Great podcast for 30K, have enjoyed it for quite some time.

Just started listening to this, my first 30K podcast. Presenters are enthusiastic about the game. Fun to listen to.

I have been an avid reader of 30K and 40K novels ever since I picked up my first Abnett story while studying for the bar. A dozen years later and dozens of books later, I still haven't played a single game. Greg's love of and respect for the "fluff" really sets this podcast apart from many of the other podcasts. You can tell that he spends a lot of time prepping for each show based on the questions and discussions he has with his guests. This show has even enticed me to watch matches and learn about the game. Keep up the good work, Greg.

A solid source for your Horus Heresy and general Games Workshop news. Plus the detailed coverage of events in England that I myself will never be able to get to is really nice to hear. Really good sound quality on top of it all. This is a great podcast.

These guys do a great job covering interesting material, especially for 40k players like myself who want to know what we only have a vague idea of. Have faith that you will enjoy the episodes (later on in particular) and have faith in the words of your Emperor.

The quality and content are wonderful. I have played 40k for 24 years and have lost my taste for the current rules. 30k has sparked my interest and this team has been great. I went back to the very first episode and love every bit. Keep up the great work.

One of my favorite 40k podcasts, features some great topics and awesome Heresy-oriented content with tie-ins to other podcast hosts like Jason Mullins of the Overlords, etc. If you are a 40k player that wants something fresh or a Heresy buff already theres something for everyone!

Greg does a wonderful job of engaging the hobby in a positive way, is generally focused on his topics, and pleasant to listen to. Highly recommend. Also check out "After Ullanor"

Excellent podcast on 30k

Greg does a great job in providing content, in fluff game play, events, painting... I have been listening for less than week. up to episode 19. hoping to catchup in a few days.

Great podcast. Not overly bombastic and hyper excitable like some other 40k podcasts. Has a very welcoming attitude and seeks to include all aspects of the 30k hobby from fluff and modeling to rules and new releases.

Easily one of the best podcasts dedicated just to 30k. The podcast reviews recent releases, gameplay, review of rules, and events. It sounds very professional, and motivates me to build up my Death Guard Legion. A must listen for fans of 30k

As someone who has played fantasy and 40k but is just getting into 30k this show is perfect!! Does a great job of discussing fluff, gaming, and resources for the 30k enthusiast and Greg is awesome as always! Definitely recommend for anyone interested in 30k!!

Why do I like it? I…can’t say ;) OK, I can. They cover all elements of enjoying the 30K universe with tips and commentary from the community. Greg also brings us current coverage of HH news coming out of GW. Give it a listen!

This guy clearly knows his 30k fluff and comes across as an easy going enthusiast. I appreciate that he keeps it clean—I can listen to this one when my kids are within earshot.

Awesome show! I've listened to Greg since he started on "After Ullanor" and I'm really liking this new show as well. It's informative and positive which is hard to find with Games Workshop sometimes. Plus... I want to see if I just absorb myself with The Overlords and the Imperial Truth then maybe I'll start talking with an English accent!!

This was the final push I needed to get back into GW. I just did a binge listen to all the episodes I could get my hands on. Cant wait for more.

This is an other great warhammer podcast that currently has touched a little bit of all aspects of 30k.

It is great that there is a Horus Heresy specific podcast, for lovers of both the 30,000 and general gamesworkshop fluff. Greg is great both in After Ullanor and now with his rotating 2nd chair on The Imperial Truth. It is great that he is exploring the different facets of the HH hobby. This podcast is worth a listen.

This is a must listen for anyone interested in the Horus Heresy. Whether it be books, models or gaming they cover it all!

I play Warhammer 40K (when I get the chance), not 30K, but I enjoy the Imperial Truth podcast quite a bit. I have read most of the Horus Heresy novels, so I am interested in how the 30K variant is developing. Gregg takes the production of the podcast seriously, researches his show topics, has knowledgeable guests on and keeps the profanity to a minimum... I'd say it's generally a "clean" podcast; I can't remember specific instances of inappropriate language. One thing I can't listen to is a group of 4-5 gamers interrupting each other trying to be clever on microphone and calling it a podcast. You won't find that here. This is a quality show about the Warhammer 40K/30K hobby. I don't intend to purchase a Forgeworld army just to play 30K, but Gregg's podcast may convince me to try it out with my perfectly servicable 40K models someday soon. Thanks for all your effort, it's much appreciated! :-)

This is an informative and entertaining podcast for anyone who is interested in the 30k or 40k setting. Greg is a complete professional (who keeps it family friendly) and gives some great insight into the 30k hobby. Inspired me to place an order and get started on my 30k army - and I don't even play 40k! Anyway - great podcast and am looking forward to what the future will bring!

It is nice to hear a 40K (30K) podcast cast from a different mold than all of the rest. Have yet to hear the boring recap of some game the hosts just played or a "hobby workbench" section. It is all focused on the massive lore and armies of the 30K era. Sound quality is pretty good so far, even for a Skype based cast.

I’ve never played a lick of 40k, played some Dawn of War, but do own a few Space Marines. I started reading the Horus Heresy and have always enjoyed the story and mythos. Stumbled upon this pod cast starting w/ episode three, really enjoyed the top 5 lists.

I am a new fan of the Horus Heresy and this podcast helps me scratch that itch. While this podcast is new, the host is an experienced podcaster. Furthermore the host's enthusiasm for both the horus heresy and the gamesworkshop hobby in general shows. Follow this podcast if you want to learn more about the horus heresy and spend your time well.

You don't often find a new podcast starting up with experienced podcasters. That immediately set this apart from others. It's very professionally produced with solid hosts and content. I can't recommend this enough if you're into 30k

Whether you're a veteran of 40k or a newcomer to the universe of 40k and or ( in this case) 30k, there's something here for everyone. Great to just hear folks talk about the 30k universe. Excellent for while you're modeling too!

I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that Gregg Dan, a co-host for another excellent 30K podcast that focuses on in-depth book reviews called After Ullanor, had started this new podcast to focus on ForgeWorld Horus Heresy books and gameplay. Dan brings the same thoughtfulness and effort to The Imperial Truth and successfully delivers a quality podcast. I would highly recommend this podcast to all gamers who enjoy the narrative play aspect of the Warhammer 30K universe. Dan - I'm sure The Independent Characters podcast would gladly help you to get the word out for your new podcast. Keep up the great work!
