Interstate, it’s the VFL and if they are ‘interstate’ the teams still have to travel to the a hole of australia, the worst weather in Australia but hey, there is no travel. This sort of nonsense never happened on the Coodas. At least their nonsense talk was engineered as nonsense.

I’m serious when I say the 2-guys-1-cup podcasters know more about football clubs and have better insights (and way more entertainment!) than these guys. These just guys just rehash the established and tiring narrative from other AFL sources.

A great place to listen to ads occasionally broken up by a bit of footy talk.

I much prefer the previous format - the new structure of a single host with multiple guests popping up feels like less detailed content and analysis with heaps more ads.

Robbo is a flog!!! Let Mick, Glenn, Scotty & the ultra-impressive & polished Will Hogan take the reigns. Leave Robbo to dig through trash cans & focus on Fox Footy tripe. Podcast is always better without Robbo. And bring back Lauren Wood!!! Why did she leave in the first place!!! 5th ranked AFL podcast for a reason

Imagine being full time footy journos-asking yourselves a pre arranged question about best forwards of this century and then not mentioning Kennedy?? Oh and I’m cats man so appreciate the love for Hawkins. Too inconsistent in hosts etc to be a top podcast.

Fairly good listen these boys know a bit but Scott is an A grade arrogant tosser. The other 2 boys are great to listen to.

I was looking for a new footy podcast but in going through your previous episodes I couldn’t find a single one that wasn’t all male. Until you have a regular female panel member I won’t be listening

Was really good when Hudson and Anderson was on. Was never any adds and now there’s two add breaks. These 2 now talk about themselves and who they know.

The latest episode is almost unlistenable due to J.Ralph sounding like he’s talking as if he’s just railed five giant lines before the podcast.

Used to love and enjoy listening to this podcast in the past. Now just a forum for Warner to take pot shots at his journalism peers. Even more pathetic is his hypocritical support of Jeff Kennett, The person that launched his book. Bring back the old format and contributors like Ando!

Quality of this podcast has really deteriorated in 2021. Last weeks episode which included a Wishlist BBQ with footy identities was a low point. Why the change in hosts in 2021? Any chance of getting Lauren and the team back?

The last couple of seasons were great with Loz and the rotating panel. Now it’s two guys that mostly just talk about themselves and the various beefs they have with other people in the industry.

Mick is the biggest Tigers nuffie, super bias and brings everything back to the Tigers or his anti AFL agenda

Anytime Jon Ralph is on this podcast, it automatically becomes unlistenable.

Just listened to episode 39 of the Trade Special. That was cringeworthy bad. Compared to other podcasts and trade shows this is at the very bottom of the barrel. TBH - amateur hour and you could gain more insight from listening to crowd at the front bar of your local pub.

Week after week we get echoes and feedback, makes it often impossible to continue listening. It seems they are unwilling or incapable of fixing their audio issues. Do they ever listen back to their own sub-standard work? Rival football podcasts do a better job.

Happy to put the stars up once Lauren goes an episode without saying “um”

Find the insights so fascinating but the audio issues of the last two weeks make it almost unlistenable. Such a shame, but hopefully easily rectified as I thoroughly enjoy the forensic views

Really disappointing. They only really talk about the ‘big clubs’ and what they have to say isn’t really worth your time.

Good insight into the footy world. Loses a bit of interest when they do the hark back to a former players days as it’s not sought after for someone following the week to week footy Also the sound is terrible and muffled. Either get BT in same podcast room rather than Skype call or find another pundit Another issue is the random callbacks to past players or incidents from years back. Either have a current week to week podcast on footy or do a historical one ( not both) One problem I found this year in 2020 is it’s taken on a lot of the HeraldSun agenda and been very critical of the Victorian premier and the current lockdown

Shouldn’t be a surprise coming from the Herald Sun. But it’s just hard to listen too and find someone’s opinion I agree with.

Jon Anderson , you are incapable of giving Richmond a fair go . A tad salty I’d say . I nearly choked when you gave a summary of their 2020 year . We have had at least 4 best 22 players not available for year , up to 11 at one stage , and still perform . Beat Brisbane by7 goals , Bulldogs same , WCE by 5 , with sides that were at best 70 per cent best . You are unlistenable at times , don’t know how you get a gig . You make Rohan Connolly sound reasonable and Mike Sheahan sound informed . Can’t wait to smash Geelong in the finals again . You know it’ll happen . Mick and Lauren , great listening , the hack Anderson brings you down .

I’ve been enjoying the discussions here ... then the suggestion that Robbie Muir is less qualified than an old white journo to assess whether a teammate urinating on him is racist flawed me! Not to mention the not so subtle suggestion that Muir might misspend the money donated through the go fund me page! Had thought you guys had more quality than this ...

This podcast is ok. It’s more a general football discussion than a review or preview type show

I used to listen to this podcast a few years ago.. being in lockdown I have been searching for a few podcasts to listen to. Unfortunately I couldn’t last a whole episode. A podcast about football quickly became a biased, politically driven waste of time. No worthwhile discussion about football. Imagine going to university for several years to get a degree in journalism only to work at the herald sun If you are after a decent podcast about the current issues of the afl.. don’t waste your time

Subscribed and very much look forward to tuning in each week. Thoroughly enjoyed Ando’s best of the best. Wood is wonderfully intelligent. See you next Tuesday team!

Unstructured podcast discussions only work if the participants are lively, interesting and have quality voices. Not everyone can pull that gig off.

Lot’s of inside jokes about golf scores and old glory days.

I have been listening to this podcast for years through various line ups and it has definitely had its ups and downs but on the balance has been informative and entertaining. They have been doing a good job during the absence of games to keep us AFL nuffies entertained and engaged. Just started listening to this week’s episode and Mick Warner is back after a break and whilst I’d found his anti-AFL rhetoric frustrating at times in the past, his absence has made his caustic attitude toward the AFL all the more pronounced. I understand that journalism needs to speak truth to power but Mick seems to just hate the AFL. I suspect it reflects a wider philosophy where he would prefer smaller government, but he just comes across as biased and unbalanced in his observations about the AFL as an organisation. I thought BT would be the one to turn me off this podcast for good but hats off to Mick W for managing what BT couldn’t.

So biased with all the Geelong and Ablett talk. They haven’t been relevant for 10 years!!

Loved this podcast when hosted by Anthony Hudson. Last year was still pretty good, but it’s getting hard to listen to now Brian Taylor has joined. He is incredibly biased and off handed with regards to any clubs residing outside of Melbourne. We want news and information please - not your personal hatred of anything Sydney or GWS related thank you

Good podcast but it has poor audio at times!!

The seem to enjoy their own in jokes and talk a lot about industry movements without actually talking specifics about any of the the games

Charlie Cameron interview was delightful. So refreshing to hear a footballer speaking candidly about life and footy. Well done Ando

nothing quite as sad as the old white guy trying to stay relevant ! today’s football needs more diversity this is not it !!

Started off great, then they added Robbo and more recently BT. Now it is almost impossible to listen too, which is a shame because Lauren and Jon are great.

It’s good of you to provide us with a Geelong podcast, just a shame Anderson is surrounded by all those other people who try to talk about other teams. Seriously, my favourite game of the week is seeing how long it takes him to hijack a topic and twist it to a geelong spiel.

Really enjoyed the old old podcast - went off it when they shortened it. Got excited this year when I saw it was out to 45 mins, only to be severely let down by the including of Robbo and BT - both have good opinions but they are everywhere, so sick of them already. Mick Warner, Ralhpy, Lauren and JayZ or Sam Edmund would be much more enjoyable. I’m done for now, will check in after the byes.
