    Great Advice
Erik offers excellent advice, from not wasting time and energy trying to monetize through ads and sponsors to focusing on what matters most in a podcast to really build the know, like, and trust factor—service! Plus, I’ve worked with him one-on-one in planning my own podcast escapades and he is a great guy who practices what he preaches.

An expert at your ear tips
Yep, listen and learn. Erik knows what works. Cuts through the clutter. Gives us practical counsel. I like the fact that he has been coaching talent for 30 years and knows what a good podcast should sound like. You can shape your presentation by listening to his advice. I’ve been in radio for 40 years so I know he’s telling it like it is. Take it and use it.

    Helped me a lot!
Eric and Dave audited my podcast and gave great feedback. We dove deep into my interview style and episode flow, reviewed my website, looked at my Libsyn settings, and reviewed my analytics; all live on the show (Yes, I'm open very with my analytics). I got a bit of a confidence boost when they said my show seemed solid and that the'd be focussing on picky things. I've already implemented every piece of advice they gave me aside from learned skills, which I'm working on. I intend to get another audit, in a few months to a year, whenever I feel ready, because this was a valuable experience for me. Thanks again Eric and Dave! -- Check out my audit if you'd like; there's a tone of value shared in it.! It'll be episode 246 (or soon after it). -- Why Influence Podcast with Jeremy Segal.

    Gem After Gem
Don't know what more i can say about this podcast outside of the fact that you should subscribe immediately. I do wish Erik had social media so i could engage with him outside of his website because he really does do a great job and even offers his talents up from time to time. If you want to have a successful podcast and monetize this is the show you need to have in your toolbox.

    Very informative and entertaining
My favorite podcast. I'm always sad when it's over. Eric is awesome. Hopefully my podcast will one day sound as streamlined and engaging as this one.

    Stop repeating
The host is sooo maddeningly repetitive that I actually thought I was being punked, like in those national company meetings where the planners bring in a double-talker to do the keynote speech as a gag. I was really looking forward to liking and finding value in this series based on mostly positive feedback, and the topics of each episode seemed intriguing. But please, make your point and keep moving ahead.

    Ugh
Talks in circles. Repeats himself incessantly. 30 minutes of audio = 2 minutes of content. Always selling you something. Loves to tell you he has 30 years radio experience. Ok I get it, you can fill dead air.

You will learn so much from this show!
While there are a number of podcasts about how to podcast Erik does something different here and truly is providing valuable information about the content that we provide on the podcasts that we present. This is SO important as we can do a ton technically to have the great equipment, but if our delivery and content is poor no one will come back to listen! Kudos to Erik for providing so much amazing information. I started late with the podcast, but ended up going back to the beginning and have now listened to everything and I am so glad that I did and you will too! Erik truly is the Podcast Talent Coach!

Perfect Prep for a Powerful Podcast! Thank, Erik!
As I prepare for my launch, I'm finding excellent instruction, tips and flashes of brilliance gleaed from Erik's decades of broadcast experience. His style is relaxed, information packed and dedicated to helping his listeners maximize their potential. Each episode will have a permanent place in my archive, just in case I need a reminder in the future of how to energize my presentation, mazimize my marketing, develope a dedicated following, share valuable content while entertaining a little slice of the universe. In addition and possibly more important, I'm learning to avoid many of the traps that spell doom for many current and (thankfully) former podcasts. I'm takin' notes like crazy. Booyah!

    Stop it
Stop talking like a morning zoo radio DJ it kills my ears and it seems you talk too loud into the mic cause it buzzes. Back off from the mic or lower the levels please.

How can I NOT give it 5-stars
Erik, I must start off with an apology for not leaving a review sooner. I can’t believe you’ve been releasing shows for 18 months already. Thank you for all the great ideas and helpful tips you give us (podcasters) in each and every episode - especially Episode 45 (Your Effective Call To Action)

I am going to use this!
I've listened to just a couple of shows now, but I'm hooked! Just getting ready to launch my own podcast, and episode #75 blew me away with tips to developing a reputation as a fabulous interviewer. Not just a reputation for it, but actually being one! So excited to get started, and it's partly due to Erik's fantastic tips.

Teaches You How to BE a Podcaster!
There are a TON of really good "How to Podcast" shows out there. Podcast Talent Coach is the ONLY show that teaches you how to BE a TALENTED podcaster. Thank God Erik is very good at it.

    Amazingly Helpful
Erik Johnson is NOT here to tell you how to set up your studio. Thank goodness for that. Erik is here to tell you how to improve the CONTENT of your podcast, strengthen your brand and make sure you are performing at your best inside of your show. His information is crystal clear, useful, and insightful. He brings years of radio experience into his show to examine how you really need to craft your show to be consistent, creative, and your true self. I am looking forward to hearing more shows, and getting great resources from the show.
