Rave Reviews -DFWWriting with ADHDThis may be the most important podcast ever for writers, especially for those of us who know we have ADHD. I firmly believe those of us gifted with a brain that is wired to write also struggle with focus. I love the helpful strategies shared and Sarah’s vulnerability and willingness to open up about her struggles. When I listen to this podcast I feel so validated and encouraged. Keep writing Sarah and as you have time and energy, keep podcasting! You have a gift. Thanks for sharing it.

But you failed to say one added Ya… but reason and that is all the people who have had the same issues or needed a little boost to get started THAT YOU ASSISTED. sparrowsinkwellThe right dose of motivationI enjoy this podcast immensely because of the graceful messages behind them. As a writer, I feel like each message resonates with my struggles in trying to be a productive writer but having a busy interruptive life and not to mention the brain fog from my life transition. Every time I get done with an episode I feel more at ease to set my own pace in achieving my writing goals.

new fan of the showThis came to me just in timeI’m a scientist, not a fiction writer, but I write all the time and I am trying to break out of my comfort zone (hiding behind research and data) and write to communicate ideas to a public audience. The process is difficult. experience all the emotions: especially resistance, procrastination, validation-seeking, and lots of fear of not being good enough. Sarah’s compassionate and vulnerable voice is part of my morning routine now. One episode makes me brave and ready to start my writing for the day! I have deep gratitude for her and how she shares her journey so openly. Listen you will not regret it!

corditoriBeen loving the interviews!Sarah keeps promising us that Write Now isn’t becoming an “interview” podcast, but I have been loving every guest she has brought in! I am fully obsessed with Amie McNee now! I enjoy the solo episodes, but Sarah does such a fantastic job interviewing other writers and talking about the craft in a way that makes me feel seen and excited to write!

grrgbjbfsvhjjjhbCan’t get enough!I have listened to each episode of The Write Now Podcast about 5 times over. It is so inspiring, uplifting and motivating, I can’t get enough. Every time I think I I can’t do it anymore, that it’s too hard or that I’m a complete and utter hack and am only embarrassing myself, I tune in and turn it up. Sarah’s thoughtful words and impactful topics help me to straighten my shoulders and jump back into the fray. Even shuttered away from the world due to Covid and working from home, the podcast has given me a sense of community and understanding that I had been sorely lacking. Thank you, Sarah, for all your hard work, it is greatly appreciated!

markasoresI LOVE SARAH WERNER!!Omgosh every episode just speaks to my writer soul! Every time I feel like quitting or feel so guilty for taking time to write or just get stuck in a lull, Sarah is there with an awesome relatable podcast that reminds me that what I’m feeling is normal. That other writers feel the same things and go through the same motions. She talks about her own struggles with depression and anxiety 🙏🏻 self care. It’s like having a therapy session on the couch while also being really encouraging about your writing. Yeah... she’s basically a writing therapist! I love her. Listen to every episode!

From What Is WorldGive Yourself Some GraceThis is an amazing podcast. I highly recommend it to everyone. I’m a young writer and this has been the kick-in-the-pants I needed to write. I had all but given up. I’ve also seen many complain about her me-me-me mentality of this podcast, but I actually enjoy this, too. To some it shows a selfish ego, but it shows that she understands the writers around her. And honestly? How else would she do this podcast? Thank you Sarah Werner! I hope you love what you do and do what you love. Grace I leave with you, because you have given me grace.

Sinjin321Sarah WhinerI've listened to this podcast for a year plus. At first I found is charming, real and insighful. As time went on though, it just became monotonous. I could go into great detail, but don't want to be too critical. It's great that Sarah has found a platform and according to her, making a living doing this. I even took the time to listen and read her podcasting advice and mentorship she is selling. I really haven't heard or read anything worth buying. It seems to be common sense advice that she is trying to sell.

In Author WordsResistanceYou have such a clear and concise message. Thank you so much for offering an understanding and such wisdom. Carla Dulaney

-
Ana LeonowensHit or MissI find the insight invaluable, but have to hear a “me-centered” rant sprinkled between nuggets of wisdom. More “ah ha,” And less “me me.”

OtterkitLike sitting down with a good friend. Equal parts inspiration and comfortI adore this podcast. Listening to it feels like sitting down with a creative friend over something warm. Sarah offers support, reassurance, her own struggles in validation of yours and humorous comfort to get you through your day. I smile every time an episode pops up in my feed.

Shannab123Spectacular Pod CastI have an hour drive to work everyday at 2 o’clock in the morning and I have listened to my fair share of podcasts, mostly on writing. (Mr.540)Just what I neededI have always wanted to write a novel. I created a base outline and decided to see if there were on podcasts on writing. I am so grateful for stumbling upon this podcast! AgentaEmmeLove Sarah enough to post a review even though I hate iTunes. :)I am not a writer. It took me a long time to realize that even though I enjoy coming up with stories and plots, I do not enjoy putting pen to paper and making them more final. For me the Write Now podcast is very theraputic. It has led me down a healthier self-care route that enables me to put my time and energy into creating something every day (even if it's not writing). Sarah's podcast is uplifting and inspirational. At the end of every episode I feel I can take on the world! Thank you Sarah!

Ebie CamaraBest coffee breakAbsolutely inspiring, resourceful and captivating. Top-notch! I pray God Almighty rewards you Sarah. This is my first podcast review and I could write an essay.

Vincent RavencroftInformative, Encouraging, and EntertainingSarah is a great podcaster! I have been listening to her Write Now podcast over the last year and it has inspired me to pursue writing. As of a year ago, I never would have thought I could be a writer. I always dismissed my work as being subpar and incomprable to what actual "writers" could do. But, Sarah helped to show me that writing is not all about ability--that's something you can develop--but mainly about mindset; I am a writer because I say I am! Sarah discusses a multitude of topics that can really help shape your understanding of writing and provide new perspective on who you are as a writer. Above anything else, she is encouraging! I have never once felt like I had to re-evaluate my identity as a writer because she came down hard on a topic. Maybe I had to look at my writing differently (which is a good thing), but never my identity. Finally, Sarah creates a ton of laughs! She's a joy to listen to and I always look forward to her Write Now episodes. I haven't been able to follow her Coffee Break episodes as much, but the ones I've been able to listen to are engaging. Thank you, Sarah, for inspiring and enncouraging so many of us, myself included.
-
MyMomCallsMePhatThis is only the best. This is one of the first podcasts I subscribed to and I will always be an avid supporter. Sarah rocks; her kindness, intelligence, interviews, advice, overwhelming support, and she of humor rocks! Check out Girl in Space while you're at it!

Mr1toseeGratefulI recently graduated with a BFA in creative writing and after four years I was somewhat burnt out. Your podcast is like a breath of life for people that may be struggling to put their words on paper. Thank you for having the answers to the questions that we haven’t asked yet.
-
bookwormsoulThis is amazingThis is so amazing. It inspired me so much. I constantly have stories in my mind but I’ve always thought something like it has been written. I now know that I can write and the world will appreciate it. Thank you.

jhawk4lifeGood for you!Sarah, this is a long overdue review. I love your podcast! I usually listen twice as I often listen at night because your voice is so easy to listen to, but then I slip off into slumber land and miss half of it so, I play it again. While I have enjoyed many of your coffee breaks, I had been thinking a while back how much I really missed your thoughts on writing so I was thrilled to listen to the "Critics and You" posting on July 16 and hear you are doing what fills your cup and giving up the coffee breaks. Good for you, which is good for us, the listeners. Keep up the hard work. I will be listening. Not once, but twice.
-
BardsleywordsThank you.The Coffee Break series is great. Sarah is always intelligent and insightful. She treats her guests with a great deal of compassion. However, I really find myself missing the original Write Now episodes where Sarah spoke directly to the audience on a variety of writing related topics. They felt like pep talks, and would often leave me energized and motivated. While I prefer Write Now to the Coffee Break episodes, both are cherished gifts.
-
TigertaleGreat Encouragement, Relaxing Podcast!Sarah is like NPR, she could be taking about destruction but her voice is so calm and reassuring that it’s not so bad. Add to that being a talented yet relatable writer and podcaster and you have a great podcast to listen to as a writer whenever you believe you’ve lost your way, or just look to sharpen your skill set.
-
