    Best Disney Podcast!!!
Lou Mongello brings you the best Disney podcast out there. Lou’s insight and knowledge about the parks is like no other. Lou shares, great tips, secrets, and history about the parks, resorts, cruises and more. A great way to get your Disney fix when you’re away from the parks.

    We love WDW Radio!
Lou is a household name and friend thru the WDW radio clubhouse. My girls and I love to follow him and listen to the podcast regularly. He is so very knowledgeable, personable and really brings Disney to life, even when we cannot be there. Thanks Lou! ~ The Lee girls

Took a break. Now I’m back.
Years ago, I used to be a diehard listener, but I stopped listening to most podcasts and opted for YouTube videos of the parks instead. Now I am finding most Disney YouTubers have become mundane and trivial. One thing I like about this podcast is the more in-depth, behind-the-scenes type information. I like to know the secrets and little known facts. It’s a great podcast with a reliable host.

    Gold Standard
The best of the best of Disney podcasts. Knowledgeable, focused, entertaining, and a perfect escape from MN weather. Working my way from episode 1. Love how much of the podcast is evergreen. Thank you, Lou!

    Discrepancy
I love the joy and sentiment of Lou Mongello as he talks about the parks. But I recently have had not so joyful experiences at WDW and DLR. That left me wishing the parks were like the way Lou describes them and how they used to be, sadly they seem to have changed for the worse in many ways.

    Great Disney Podcast
WDW Radio focuses on in-depth reviews and round table discussions about WDW’s many parks, attractions, restaurants, and hotels. The episodes are timeless. So having access to Lou’s extensive archive of more than 500 episodes means there always something to listen to.

Much love to Lou and his “crou”
This is my favorite podcast for all things Disney. Lou’s positivity always puts a smile on my face. I could go on, but I don’t want to take up too much time. Thank you Lou and your “crou” for the lovely podcasts. Have a good one! PS: Thank you for recycling some of your classic podcasts for those of us that found your podcast more recently.

Amazing Podcast with an even more Amazing message
Dear Lou, I have been a long time listener of this podcast (around 15 years), and it never disappoints. Every week I tune into Lou on Wednesday nights, it will always be the box to me, and prepare for amazing time full of info and laughter as only Lou can produce. I am confident that Jim Korkis is smiling down knowing that the Disney Magic and knowledge is safe and alive within Lou and this show. You truly are a positive leader and role model for everyone in a difficult post pandemic world. I want to Thank You deeply for all of the love, laughter and legacy for this thing called Disney Magic, that you bring with a smile each week. Keep up the passion and always choose the good!! P.S. much Love to Becki and Tim as well Scott D Massachusetts

    Well that's that
Been a heck of a run. But my want to listen has officially ended. Between dinner reviews/a crazy combination of lack of depth while still not being entertaining/Becci loves to drink/Lou loves to eat/ and more. The Live Show has just become a stream of rquestions about food/where do u "want to go with me right now?"/"if u could...?" fill in the blanks And here's how it ended for me. I know the business aspect of Becci..but all of those conversations lead to nothing..except let's talk about a trip that 99.9999% of ppl who want to listen to a podcast about interest ppl and history will never take. The final straw was once again having Tim Foster on..again..to babble on about of all things Disney History..including realizing he said he'd never seen an Alice Comedy to having to double back on it as Lou's epiphany moment that he has a moron on clicked Tim to change his story. This episode was the epitome Disneysplaining to a 3rd grade level. I've got other things but time for a suggestion. Lou..please team up with someone and do a podcast that both entertains and informs without dipping into pablum and bad guest cronyism. The space could use it bc what it has become is "trip reviews" and banality. I and i'm sure others can HEAR when you are engaged..but these mostly have become "it's time to make the donuts episodes every week. I appreciate you being here this consistently. It's amazing what you have done. And i thank you for a lot of hours of enjoyment. But you need a partner who will stimulate YOU. (and please..(not Lisa who likes to run..i know). There are ppl out there who i'm sure would love to reinvigorate WDW RADIO. Not control it..it's rightfully yours..but build it back to its glory. I think you always say it's not about "numbers".. but it IS a way to know if change is necessary. The live show numbers are no where near what they could be..dedicated group is great..but it's a sign. Even your business model..distribution and WHAT and WHERE you distribute should be in play. You have an amazing chance heading into the New Year to be an influence to a new wave of podcasters..your legacy in that department is solidified and noted..but i believe there is so much more left in you if you catch that "spark"

    Hooked
I've been listening to multiple episodes of this this podcast just about everyday for the last few months. A few weeks ago I decided to start at the very first episode and work my way forward. Lou really knows his WDW history and I learn something fun and interesting on every episode. My next Disney World trip isn't scheduled until December 2012 but I can't wait to go and share all my new knowledge about all the parks. P.S. Bring back Jeff Pepper!

Disney, Passion, and Joy wrapped up into a beautifully produced audio experience!!
I’ve been listening to Lou Mongello and WDW Radio for years and I’m so grateful to Lou for the incredibly detailed content he shares, for the community he built, for giving Disney fans a place to go where other people really understand why we cry when we enter the Magic Kingdom, and for encouraging us all “Choose the Good”. The podcast is incredibly well done and you can tell there is so much creativity and intention in every episode. I love hearing from Lou’s family and friends in the podcast as well, and it just empathizes the family atmosphere he’s cultivated. I’ve also done coaching with Lou and was lucky to meet him during a Run Disney event and the passionate, friendly, and kind person you hear on the podcast is the same person who gives you a hug and a handshake!! Our family loves this show! Thank you, Lou!

    My happy Place
I have been listening to WDW Radio for more than 7 years now. I was in a low place in my life and found WDW Radio. Listening to Lou and his always positive attitude made a huge change in my mindset and he had a fan/friend for life. I always considered myself the biggest Disney fan but Lou always finds ways to show me more than I already knew. WDW Radio is my go-to podcast each week when it comes out. My only complaint is I haven’t been able to do a Dining review with Lou yet! Lets fix that. Thank you Lou for all the great information and the positive energy you put out into the world. It is greatly appreciated.

    What a show!
Honestly, this podcast has filled a void in my Disney-loving life. Lou has done such a beautiful job with this podcast that, ironically, I think the company we all hold dear to our hearts could learn a lesson from him! Now this statement will seem extremely hyperbolic, but it's been a long time since a charismatic, down-to-earth -- dare I say -- "Uncle Walt"- type character has fed the lovers of classic Disney with news and updates about our favorite place the way Lou does now; God knows you can't get this stuff on television. We crave this information, and this is absolutely the BEST source for it. I listen every week! Well-done; Lou, you've made Jersey and Seton Hall proud.

    Used to love this podcast….
Yes, I used to love this podcast until it turned into one large advertisement for Beci and her travel agency. I’d love to know what financial arrangement they have…

Discovered the show during Covid lockdown, feeds my love of Disney nostalgia like nothing else, and offers wonderful insights in and behind the scenes at the parks. Great listen!

    No.1 Fan of the World
Hello Lou Mongello, I’m Just a Fan for a long time and I started on your old audio guide to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Audio Tours and it leaded me here and I have one episode topic request, Can you talk about the lost history of ROGER RABBIT And the Future of the film and how it wasn’t in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and call it “Roger Rabbit’s Theme Parks Legends”
  • keithbretzius
    Has it all
From history to current news Lou has a unique podcast that is a must have in my Disney listening.
  • AGranec
    It’s in the details
I love that Lou points viewers to the details of each Disney destination. He doesn’t talk about just the “must do’s”, but he encourages viewers to go deeper and notice things that otherwise you would pass by. Disney Imagineers thrive in the details department and I so appreciate Lou always pointing those details out. That’s what makes Disney are the details. Thanks Lou for always being positive and a joy to listen to.

Has this guy even been to WDW? Inside joke…
Lou is the man, the myth the legend. Hands down number one WDW podcast. He is a historian, food critic and diehard Dis-o-phile. He has all tips, facts and jokes. Besides the usual fare, he has top guests in the industry. I have been listening for 4 years now. And yes, I listened to episode 1! Keep it coming,Brother!!!!

    Are you a Disney fan?
If you don’t listen to Lou, can you really say you’re a true blue Disney fan? Lou’s podcasts are the end all of Disney podcasts, information, entertainment, and so many great interviews with so many of the greats associated with Disney over the years, including some amazing Imagineers! Take your fandom up ten levels and listen to WDW Radio. Good luck catching up.

Great, great, great show!! Lou is a true proffesional who's ability to connect us to all things Disney, Star Wars and Marvel is without competition. From interviews, food reviews, to complex conversations relating to the thought procees of planning and design behind WDW, no other show is in the same catagory. Lou calls his listeners freinds, and I feel like I've known him my entire life. Thank you Lou for a AAA podcast! Proud member of the WDW Nation and I hope to bump into you soon. - Giovanni
  • Shadowsmith1
Lou has sadly been really phoning it in this year
Used to be better, now feels low effort. For the love of God, please Stop having Tim Foster on! He can’t even finish a sentence! This is an audio format and the guy can barely speak. Also: Live dining reviews do not make good content! Nobody wants to listen to you eat for an hour. How self indulgent and lazy.

    Positive Forward
Disney World is where I have fun and get away from the stresses of my life. I enjoy the show because it is positive and reflects the positive aspects of Disney. You’re not going to get controversial topics on the show. And for me, that’s good. Sometimes the guests are a little bit annoying, and sometimes they’re fascinating. When they’re annoying, I just move on to something different. Most of the time I can count on an enjoyable, lighthearted Disney experience. Thanks, Lou!

    Consistent Content From the Heart
I have been listening to WDW Radio prior to 2015. This site has stayed consistent through the years. Just listened to show #720 with guest Jason Canapp. So fun. I’ve participated in the culinary tour at AKL. I also did the mosaic project over at Coronado. Fun. One day I hope to take a ride on a pontoon boat. Going to need a few friends. Thank you Lou for always choosing the good. Cheers.

For Serious Walt Disney World Enthusiasts
Excellent podcast. I’ve been listening since day 1 of the original show. I can’t think of anyone who works harder to creat such great content about Walt Disney World. The interview episodes are amazing.
  • Havard22
    First class Podcast!
Lou is a great person to talk about all things Disney and positivity more broadly. I don’t make it to the parks as often as I’d like, and I really enjoy hearing him talk about what Disney means to him and others. The content is great, from park news, interviews, Marvel/Star Wars/Pixar, special events, etc., but the thing I like most about the show is the feeling of happiness when hearing Lou talk about his passions. To me, WDW Radio is an example of edutainment. It may be a podcast about Disney, but listening to it helps a person learn about happiness, self-expression, and more. Thank you Lou and keep up the fun work!

    My Go-To Disney Podcast!
I’m normally a Disney history buff and listen to those podcasts primarily. When I need my current Disney fix I turn to Lou and the WDW Radio nation. Not only does Lou share what’s going on today, he blends the history of the company superbly with the latest and greatest! It’s such a joy to listen to each week. Positive, uplifting and hilarious. A bright spot I look forward to each week!

    Best Disney Podcast
I’ve been listening to WDW Radio for 8+ years and still get excited when I see a new episode has been posted. The episodes are diverse (interviews, reviews, top 10s, etc.) which always keep me interested as some other podcasts just focus on Disney news I can easily find online. More importantly, Lou’s positivity and love for Disney are evident in every episode which always keeps me coming back.

Great conversation, great guests and great topics
What can I say that hasn’t already been said? I love this show. I’ve been a listener since my wife and I introduced our daughter to Walt Disney World ten plus years ago. Lou feels like an old friend, yet we’ve never met and he’s the voice I listen to when I need to feel the comforts of Disney. Just a fun show on all things Disneyana and a direct link to the nostalgia that powers my love of the company since my first visit to WDW in 1985. I’ve moved away from the East coast and now more than ever, I rely on the show to keep me happily connected to one of my favorite places. Great conversation, great guests and great topics. This show is my antidote for the negativity in this world. Thanks Lou and guests (Lisa, Beci and everyone)

    Lou is the standard
Been listening for about 4 years, Lou has such a passion for what he does, it comes through. Every episode is full of so much knowledge, it’s a must if you’re planning a trip or just love Disney! By far the best Disney podcast out there.
  • andie k.
    Fun, educational and comforting
Lou and his guests know their Disney stuff! I’ve so many amazing facts from this podcast and it gets me ready for my next trip. I also find Lou’s voice and personality very comforting - perfect to listen to when you want to sit back and relax.

    Lou rules
There is a good logical reason why Lou Mangello is the king of Disney podcasters. His shows are always informative, entertaining, and refreshingly positive.

WDWRadio is a good choice (choosing the good)
Lou’s podcast is such a positive experience; it got me through the pandemic when we couldn’t visit the parks. All episodes are a “feel good” in every episode. It’s often a reminder that when the world is dark or ugly, you can choose the good and decide to see the good, not the bad.
  • Willie555
    Completely unreliable reviews
Lou Mongello doesn’t bite the band that feeds him which is why you can’t r trust any reviews.
  • PatfromNJ
    Enthusiastic and positive
The WDW Radio Show is wonderful, I love the positivity and genuine love for Disney (especially Walt Disney World, all the parks, DCL, everything) that Lou and his guests have. It is chock full of not only useful and practical information about planning a trip to Disney, but also an entertaining but in depth history lesson on all things Disney, as well as offering periods of escape from the real world by letting us imagine with Lou and the guests. With all the stress and busy-ness that we have in our lives, listening to this podcast really is “choosing the good.”
  • Boo
    Fascinating and fun
I’ve been listening since 2008, and look forward every week to a new episode to listen to as I run. I always learn something new, and Lou’s passion and dedication clearly come through. His guests, interviews, and top 10’s (ish) will make you smile and feel the Disney magic no matter where you are or what you’re doing.

    I don't get the hype
This is a great 20 minute podcast crammed into 1.5 hours. The little jokes, etc get old quickly. Frankly I try to come back for a Disney fix but the sheer amount of wasted time on this podcast turns me off. Which is a shame because there are so many good stories to be found. Lou M seems like a great guy. I would love to take a stroll around the parks with him to learn history and hear stories. But if you want honest assessment of WDW go elsewhere. He has the audacity to say things like Genie+ is a good thing. If you want honest conversation about how WDW has never cost more while giving less to the fans, then Lou is not your guy. Unfortunately it seems that Lou has made a deal where he will, no matter what, say only positive things about WDW and how it is run. This hurts me to say because I truly want to like this podcast but I just don't get the hype.

    My Favorite WDW Podcast
I found this podcast in 2015 when I wanted to know more about the parks. I wanted to learn all the history, details, secrets and stories about WDW. From in depth details of attractions to top 10s, this podcast covers just about everything you want to know about the “parks, screens and everything in-between”. If you want a VIP tour of the parks right from your couch or car, this podcast is for you. Thank you Lou for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the world, I look forward to a new episode each and every week!

Disney Magic for the Whol Family!
I found my way to Lou's podcast about 2 years ago after our first family trip to Walt Disney World, and I am so grateful that I did! Every week I look forward to a new episode, because each episode gives me that dose of Disney magic that lifts my spirits, sparks my imagination and curiousity, deepens my appreciatation of Walt Disney and his legacy, and gets me excited for my next WDW adventure! Lou and his guests go above and beyond with sharing their knowledge of and passion for all things Disney, with a delivery that is at once intelligent, humorous, entertaining, sincere, and touching. Our whole family has fallen in love with WDW Radio, and my children often ask to "listen to Lou!" Keep up the amazing work, Lou and all of the contributors to WDW Radio. Thank you for the magic!

    Welcome Distraction
I am not normally a fan of longer podcasts but this is by far one of my favorite podcast to listen to while walking in the morning. My favorite are the conversations Lou has with both current and former imagineers. There is so much that can be learned in applied no matter what you do, and I’m a pastor. I needed something like this to refocus me from the negativity, tension, and divisiveness of our politically charged culture. By the way, we are alumni of Give Kids the World and appreciate all you do for those families in one of the the most frightening times of their lives. Keep up the good work by keeping us focused on choosing the good.

The Best Part of My Week!
I’ve been listening to WDW Radio for years - when I heard the episode on Beastly Kingdom, I was hooked. As a Disney Parks history geek myself, I love that Lou (and Beci? 😂) present great info on the Parks’ pasts, as well as keep you “in the know” on what’s new and exciting now. His interviews are always interesting and professional, and his positive outlook on all things (Disney and beyond) keep me excited for every new episode. As a mom of young kids, my time alone in the car is practically my sanctuary, and I’m always glad to spend it listening to WDW Radio.
  • AshleyMNewell
    Best podcast out there.
Lou brings joy to every single show. I have been listening for years now and have loved every single episode. I am an elementary teacher living too far from Florida to be able to get to the parks very often, but Lou and all his amazing guests help bring the magic to me each week. I love how knowledgeable and engaging each episode is both for myself and my kids. I hope one day I can make it to a meet of the month or a running team event. Until then, Lou keep up the amazing work. Your passion and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed.

    Clean. Kind. Educational!
I’m a HS Special Ed teacher & I worked as a lifeguard at Typhoon with the CP in ‘96. I am a life-long Disney history nerd, always eager to learn new tidbits! Thank you for a podcast that is clean, kind, and free of politics. I never have to worry about the content no matter who is in the car. We don’t get to WDW very often, last trip was 10 years ago but we’re planning a holiday trip in Dec this year! I’m excited to get in the car each day to listen and learn! This was defiantly God’s calling for you! Blessings! Theresa Ireland

    Really great with good guests
I enjoy the varied amount of topics and guests(including the regulars like Tim Foster, the top tens are some of my favs) Only thing I walk away from is the constant “only the original Star Wars trilogy is good” stuff. You don’t have to like it, but constantly dragging those movies down has had me turn off episodes and quit the clubhouse community, it’s alienating to those of us who grew up during the prequel era(and last time I checked both the prequel and sequel trilogy have had box office success and are still constantly selling those toys at the park)
