Unless you’ve got time to waste, skip this series.
I couldn’t make it past fifteen minutes. The hosts were still schmoozing when I left the “conversation”

    Thanks

    Good but liberal
I don’t think they’re trying to be liberal or progressive. It’s just who they are and it naturally comes out when discussing their opinions. Not bad, just not my thing. Normally I don’t like podcasts with three hosts but they really do a great job of all sharing talking time.

    Google it
I love a good comedy podcast, and i love a good informative podcast. This is neither. 40 minutes of annoying, unstructured, and unfunny banter to find out if you can sit on a public toilet.

Funny, clever, authoritative-ish in a good way, and my new fav!

I really want to like this bc I love Real Simple
First of all…Real Simple sells itself. It doesn’t need a lot of extras to elevate it. I only hope that it doesn’t lean too heavily into having “guests”. I love Carla Hall but this was a bit over the top. Guests are clearly only on to promote their product, show, book or event and it is so disingenuous. It’s cringey. The host has to act like they “care” and the guest has described their product 3000 times in different settings and are totally bored. Carla talking about reorganizing the AB&B linen closet she was staying in because their fitted sheets weren’t folded neatly, was off putting and unkind. The story from either Carla or one of the hosts about “never” going back to stay at a hotel where the bed wasn’t made to perfection was absurd. Let’s be more concerned about the bed being clean and there not being any wet baby diapers left inside the sheets at the foot of the bed. The dermatologist from Mount Sinai seemed like a very nice person and his information was interesting but hopefully most humans know how often to wash their bedding. Very nice man though. Hopefully the three hosts will be able to carry the pod on their own without relying on people from the outside that are only there to promote their brand. I’ll keep listening in hopes all the new pod cast “wrinkles” get ironed out. Thank you.

    Casual fun listen
Hilarious to listen to the top sheet debate while in Europe. Where are all the top sheets here?? Are people ok?!
