This turned into a Trump bashing podcast, and that topic is stale. Hopefully it goes back to analyzing and discussing intelligence rather than broader political policy.

This pod is just a bunch of “liberals” defending the justifications of the US war machine. Their evidence is almost always “this is what the establishment said is true”

LOVE this podcast and the hosts. I’ve learned so much and it’s great to hear truth and professional experience. To all the MAGA trumpers complaining about them in the review comments, maybe they wouldn’t have to defend democracy or debunk the endless amounts of conspiracies surrounding the Republican Party if ya’ll didn’t break the law all the time, align yourselves with conspiracy theories, push rhetoric, or weren’t actively trying to overthrow our democracy all in the name of a Russian asset.

This would be a five star pod for me, I love the topics and the hosts. The amount of ads I have to skip through makes it unlistenable

I used to really like this show, but it went from debunking conspiracies to political rhetoric. Why does the show have to be one sided liberal rhetoric when the mission to the show is debunking conspiracies? Cut out the political rhetoric and get back to debunking conspiracies.

Seeing a lot of Trump supporters on here giving it one star. Just wanted to come in here and rep the left wingers that hate these CIA shills.

Almost every episode is dedicated to defending Democratic Party talking points. It was no surprise when I discovered that these guys were part of the 51 “former intelligence personnel“ who lied to the American people before the 2020 elections regarding the origins of Hunter Biden‘s laptop. It would be nice if they discussed something other than Trump.

I’m a fan of the creators, have tuned in to support and celebrate their creative endeavor! 🎉 I’m not really into conspiracy theories, and they’ve gotten more niche,/in the weeds with them, politics, & while it’s not typically my focus, I think they have found their niche, applaud their creative voices & think they are in their groove now!

Love it! Conspiracy-busting with logic and intelligence. I normally listen to podcasts while falling asleep. This one is like listening to a bunch of guys reminiscing over coffee with interesting stories, characters and tidbits. Brings the stories right down to a human level. Unfortunately this keeps me awake 😃

These guys are smart and funny. They provide a nice counterpoint to the crazy train of nonsense we’ve been subjected to by certain segments. Can’t get enough. Update: how about a review of The Agency?

The premise of the show is interesting. I encourage you to move back to it. This moved into fixation with Trump pretty quickly. The last interesting episode was about the NBA lottery. Also, your Forbes guest thinks government pensions are $10 million?

The chose ads for this podcast are horrible. I wanted to demote another star but I love the content. Wish they were longer. More please! Less hellish online casino ads!!

It’s great to hear from experts. But there are too many ads. I’d gladly pay a few bucks a month for an ad-free listening experience.

Especially when it contradicts your beliefs. The reviews of this podcast prove we are living in a country bereft of people connected to the real world and capable of reason.

This show feels a little contrived. Clearly biased, with an agenda. Besides that, there were more ads than any other podcast in my feed. Felt like at least half of the program. Sponsored would be a good description for the show. Sponsored through and through. Very disappointing to be honest.

So underrated. Apparently, lots of folks have been offended by the conspiracy theories they discuss, as they seem to reflect poorly on the right. It doesn’t- it reflects poorly on the ridiculous and the alt-right…because it should. I’m baffled by people who don’t like what they see in the mirror getting angry at the person/people holding it up. They’re generally unbiased and invite interesting, intelligent guests from the right and left to join them in discourse on currently popular conspiracies, as well as discuss their experiences in the field. It is a great show with compelling content and it deserves a much higher overall rating.

This is a very factual episode. I wish all major political candidates are vetted this carefully. Excellent.

It’s strange how they talk about conspiracy theories yet operate by cherry picking facts in their increasingly left echo chamber. And I say this as a moderate. If you can stomach that, some episodes are interesting. Please do an episode on the conspiracy theory that the US created ISIS.

They don’t coddle anyone, they tell the facts straight. I am sure all the Qanon believers really hate them because they debunk those ridiculous Facebook based conspiracy theories. They tell you the truth, huge conspiracies would be hard to pull off for years without the truth coming out. People use examples like Tuskegee experiments or MK Ultra to prove that conspiracy exist but all those conspiracy were uncovered. So if you believe in Bigfoot, Qanon, the deep state, stolen 2020 election then you’re going to hate this show because they are going to show you how dumb these theories are.

When IC operatives start a podcast it’s an IC operation. Duh.

This show is a fantastic glimpse into a field most of us can only imagine. And: listening to these people talk is a distinct pleasure for those of us who miss Car Talk (except these dudes have midwestern accents, and it’s about spies instead of cars).

I posted my not so review and then I read the comments . The chances of my comment getting reviewed and posted is knill. To get real fact base information we have to go to citizen journalism or Podcast who report what’s happening backed by multiple sources that you check out for yourself. Actually read legislation people and legislation that is trying to be pushed by bothe democrats and republicans who are really democrats. Get these tyrants out of power and behind bars

First and foremost, thanks to these guys for their service to our country. Appreciation and respect for your sacrifices. Regarding the show; after listening to 10 or so installments, some of the episodes are very interesting and neutral and these I liked quite a bit. Several of the episodes are solely shade towards Trump and the Conservative community while promoting, defending, exempting and deflecting for Liberals and the Left. There are plenty of nut jobs, liars and bull you can discuss on the Democrat side too. There are plenty of Lefties that have flipped to the Right you can bring in as guests to speak with. Without a doubt, there is insanity on both sides. Or just leave Politics out of it all together? I’ll keep listening and look for episodes that are politically neutral or discuss and expose the craziness on the Left (probably won’t get that one but I’ll try). Whenever they have entire Anti Republican episodes or go off on their tangents, I just keep in mind that these guys were professional liars and one is a self admitted criminal.

Really enjoying this! Sure, you can tell these guys aren’t exactly right wing, but they seem fair and their experience in intelligence makes the commentary more compelling.

I think that a pair of CIA workers helping explain that conspiracy theorists create their own world view and keep questioning and seeking evidence and explanations to support that world view they’ve imagined for themselves. I love that two CIA experts are debunking them simply and effectively.

It’s disgusting how they come on this show and just gaslight Americans. Pick and choose their facts. Speaking truth to power when it fits their narrative. This show lacks the nuance coverage that these subjects deserve.

Just therir Hunter Biden laptop episodes encapsulate how manipulative they are in picking and choosing “facts”. They do the typical comparison of 4chan and other conservative media said “x”, “and it’s proven these allegations are false.” Well, 4chan and the internet trolls have tons of false info. But you can’t say The NY Post and other reasonable investigators made false statements on the laptop. You compete vs the boogie man to ridicule and laugh off true facts. Time has proven otherwise and you should be embarrassed that you tried to manipulate the public from day one. You did a great job as “ride or die” for your party. It’s so scary we have government employees with backgrounds like this. I’m no Trump fan but it’s become clear that people in high positions tried to undermine this guy from day one. A travesty to our democracy and rule of law.

I’ve only heard one episode, but I’m going to give it 5 stars. If they’re making MAGAs agitated, I’m on their side.

I really really wanted to love this show because I’m very interested in hearing about the CIA etc and breaking things down. The only thing I’ve found so far is 1 episode that wasn’t talking about how the right and republicans are just horrible, deranged people. Then on the other foot just non stop praise and worship of the left and going on and on how they are great and what you should measure against. Basically, what you hear from Biden and CNN and every left leaning station is 100% truth and if ya didn’t hear it there it’s fake and ridiculous…sad but I guess ya can’t find shows anymore that will just run the center. It’s either hard left, or hard right. Nothing in between and not politics based. Really sad and shameful

Funny. Poignant. Informative. Today’s news is ripe material for this show, which brings a fresh and needed perspective. Highly recommend.

I don’t need you to validate a conspiracy, just the minimum of looking at the evidence in a rational systematic way. Not this podcast, it’s so obviously one sided that it insults your intelligence. I was told this show looks into conspiracy theories. I listened and realized these guys are basically doing CIA work by pushing deep state narrative. But they do it in “a fun way” so you’re supposed to listen to the propaganda. Examples: Biden laptop… from minute one it’s “there’s nothing illegal about owning a laptop, ha ha”, or phrases like “so we’re supposed to believe…”. They’re not even good at it.

I’ve seen some one star ratings for this show - they mean nothing and are weak because they don’t use examples to prove the rating. These hosts use evidence and reason - which most of these one star raters are oblivious. What I like most about the show is how the host use the conspiracy theories themselves to show how the conspiracy is not plausible. Listen and you’ll hear how they do it.

I really wanted to like this show, love the idea, the discussion topics could be interesting. But when you have a man, Eric Swalwell, who had relationships with Chinese spy’s calling trump supporters cult members because trumps actions get prosecuted and Clinton, Obama, and Biden actions do not there is a problem. Makes me believe this is a politically leaning podcast and not what it claims to be.

This is easy to listen to and informative. I appreciate the service of the hosts and what they are sharing with us. It is ironic to me that people complain about podcasts: (1) they are free, (2) each of us has free will, hit stop? (3) there are a lot of podcasts, hit play on something else? (4) I don’t care about your opinion, there has to be something more productive to do with your time.

As an independent (politically), it seems very biased. The interview was interesting but if you really were unbiased (and maybe you don’t portray yourselves to be) interviewers, then why not discuss the money that was sent by the U.S. after the prosecutor in Ukraine was fired? Why not discuss how/why Hunter was on the Board of Burisma when Hunter has no experience really in that area (or even running a company). I believe 97% of politicians are corrupt and it would be nice to see a balanced interview of asking the hard questions from all sides of the story. I want the truth in government regardless of political affiliation.

Shrills for the government

I really wanted to like this show, but despite my being an independent this show is so one-sided, it’s hard to listen to. Case in point: the Hunter Biden story from March, a mere three months ago. Then I listened to the one from a day ago and they still are so one-sided despite hunters conviction. I expected at least a retraction or a mea culpa. But nope.

This is such a good podcast. If you love spy stuff, this gives the perspective of 2 people who were in the trenches.

The low ratings are from people who get triggered by a lack of confirmation to justify their bias. The show is interesting, factual, and entertaining.

Don’t bother.

Maybe they need to revisit the Hunter laptop episode now that the government has confirmed its authenticity.

Unfortunately proves that the Deep State, aka administrative lifers, think they know better and are administrating with deep partisan bias. Sad this could have been interesting if they had just stuck to their subject expertise instead of pushing a one sided narrative agenda.
