of reviews criticizing the main character, and yeah, she’s a little much. But haven’t we all met a Nancy before? Why does everything have to happen to “interesting” or “cool” or “ normal” “likable” people? That’s the whole point of her character, and that’s what kept me going. How is she going to go off the deep end? Because that’s what you know she’s going to do. How is she going to royally mess stuff up? Because you know she will. And it’s made interesting because there’s huge stakes - murder and vampires - and how often does a character like Nancy get involved in that kind of thing? There’s certainly things I would have written differently, but it’s not my story and I have to say I respect it for what it is.

It has potential, but Nancy is just too stupid to listen to. The whole thing would be better if she would just shut up and pay attention. Failing that, she should have been whacked in the first episode. Unbearable.

Amazing. After listening to the first episode I was like this is not for me way to scary, but it had me hooked. I kept listening and fell in love! I recommend this podcast to anyone and everyone.

Is so deplorable! Jesus! If the intention was to create a character we would all hate- this show did an amazing job ! Definitely hard to put down.

Shallow two dimensional writing. It’s a series of geek and jock cliches duct taped together with hot topic goth vampire boobies. The characters are 100% predictable played out and completely un inspired. It’s like the teen angst of a budding school shooters journal was fleshed out into a buddy fantasy with an equally shallow vampire hotty. You have seen every single character before and most of them done better. It so very wants to be Buffy but completely lacks the self awareness and campyness that made it a b rated masterpiece. It takes itself far to seriously which is hilarious given the plot devices would be predictable even by new Star Trek standards. The main character is just god awful. I can’t empathize in the slightest because she is genuinely a terrible person. It’s just a collection of douche bags any sane human would have zero investment in and frankly would prefer if the totality of the cast met some hideous demise sooner than later.

incredible. (SPOILERS-AHEAD) nancy starts out as an annoying character with not a lot of personality but as the story goes on, she turns into this horrific sociopath character with much more development than I thought. and the fact that Elle realizes she’s created a monster is great. if 6 out of 5 was an option to rate this that’s what it would be. this is a must listen

I am just finishing the first episode, and I am hooked. I love the main character, and I am fascinated by the relationship between the two women. I’m going to share this podcast with one of my friends.

You review writes “I don’t like the main character”, but the character becomes more interesting later which you would know if you would simply just cut out your “I hate not picture perfect protagonist”, oh and guess a hatred towards “Nerdies”. Also she is kind of more like showing what emotions being hidden for a long time can do to a person Also also most likely a season 2 will give her more character development and less murderer like things about her

She sociopaths don’t have the same emotions as us. Psychopaths don’t have emotions but fear, anxiety, and sadness is what they lack. Nancy more or so gives a functioning autistic person (I know a few who can feel anxiety and sadness just not for others only themselves some of have sense of empathy or sympathy at all NOT ALL THOUGH). I’d say Nancy isn’t a psychopath or a sociopath.

I’ve listened to a lot of narrative podcasts and generally love the characters but Nancy may be the most unlikeable character in the history of iPhones! I can’t tell if it’s the writing or the acting but she is dull, whiny, annoying and shrew-like. Thankfully, Elle was a great character and the sound design was really good. If there’s a season 2, please please please get Elle a new familiar.

Main character got on my nerves 🙄 but overall I loved this podcast.

I wanted to like this podcast, but the main character is so unbearably annoying I couldn’t stand it much longer.

I wasn't expecting this twist on the story. Enjoyed every single one. Can't wait for season 2

I really wanted to enjoy this show, but it just falls short. Nice try, I guess, but it sounds like a a high school writing project, overacted and overproduced. They call it “immersive audio” but it’s too many gimmicky slurping sound effects and Nancy’s nervous anxiety is way overplayed. Sounds like Twilight fan fiction.

Just a masterpiece. The characters are amazing, the story line is flawless. 💯

I love the part of Nancy, I have such mixed feelings when I listen, it's great. At first I felt sorry for her, she's funny although not trying to be and she is also horrifying. I can't wait to see what she does next.

Love the show but does every single fiction podcast need to have an annoying anxiety ridden, scaredy cat female? It is so annoying to listen to Nancy’s constant anxiety. At least this podcast helps her find her power; being something worse than a vampire….

We made this one a family affair!! We love a good vampire flick and this podcast did not disappoint!! We cannot wait until next season airs!! Great voice actors, great characters, great storyline, 5 stars all around!! Nancy is everyone’s favorite lil maniac!

I’m addicted. The writing is truly phenomenal. I can’t believe this is an audio show, yet it’s so vivid. I’m gorging the whole season, I need to know what happens to Nancy and Elle

The voice actors are clearly skilled and are doing the best they can, but the dialogue scripting for the first couple of episodes is rough. It improves significantly by episode 5 or 6.

This is a good pod, it’s really entertaining and the writing is suspenseful and fun.

after hearing the trailer on a different podcast I came here hoping for an exciting wlw vampire drama. so far they’re leaning toward a different direction but overall still well written. love the fiction aspect of QCODES podcasts. they’re exactly as advertised, immersive. only complaint i have is that nancy is sorta lame. her character was written so inconsistent, it’s frustrating. i can’t tell if she’s just supposed to have a inconsistent personality or if it’s a mistake in her character

Really love this story I won't rest until next season.
