    Love Listening on a Loop
I think that I’m on my 8th listen through of all episodes and there is still stuff that I’m finding that I never heard. Great to listen to while doing other things since no matter how much attention is paid, you always get that feeling of “Did I hear what I think that I just heard?”

    It's funny. Listen to it.
This is the best podcast. Listen to this podcast. The senior parts have not influenced my review in any way.

    Fistshark Marketing
A hilarious improv comedy podcast following a pair of nihilistic marketing executives. Jim and Conrad navigate the cutthroat world of marketing and the entertainment industry, dealing with eldritch threats and overbearing bosses along the way. It’s a subversive, dark and hilarious podcast that I can’t recommend enough; and best podcast Jim Sterling does

    My Favorite Podcast
I’ve listened to every episode of this thing at least 3 times now, and it still hasn’t gotten stale. FistShark is a marketing firm where Hollywood’s most mediocre C-List celebrities mingle with gas mask-wearing doctors, eldritch horrors, and Val Kilmer nude in black body paint. Jim and Conrad bring a hapless sleaze to the Executives that fits perfectly with the absurd and macabre setting they’ve built, and no matter how dark the joke gets, it never stops feeling fun. The characterizations of each client are consistent and fully realized, even at their most ridiculous, and honestly sometimes i forget that Miley Cyrus doesn’t actually have an obsession with building her “flying machines”. It’s an almost Night Vale-esque approach to world-building, where one-off jokes become major plot points or fully realized sketches down the road. It’s amazing to me that this type of story-telling approach can work with something so off-the-cuff, but FistShark pulls it off. And now that an amazing “second season” with Paulson Sear has just ended (in a spectacularly “FistShark” fashion), I can’t wait to see where they go from here! If you enjoy morbid comedy and strange, parodic (but totally not slanderous!) portrayals of actual celebrities, this might just be for you. P.S. Please follow office policy and fling a pencil at Craig on your way out the door. P.P.S. Aim for the eyes.

Good job guys! You all are incredible improvers!

    Hilarious, spurious satire
This is a vastly enjoyable satire of the repulsive excess and reckless abandon of a cynical corporation. From the endless suffering of Kreg the Intern, to the almost painful insanity of my personal favorite, New Frog 2017, if you have a dark sense of humor you will love this podcast. I would also say that if you've spent a little too much time working at such a cynical corporation yourself, and Dilbert has become too depressing because you realized a long time ago that was your life, this is a great alternative...

    Funny Stuff!
I grew up in Downtown Manhattan next to The UCB Theatre. So from a young age I learned that improv was in fact mouthtrash. Conrad and Jim manage to turn said mouthtrash to gold. Both "Lucky Boy" and "The New Frog" were both great!

    funny storyline
Always a laugh, Jim's pretty creative. And I want to date Conrad's voice, the outro's the best.

I'm offended in a good way
I find this podcast racist, sexist, patriarchical, misogynistic, bigoted and very easy to jerk off to.

Very fun and funny. Has a dark twist that reminds me of welcome to nightvale. Great show dudes keep it up. I listen to it at work and it makes the day easier.

    First hand education into marketing
Fistshark marketing is a podcast that is good. Sometimes I walk to a place and think to myself 'what is it like to be a marketeer'. So I pop my favourite podcast. By licensing to this podcast, you will learn what it be like to represent a performer such as Miley Cyrus. And how these people put their lives on the line so that we may live in comfort.

Why we will never play Mother 3
This podcast is like listening to the PR and marketing meetings for the best, worst companies ever. Jim and the gang nail the out-of-touch, clueless persona's of your average marketing firm. Hilarious! Paulson Sear is an amazing new addition!

    You should(n't) listen
This is a podcast for those of us who are, and know we are, terrible. It's very funny, sometimes quite dark, eldritch even at times. It is, however, high quality. The comedy flows well, and the absurdity of it all is well balanced. If you like pop culture satire, improv comedy, or just want to feel superior to an entire fanbase of people, give this a shot!

    Hilarious and well-done improv
Been a fan of Jim's since he started airing The Jimquisition on The Escapist, and heard about this podcast while listening to an episode of another gaming podcast I list to, Co-Optional Podcast. I'm a fan of improv comedy, so I decided to look into it. Best decision I've made all year. Dark, hilarious and biting, this podcast is a must-listen!

    High concept, flawed delivery
If you've listened to previous podcasts featuring Jim Sterling and Conrad Zimmerman, The Dismal Jesters and their run on Podtoid, you know the strengths and weaknesses they have on display. In both cases, it was Jim's lunatic glee and regular shotgun blasts of gross out, scatological inventiveness and relentless lust for Jonathan Holmes that drove the proceedings. However, this new podcast, is a much more staid and high concept affair. It's a podcast about a fictional marketing company and the cartoonishly awful things that go along with that. The characters Jim, Conrad and Caitlin portray are all oblivious and horrible and the stars they represent are worse. On paper, it could work. The show seems mostly improv and for three people who are not trained performers, they show a surprising skill at it and share a good chemistry together. Unfortunately, even at a half hour, the show drags. Because it's tied to it's concept, it can't achieve much lift off because it's stuck enforcing some semblence of reality where The Dismal Jesters and Podtoid could take Jim's flights of grotesque fancy to it's Grand Guignol endpoint. Which is fine if Jim and Conrad want to evolve but as satire, it doesn't bite hard enough to really be recommended. We've all heard how awful the marketing machine is and FistShark brings no new ideas to the table. There's still potential here but, six or seven episodes in, it's not a high recommend.

    For decency's sake, Craig!
This is a fantastic marketing podcast. I feel my company may greatly benefit with these few tips and tricks I've learned listening to this podcast! My only gripe is that Craig, the intern, consistantly mars the podcast's overall quality with his many and numerous mistakes, fumbles, and idiocies. Otherwise, the podcast is enirely informative, insightful, and foremost, helpful to the modern businessman

    Wonderful kind of b*llocks
I'm really hooked to this podcast. Three wonderful episodes in and I still don't know what's going on. The only time I can and only say that is that is with Japanese stuff so, good job Jim, Conrad, and Caitlin, good job. You deserve a grand applause that I can't give you.

    High Concept Podcast
A lot of podtoid/dismal jesters fans might gnash their teeth at the change in format, but this show has been a lot of fun so far. The crew has an innate playfulness that is infectious, and their commitment to the concept is really something. I hope that one day FSM will finally take on that white whale of a client that is Willem Dafoe.

Lives up to it's hosts' legacies
Jim Sterling and Conrad Zimmerman without their frequent podcast collaborator/foil Jonathon Holmes sounded like a podcast devoid of the humor I had come to love from the trio. Yet, by the end of episode one of Fistshark Marketing, I could immediately tell my worries were unfounded. This podcast is dark, clever, and without a doubt will turn a lot of people off, but for the 10 people who stay and listen to the controlled insanity, they'll find an instant classic of a podcast as well as a very different but excellently made successor/spin-off(?) of Dismal Jesters.

Funny silliness about the economy and celebeties doing the dirty sexning
This podcast is a spirtual sucessor to the podcast The Dismal Jesters, which in turn is a spirtual sucessor to Podtoid. It's funny, the hosts pretend their in an actual comany in charge of the PR of forgotten celeberties like Val Kilmer and the kid with the green shirt from Stand by Me

In the Fast pace world of online marketing these are the heroes we need to lead us in to a new age .
I think it is amazing that the FistShark Marketing team has allowed us to listen in on their internal conversations and strategy meetings. When it comes to a top notch marketing group with some of the most amazing talent under their belt FistShark Marketing cannot be beat. You'll learn advanced techniques and marketing to the biggest clients within your range. Only one episode has been released and I've already tripled my profits in my own company. You can take it from me Michael ,Space Jam, Jordan.

    A weak offering
As a fan of Podtoid and DJ, I was happy to hear that Jim and Conrad were back on the air. However, the format of this show isn't nearly as entertaining without the put-upon straight man or dissenting opinion. I didn't so much as chuckle the whole episode. Maybe future episodes will be better, but this is a very anemic start.

    The apex of evolution
Fist Shark Marketing. Great podcast? Maybe. Greatest podcast? Definitely. In Fist Shark Marketing we see the final and inevitable evolution of the comedy podcasting of Jim Stirling and Conrad Zimmerman. What began with Podtoid and evolved through Dismal Jesters reaches its apex here with Fist Shark Marketing. Joined by the excellent Caitlyn Cooke, the trio walk the fine line of satire with such skill that it borders on the unsettling. Listen if you love comedy. Listen if you love awesome people doing awesome things. Just listen and be better for it.

    Potentially Perfect Podcast
As a purveyor of the previous products of Jim Sterling and Conrad Zimmerman, I previsioned a particular production. The partners at FistShark Marketing provided pleasing, if peculiar, proof of their power as peppy players. I plan to procure this podcast punctually in perpetuity.

    My business is fully erect.
After just one listen of FistShark Marketing, my NASDAQ has reached level an hundred and beat the entire Elite Four plus Gary. Best marketing podcast around.
  • GLuna46
not really dismal jesters but thats a great thing.
its basicly one of my favorite segments form podtoid where jim and the gang would come up with ideas for movies but they role play as producers i think, and they pitch ideas for movies. i love it hope it does well and hopefuly maybe have a longer run time. but still i was entertained for 25 minutes.

    Fantastic Stuff
PR Guru Jim Sterling and his crack team of associates (Conrad Zimmerman and Caitlin Cooke) are on their A-Game and you get all the benefits! Listen in as they devise the hottest new marketing plans for some former a-list actors and other current Hollywood pariah. If Fistshark Marketing can't sway current public perception of these desperate brands, no one can!
  • Volgin13
Good start, want to see improvement.
It is a good concept(parody marketing meetings), and feels like something that can go pretty far. I'll update the rating when I get a better idea of the show.

    The best business podcast ever!
FistShark are marketing gurus! Their advise has made me an hundred cents!

    A wonderful progression.
I've been a fan of Jim's since the early Podtoid days (back when it was Jim, Matt, Tara and Freaky Constantina). And Conrad's deadpan delivery and blithe nihilism made for a perfect pairing with Jim's over the top style of comedy. I'm admittedly not as familiar with Caitlin Cooke's body of work, but I enjoyed what I heard in this first episode. The format of this show gives an excellent focus for everyone to get in, make their jokes and get out. I'm excited to see where this new premise takes the gang.

    Hysterically funny satire
A dark, nasty and very funny series about an amoral and possibly insane PR firm discussing their plans to promote their D-List celebrity clients in order to raise their profiles and revive their careers. Delivered in completely straight-faced and matter-of-fact manner, the deadpan comedy is funnier for not signally its own comedy. Highly recommended if you like you comedy British and merciless.
