    Pregnant in VA !
Hey guys! Just wanted to write a correction to your LATEST episode on surrogacy … VA is a SAFE state to do surrogacy, there are very awesome fertility clinics here that have independent surrogacy as well. There are PLENTY of surrogates here in Virginia and we are having our daughter in a month via surrogacy and our surrogate lives LOCALLY! As far as the birth certificate goes here in VA.. all BC have to be POST birth , and my husband who’s not genetically tied to our daughter HAS to do a second parent adoption.. but it’s very easy and simple through your surrogacy lawyer to get that issued and filed.

Cute Stories, Good Intentions, Misleading Info
I think Michael and Matthew are a super sweet couple and have great intentions with this podcast. I have noticed that as episodes progress they have started to move into a tone of knowledge and process sharing with individuals that are not experts, but are indirectly portrayed as experts. With the most recent episode on foster care very general times lines and specific experiences were portrayed as the norm or standard. While I recognize the reach of this podcast is not necessarily enormous, it could provide a lot of misinformation to people starting their own family journeys. I would say their needs to be a lot more language on “this is one off personal experience” and less language that portrays expertise. Especially around systems like foster care which vary from state to state and eve county to county. Keep working and finding the right voice.❤️

A Podcast for Everyone, Not just hopeful parents!
This podcast is not just for those planning on having children but truly anyone. Becoming a parent as an LGBTQ person has so many hoops that need to be jumped through that most of the population is unaware of. Michael and Matt lead with vulnerability, sharing their journey which opens up space for others to be honest and raw about their experiences. I can't recommend this podcast enough. Plus, they're such genuine sweet guys! You won't be disappointed!
