Was better earlier but is falling off. Also-6 minutes of ad’s to begin a 45 min podcast feels wildly unnecessary.

I love this pod. It is part of my Eagles battery of shows (sicko here 🙋‍♀️) and I look forward to it dropping every week. The big differentiator: the relationships that Jeff has built throughout his time on the Eagles beat allow him to provide unique insights from players, coaches, front office, etc. that we can only hear from him. His reporting is honest — he does not shy from discussing what needs to improve — and remarkably compassionate — his reporting portrays the humanity of the players, not just names on a roster. I love the off-season deep dive episodes — highly recommend the AJ Brown and Milton Williams eps — and the in-season weekly segments with players that we may not know as well as the guys who are regularly speaking at the presser podium. Thank you Jeff and team for this wonderful show.

Well, researched and presented

Very professionally presented and produced podcast. Better than the typical podcast in which people just talk without having prepared much.

Inside things that I had no idea about A MUST listen for Birds’ fans!!

Just great. Not too long, but the host is so knowledgeable and has such great sources. There are other podcasts that claim to bring you inside, but they got two to three times as long and don’t nearly have the subtle and overt insight and knowledge that this one does

Just another attention grabbing journalist. Willing to attack anyone’s character for his own gain. I lost respect for the click bait writing to promote one’s self and his podcast. There’s nothing to listen to here.

I just discovered this outstanding podcast! I read every article that Jeff McLane writes. I’m so glad he has this podcast as well.

Jeff does a great job provide insider access to great stories and profiles within Eagles organization. I am tired of podcasts where someone with knowledge talks down to you as an someone learning more about the game. Jeff preserves a uniquely Philly, gritty approach and does solid story-telling to get to know the player, coach or executive being featured. My only piece of feedback is wanting the podcast to have more frequent releases. Great job Jeff and looking forward to next set.

Absolutely adore this podcast. Getting to know the individuals and inside stories behind my favorite team just adds a whole new element. Great storytelling and more than a few of these made me teary eyed.

there have been so many players, trades, drafts, in-game decisions, and seasons that I’ve discussed with my life long fellow bird brains that always end the same way…”I guess we’ll just have to wait a few years to find out why and how that all went down.” Well now we have the answer and it’s being explained in its entirety by the people and players that lived it. If you are an Eagles fan this pod cast has all the answers. Truly a must follow pod cast.

If you ever wondered what it would sound like if someone made a high production value NPR/NYT style podcast but instead of it being about a crime or the economy it was about the Philadelphia Eagles… then this show is for you. Jeff does an incredible job with this.

Love the pod and I am not a Philly Sports fan, just a big sports fan in general. Refreshing to get some thoughtful local sports content.

Really great fresh podcast angle. Not opinion based or current events but the Eagles stories that you may have a slight memory of but can really understand them now.

This is more than just an interview podcast. Jeff weaves the interviews with other parts and his own narration seamlessly. Good variety so far also

High quality reporting and discussion

Jeff is the best writer in Philadelphia. His coverage of the Eagles is exceptional and insightful. I can always count on Jeff to tell the real story. His podcast takes you behind the scenes and reveals interesting background on past Eagles history. The story about Lane Johnson and his struggles is something you do not get in your daily Eagles news and it really captured the human side of the NFL that does not get shared that often. I look forward to future stories!!!

There are plenty of Podcasts about the Eagles but Jeff is giving NEW information that hasn’t been reported before and it’s directly from the sources. Great insight and story telling!

We’ve become a society that is accustomed to believing the sole purpose of media/journalism is finding someone who does nothing more than give us new reasons to reaffirm our beliefs/biases. The result of that belief is a rapidly collapsing society. Obviously I’m not going to pretend sports media carries anything close to the gravitas of political/social media.. But the reason I say that is bc I respect and seek out any journalist(including sports) who ticks people off with their good faith perspectives/opinions. And there is no better example of that in the entirety of Philadelphia sports media than Jeff.. Which is why I subbed without even thinking about it.
