A great effort to create this series. My daughter loved this and I found a great way to introduce Mahabharata to kids.

As an Indian-American, I have been extremely interested in learning about the stories of Indian culture, and the Mahabharata easily became my favorite story. However, most adaptations of the epic have sub-par production quality and try to condense everything into too short of a time frame. This podcast, however, does not do any of that. It mentions all the plot points while giving effective summary in some areas, has great dialogue to enhance the characters, and has cool sound effects to elevate the audio as a whole. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about the great story of the Mahabharata but does not want the extremely long full version with the verses. I am catching up to the recent episode and eager for more!

This is a fantastic series of podcast retelling the story Mahabharata. I am disappointed when the series ended after the conclusion of the Kurukshetra war. I would like to hear how the Pandavas come back to Hastinapur, how Dhritarashtra almost killed Bhim, the Pandavas final journey to the Himalayas Ramayana next?

Such an addictive storytelling and sound engineering by the duo. Only suggestion I can give is to add a female cast to help with character voices!

This series is fantastic!

I am a big fan of the mythologies and folklore of all cultures, I’m not sure where this story falls on that (sometimes sliding) scale, but it is truly enthralling. The story is told in in a way that you can see the passion of the storyteller and his love of these stories and characters, he booms his voice as the mightier characters boast or threaten and sounds on the verge of tears as they confess their weaknesses or apologize any wrongdoings. It is a fascinating story draws you into the characters. Some of the few negatives is that is full of the common tropes of these types of stories, inconsistencies in some of personalities and such, there a lot of details that will feel familiar if you follow classical Greek mythologies. In fairness, these tropes gotta start somewhere and they exist across almost all of these types of stories across all cultures. The sound design is very good but can sometimes be distracting, making it hard to hear the narrator… but these instances are few and far between. Overall, it’s a fantastic series and I can’t wait for more as I’ve just caught up with the backlog of episodes.

Extraordinary narration and also very much close to facts with few exception(unless you read Vyasa Mahabharata). If congratulate both Narrator and Musician on accomplishing this task.

I have ran through this series 4 times. It is truly amazing. Best story telling, this show grips me and throws me into the battlefield, and makes me feel every emotion. Please please please let the Ramayana be the next project.

I enjoyed. Good to know this epic story of Mahabharata. However, in the last episode 69 they left Duryodhan without killing. Didn’t talk about the story after that. It doesn’t look like a finished story.

Excellent narration! Thoroughly enjoyed and got to know lot of insight.

The audio episodes are all well very presented in concise and easy to understand yet bind you to the gradual unfolding drama of this epic. The human conflict, emotion, jealousy, pride, respect and sense of duty and morality all have been well presented in the episodes . The background music has been introduced in a very positive way to heighten the drama, suspense, joy or sorrow. In all it is a work of passion to enure that ordinary people can understand and enjoy this epic story which took place 1000s of years ago ang the lessons are still valid today 🙏

Sudipto is a genuine storyteller and with the good old radio storytelling prop method the stories come to life. I am enjoying listening to every episode of this podcast and hope there is one for Ramayana and the various Puranas. However, the story of Ekalavya is not correct. Also, the episodes 13,14, and 15 are out of order which disrupts the flow of events and stories. Please rectify these.

This has all the wonder & charm of real golden age radio drama and makes this classic of world literature become very real, immediate, accessible and ENJOYABLE.

The consistency of audio and passion is on point and I am endlessly grateful for the epic and this retelling.

Detailed and amazing narration.

The storytelling is captivating, and the music and sound design enhance the narrative. The narrator uses his voice well and knows how to relate the action. The sound design adds the spice. This is my first time being exposed to the story, which is offered in small enough portions that it is easily digestible. I have listened to more than twenty episodes so far, and my only worry is catching up and having to wait for further episodes!

Absolutely fantastic Podcast to listen to.

Great storytelling, great reading, great sound, great producing. If I stop listening before the end it will be because I can't handle so much tragedy. But I'm a comedy and romance fan. People who love drama will love it.

yes the narration is good and so are the sound affects but he rarely uploads and when you finish all the episodes you will finally realize. All the people who put five stars you are wrong but it will take time that’s just the way it is.

I am completely engaged and love this series. It is well done and can’t wait to learn more about this epic.
