Listening like you’ve had the pleasure of knowing that person for a long time.
Upon awakening my father and best friend facing end stage liver disease drank a lot of rum to ease his pain. He then said good morning to his husband and went to warm up in the hottub where he accidentally drowned. I have been an alcoholic since I was 9 years old but it wasn’t until my father drowned at the age of 40 that I really lost control. It was this event that really sent me tumbling in and out of people’s lives causing all sorts of problems for 3 years. I’m 5 months and 23 days sober today. While I’ve never met Tim he rides with me in my car to work, to school, and speaks when I need to hear the program of A.A. and how it works. The suffering in the world due to this disease is tremendous. I am so grateful to Tim for carrying the torch especially when it’s uncomfortable and challenging. For me, Tim has helped me in ways he’ll never know. I am here today and I am so grateful to god for connecting me to his message. Because for me the delivery of his message actually reaches right inside and helps orient me to the moment. I have no expectations of Tim but I sure am grateful I have the opportunity to listen to him today. Thank you.

    The most concise speaker
First time I heard Tim speak, I immediately wanted him to be my sponsor! I think he might be too busy at the moment though! ! :) I so appreciate the articulate nature of each topic he addresses. For me, his Al anon speaks are so on target to the needs of my co dependency. I laugh and cry through the whole time, because he seems to know exactly what I’m going through! How refreshing and what a comfort to know we are not alone and that someone like Tim has a ton of wisdom that he gladly passes on! Thank you for this Podcast!

Hands-down, the absolute best speaker I have ever listened to regarding the Big Book and related topics. I try to get in two of his podcasts a week. Thank you for publishing these!
