CERN - Large Hadron Collider Podcast

10

Particle Physicist Dr Brian Cox invites a series of unlikely guests around the biggest experiment in the history of the universe (well this one) ever. Is it a chat show? Is it an introduction to particle physics? Is it just a jolly day out in Gevena? Maybe all three.

    Outstanding
Excellent informal, intelligent explanations and discussions of the LHC. Listening to these, you come to an appreciation of why this is a big deal. It is amazing and awe-inspiring that the human race can do this and wants to do this.

    How Fantastic!!!
Oh, this is so wonderful! I am a theater director who wishes that I had gone into particle physics -- really, I'm not kidding. And I have been following the development of the large hadron collider with great interest. This is fun, easy to understand for a layperson, and it allows you inside the development of this important and rather mind-boggling adventure. The excitement Dr. Brian Cox has is contagious and it makes me want to go in person to ask him all sorts of questions. In the first episode Captain Jack also is having a great time. I wish I could be a guest too! What a fantastic gift this podcast is. Thank you, thank you! I will eagerly await the next installment.
