Terrifying Questions

Eric Kaplan, a comedy writer (Futurama, Big Bang Theory) and doctor of philosophy, and Taylor Carman (Barnard College, Columbia University), a philosophy professor specializing in phenomenology, existentialism, and hermeneutics, host a podcast that addresses unsettling questions concerning human existence and the order of things with the goal of finding a path to courage using comedy, imagination, and dialogue. Along the way they occasionally grapple with the deep uncanniness of being.

    Yes yet another Philosophy podcast!
I didn’t think I needed more than Very Bad Wizards or Partially Examined Life or even Sean Carroll, but Eric and Taylor manage to turn over fresh soil, and where I don’t always agree with Eric, his sense of humor softens me up for conclusions that go against the grain of my intuitions. Kind of the way I feel about Wes on PEL, intellectually, cuz Wes isn’t funny. Also their theme music slaps.

Excellent for everyone interested in philosophy
Really happy that they make philosophy accessible to all levels of experience without watering it down. They refer to philosophers and questions that we study in departments of philosophy but explained well enough that anyone can follow along
