I think you asked “right?” about 1000 times an episode. It’s not necessary and it’s very distracting.

If you listen to one political podcast this is the one it should be. Steve brings an amazing historical knowledge and perspective to the issues he addresses.

The rhetoric is outstanding but some of the commercials are too intrusive. Especially the Agua one. So annoying!!! If they interrupt again while you’re speaking, I’m done!

I enjoy Steve and his thoughtful analysis, but I can’t listen to this podcast. The ads are inserted with no consideration of the content, sometimes appearing literally in the middle of a sentence! Ugh.

Love, love, love your podcast. Miss seeing you on MSNBC. Do some thing about the intrusive commercials. Announce when they're going to come or bulk on the end or beginning. Otherwise this short podcast is 10 stars

Steve’s The Warning is excellent.

The mid sentence ads need to be fixed. I was listening on 9/4 and the ad interrupted Steve mid sentence. Makes it hard to listen to.

I’m not the first to note this - the ads barge in right in the middle of a sentence - very annoying and while I love this pod, it’s become difficult to listen-will probably unsubscribe.

Glad to see a sign of life from Steve Schmidt- one of the first to blow the whistle on the tRump threat.

Steve’s commentary is forceful and funny. But the loud commercials that interrupt him randomly in the middle of a sentence make this podcast unlistenable. Unsubscribing because of the ads.

China Syndrome was released 12 days before three mile island.

Steve speaks the brutal truth about the political world in which we live and the dangerous crossroads at which all Americans now stand. He is calling out a warning about an existential threat to our democracy and we had best heed his call.

Love the directness and moral clarity.

I love Steve’s monologues but it would be great if there longer episodes with guests … and they absolutely could improve on doing their Ad inserts, it’s very clumsy and makes for a low quality product that reflects poorly or Steve and the advertisers

Love you, man, but this rant was a bit pointless. The issue isn’t whether Joe Biden is ready or capable of fighting. It’s what kind of fight has he picked. On that point, the debate is the challenge Biden made to the school bully to meet him behind the dugouts on the playground after class! Joe Biden excels at this kind of fight. As a working class kid from Scranton, he knows exactly how to confront the bully. To prepare, his advisors should just help him get out of his own way and let his instincts take over. Agree that the win will happen when Trump is made to feel pointless and invisible!

Get on TV you need to be heard

Interesting that they were silent during the invasion of Ukraine, the separation of migrant children from their parents, the end of their bodily autonomy by SCOTUS, and countless other injustices. I listen to every episode of Steve’s podcast because he’s brilliant, concise, and factual. However, he outdid himself with “never fight up hill, me boys.” Brilliant and funny.

Steve, you’ve got KATIE frickin’ COURIC on your show and you barely let her get a word in edgewise. Why have guest if you’re going to drown them out with pedantic monologues? Get a grip dude. And are you really still helping Dean Phillips? Come ON man.

I’ve listened to & appreciated Steve’s show from its inception, but today’s truly spectacular show about Ronna McDaniel’s hiring by NBC prompted my review. Bravo! Truth-teller, willing to reveal the rot. More, please!

Steve is usually on point however on the topic of Haiti we disagree. There can be no discussion about Haiti or its current condition without placing things in context. This means speaking about its historical connection with the US. Steve didn’t mention how France exploited Haiti and put them in debt, the American Marines invasion in 1915 and subsequent occupation, the American supported dictatorships, the Clintons and their exploitation of Haiti but to name a few and of coarse the CIA’s backed coup in 2004 to name a few. America, Canada and France have exploited and devastated the first Black free republic. Nowhere in US history books will you read about Haiti’s defeat of France and how that ties into the US purchasing the Louisiana territory. Nowhere in French history books will you read about Haiti defeating Napoleon and his armies. This is all payback to the decedents of the revolutionaries of the first Black free nation which sparked slave revolts and the call for freedom and independence across the world and the end to the European slave trade.

Your episode with the genz dem was unbearable. Strange that a smart/tough guy like Steve, allowed so much garbage to be spewed w/o a challenge🤔 The more far left insanity you welcome (with very little push-back) the more you will lose independents like me. Unfollow.

wrt matters of our current political environment, this podcast is my go to when i need to be (1) re-invigorated to take action (2) be splashed with cold facts (3) given historical perspective of present national maladies (4) reminded of what true patriotism looks like and (5) warned of the real threat our nation’s facing. mr. schmidt’s warnings are always arresting and chilling. he speaks wisely, concisely and methodically. we should all take heed.

Regular listener but just had to thank you Steve for the pure poetry you crafted on today’s episodes (March 8, 2024), Walt Whitman would be proud! I sincerely appreciate every show, your candor, your insights and analyses, but your calling out of that shameful, hypocritical farce of a response by the GOP may have been your Gettysburg address. Short, succinct, and powerful. Thanks brother.

Outstanding Analysis. As a soon to 77 year old in March. I have been a lifelong Democrat, but first an American. I have many friends who are use to be Republican perhaps still. But regardless we all must vote to save our democracy for future generations. It’s not a party vote anymore. It’s sad to see a party hijacked by grifters. Thanks for all you do. 🇺🇸

You say that you are all about preserving our democracy ..obviously Not!! How is supporting a different white male moderate helping to save our democracy?! If you are serious about supporting a primary candidate you should at least have nacked a person of color, a woman, someone from the lgbt community …anyone but another white male moderate. President Biden has saved lives with his covid vaccine rollout, successfully turned around our economy, strengthened and expanded NATO and our Pacific alliances while advancing historic climate change and infrastructure legislation. These are just a few of his accomplishments for our country. While You are only looking for people to oppose,..to what end? Lining your own pockets?
