PaulMD1969“This changes EVERYTHING, but changes nothing”I took Mikes passing extremely hard as he went through his trials towards the end. I will forever be grateful for all of the knowledge I’ve gained without having to get my MDiv. He taught us how to be critical and gave us the tools to go deeper. I hope to master his material as others need to know.

HotelRomeo52Now I am an Old Testament girl!!Love this podcast. Thank God that Dr. Hieser was pressed to spin out content like he did. His explanations make the Bible make sense. Start from the beginning, folks.

Over the garden gateReally? How can one stand on truth, when the base is set on pagan theology? Please, read The Unknown Realm, and then read The Unbiblical Realm, and tell me which is truth. Which one of these is actually Biblical?

nxavisLegendary podcast!Mike Heiser is a “dot connector” who distills hard-to-access scholarship into knowledge for the masses. His approach is faith-based but not dismissive of critical scholarship. Academically and theologically rock solid but not afraid to be heterodox. Mike’s work has significantly strengthened and enriched my faith and is the sole reason that I now, finally, can truly say that the Bible is my favorite book.

Br&enKayGrow your paradigmThis will expand and bring a fullness to your understanding about many difficult things in the Bible.

Javier OrsiniBest Bible Podcast EverThis is simply the greatest podcast ever! It may take a bit to see where Michael Heiser is going each podcast, but the places he goes is always fascinating, wild, and enriching. His love for the bizarre, supernatural, and Hebrew is why I love this podcast.

Mark80501Listen. Binge. Repeat. You will be challenged. You will learn. You will be changed for the better as Michael teaches from the pages of scripture, history, and the D32 worldview.

jmbt341001Changed My Whole OutlookDr Heiser, as he said, you’ll never look at you Bible the same again. That’s what this podcast has done, we miss Dr Heiser and Trey. I know God has Dr Heiser working in heaven on something for him, God bless his family and friends that he left behind.

I a kid36795Good podcast, but name is confusingI heard naked Bible I thought they meant like naked but now I realize they meant skin of modern civilization and stuff like that but overall, I think it’s great and should try it. I also think you should try BibleProject.

PaulaKZRMind openingI was given a copy of Supernatural as my introduction to Mike Heifer’s work. I’ve now read many of his books and love this podcast. I’m grateful that he was with us long enough to help open our minds to be better at studying the Bible and help get us closer to God.

steve tramelEye opening and reassuring.I’m forever grateful for this podcast. The way that Dr. Michael S. Heiser approaches the Bible is unlike any other scholar or commentator I’ve ever followed. I admire the way that the scriptures are taught and held in high esteem on this podcast. Michael Heiser isn’t afraid to address hot topics that you’ll rarely hear preached from the pulpit. I’m sad to know that Michael is no longer with us here on earth, but I’m confident we’ll get to meet one day on the other side of the grave. Much of my confidence today that I have in certain theological concepts have been strengthen by this podcast. I cannot thank y’all enough!!

Naked Bible FanBest Podcast EverI’ve never heard anyone with such nuanced, data driven and well thought out ideas on how to understand scripture. Michael Heiser was a great man and I thank him for the time he took to explain both the valid and invalid points in scholarship to the lay Christian. My family and I pray nightly for his wife and children who daily have to deal with his loss.

TAGDESIGNOh, for more…The first inkling of Dr. Heiser’s work came from strange looking previews on YouTube featuring simplistic angel images and titles about Divine Council and Sons of God from a podcast with “naked” in the title. Strange stuff which this middle-aged Christian better stay away from. After a few months I felt secure in my faith so I took a peek. It was strange, but was perfectly biblical, so I watched more. THAT week Mike was on Moody Radio discussion his new book, Unseen Realm (If it’s on Moody, it must be OK). The step was watching, over and over, the “Divine Council 101” videos. That did it. Every day of the next 5-6 years included deep dives into scripture with Dr. Michael S. Heiser. About a month into it as I drove my wife to work I described the divine council to her. She listened quietly. As she got out of the car she leaned down and matter-factly said, “that sounds like a pantheon.” Rough start…like most of us. She now devours scripture using Logos and other resources to find the original word meanings and context. We both praise the LORD for allowing to learn from Mike for even this short time. The Naked Bible Podcast IS my starting point each day as I prepare for the day.

RebMcMillerKeep It Going, It’s Needed!I’ve been following this podcast for a few years, now. Like so many others it’s been life-changing. Incomparable. Even with new voices, I hope it can continue on in the same vein Dr. Heiser had it. It’s much needed! Thank you to Dr. Heiser, Trey, and contributing scholars. Please, don’t stop!

MasonswGreat resource for thinking Biblically.I have listened to the Naked Bible podcast and it is great for those wanting a deep understanding of the Biblical text.

CDKat1992ReferralI was referred to you by another podcast, “finding normal after a spiritual trauma“. This was very helpful, looking forward to listening to the rest.

oldmanballerThank youI am an old guy, 61! Have a bachelors in pastoral ministry, went to seminary and spent 15 years in full time ministry. I work with a 72 year old skeptic. For 5 years we had great discussions. He always wanted to talk ufo’s I never had any adequate answers. So I googled and found mike’s website. That led me to everything. My 2 son’s are pastors. When I reached palm 82 I asked them to take a look. It had the “ring of truth” but am I crazy? They are all in. It’s the greatest connection of dots ever. I am so excited about the word I can’t get enough of it. Thank you. I also think it’ awesome that you love fantasy football. IMO it’s the best game you can play. What do you think about having a listener league? Have a contest where every year some of the listeners get to be in a league with you and Trey! I think it would be a blast! Anyway thank you. Btw my old skeptic friend has a believing loyalty with Jesus. Still a ton of questions but that makes it fun. He is amazed that he helped me in my faith! Once again thank you.

yoummooowow. i cautiously opened the doorafraid of disappointment but i should have trusted. what a great message of Samuel 15. thank you justin bass. awesome

estburkeHumanizing for God’s GloryHe’s still speaking, thankfully. Another way God used Dr. Heiser was to make being human a wonderful something. It’s a truth that has ransformed my life as I’ve heard his podcasts: that God uses us as humans, instead of overtaking us in some paranormal way. Dr. Heiser seemed very normal too, but there’s something wondrous in that: he acted as God would have him act, but of his own volition, as part of God’s family. To God be the glory!

Kels3317Spiritual foodIf it wasn’t for Dr. Michael Heiser, I don’t know where I would be in my Christian journey. As a relatively young Christian (just over a year) I feel like God helped me find Michael’s content including this podcast. I’m so grateful for the work he has done to bring scholar quality content to the laymen who doesn’t have the knowledge base like a person like me. He has grounded me in truth and goes into so much interesting detail of how amazing and interesting the Bible really is. He made what I thought was a boring “book” to now infatuated with reading it means learning more He is a gift from God that I thank God every day for. He doesn’t just give you information but teaches you how to think and use reason to make sense of things. With so much information online, this podcast has strengthened my ability of discernment. I can’t write enough good things about this podcast. Give it a chance and you find yourself understanding just how the Bible is such a special collection of texts.

Ronaldus 3657Blessings galore in these podcastsMike is with the Lord now, but these podcasts are still relevant to understanding the worldview of those who read the scriptures first. Episode 270 regarding the Passover was really good.
-
Marshall509My Bible has been revealed!!I’ll never read my Bible the same again!! Dr Heiser connected the dots and talks about things I’ve never heard before! Made me realize what I was getting from the pulpit was so watered down and to appease the crowd!! This is the meat and potatoes! The best cream! I’m so thankful I stumbled onto the Unseen Realm a few years back! I’ve started at podcast 1 and am going through to the end! Every episode is a treasure trove! I look forward them daily. Thank you Mike! You have gone on to the unseen realm and now you know!! God bless you for your life’s work! I really can’t put into words how grateful I am for your humble teachings.

The name2BlessingVery sad to hear about Dr. Heiser’s passing. Sad that this will not continue, but hoping for a final celebration podcast that celebrates his life and ministry. Thank You for providing us with a lifetime of audio recordings to think about, meditate on, and glorify the name of God with.

dlmelton1His work lives on!Dr. Hester, went to the Unseen Realm, on Monday, February 20th 2023. He battled the cancer bravely, and received the greatest prize, eternity with the Most High God. Although we will probably never have a better teacher, on this side of heaven, his wisdom is not lost to us. His books, website, and this podcast hold a wealth of knowledge. You just need to take the time to listen, read, and learn.

Buggy SprintGreat Sadness.I just read about Dr Heisers worsening conditions. I am a 60 yr old man and not typically outwardly emotional. When I read the heath update it almost brought tears to my eyes. Michael is my friend, my mentor he doesn’t know me but I have spent hundreds of hours listening to him. He is like a trusted friend, a spiritual giant in my world. Michael is a rare combination of genius level intelligence but completely humble and down to earth. If he were my neighbor I could see us discussing how to change a mower spark plug just as easily as discussing 2nd temple Jewish practices. I’m still holding out hope for a divine miracle, no one deserves one more than Mike Heiser. Dr Mike, thank you for explaining so well the spiritual world. You explained so well so many things that were missing from my understanding, things that I almost knew in my gut, the gaps in completely understanding my Christian faith. It’s not likely I will ever meet you in this world, but I certainly look forward to meeting just past heavens gate! I look forward to the conversations that we will have. Please DONT make me talk about fantasy football 😂. It makes no sense to me. May Christ our Lord Bless you. Well done my good and faithful brother.
-
MGThillEpisode 451Absolutely obsessed with this podcast. Ever since I watched Dr Hieser’s interview on the Becket Cook show I have been listening to this and got the book Unseen Realm. What happened to the Ark after Christ died? Was it destroyed with the temple or stollen? Thank you for all your wisdom! I’m learning so much!
-
slimzacDeep but easy to understand.Every episode teaches me something new but most importantly, it teaches how we get to a proper understanding. We will miss you until that day.
-
NTIgirlThis Podcast is AWESOME!I think the conversations that come into the podcast, that always brings it back to looking at the Bible as a whole, from the eyes of its original writers and audience, has helped me understand things for the first time. Unlike most pastors that when you ask a question, they criticize you for not just believing, or even tell you that your in the wrong church as show you the door, Micheal Heiser responds from a true combination of study and guidance of the Holy Spirit. I’ve also enjoyed many of his books, but most importantly I’m reading and studying my Bible daily, and actually look forward to it! Thank you for helping us understand the unfiltered truth of the Word.
-
Andrew459526Pure unfiltered biblical truthWeather you are a Christian or not you need to listen to this podcast. Dr Michael s Heiser presents the Bible to you with out a religious spin so you can make informed decisions.

boatpantsLife ChangingThis podcast and the work of Dr. Heiser has been instrumental and life changing in my biblical studies, understanding and courage to tackle the difficult areas of the Bible. The scholarly approach and incredible communication style of Dr Heiser allows for learning but also depth and complexity. I have spent the last two years plowing through all the podcasts and materials I could get my hands on and have grown spiritually. Thank you Dr. Heiser.
